Most excellent Mexican cuisine at very affordable prices! Had the enchiladas in mole sauce and thoroughly enjoyed the flavor. We also had the trio and a veggie quesadilla and really enjoyed it as well. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs the whole meal. Definitely worth the money!

Polite servers but LOTS of mistakes made...food was alright but nothing special. Pretty much only meat and lettuce on the tacos. Drinks were good though. After requested fresh chips were good and salsa wasn't bland but no texture.

Well, I would not call the cuisine here to be authentic Mexican. The complimentary chips were served with bland dip and the guacamole dip had no flavor. I ordered the chicken quesadillas and they also were bland. I also ordered a long island iced tea and instead got a margarita served in a high-ball glass. All in all I would not recommend this place.

Cadillac Marg! Luis R. Great server! I was looking for a gluten free option for dining in Mankato. I saw this place and thought I'd give it a try. I started with the Cadillac Margarita. Oh, My Goodness! First of all, it's HUGE and it's only $8!!! I would pay that just for the shot of Grand Manier in it here in Phoenix! Amazing amount of alcohol and the taste blew me away. So I had two! Then I opted for the cheese enchiladas with cheese sauce to keep them gluten free. I got a side of beans and rice and kind of put them all together for a wonderful play of flavor. The waiter was great with helping me keep my plate gluten free and he was really patient and terrific. My husband got a burrito and was equally thrilled with it. The meal was sooooooo good that I wanted to go back the following night. I was bummed because we ended up being called out of town early :( I want to go back. Yum! So worth a trip!

I had the Enchiladas Verdes with pork for lunch and, despite it being a dinner entree, I ate the whole thing the flavor was so good. I am glad I don't live in the area because I would be be here often... can't wait to try the tacos next time I'm in town.

Food was delivered quickly, MN marg was just right not watered down like you find in some places. The fajitas were good and I really liked the homemade flour torts. Prices were in line with the experience.

La Terrazza is awesome! Everyone's food was fantastic and for a great value. You will pay $1-$2 more per entree than your typical Mexican place, but the service and quality is worth it. The ambience is very classy, yet family friendly. We will definitely be back.

We ate here while visiting from Michigan. Food was great, server was great too! Being married to Hispanic husband-- I can say we are picky. The food was great--healthy portions not super huge but filling. We'd all come here again!

Quite possibly the most disgusting Mexican food I've eaten. The service was OK, and the restaurant is beautiful but the food was awful. And expensive. Go to Mazatlan

Good food! Both myself and my boyfriend ordered the enchiladas and we both were pleased. I really like there chips and salsa! There salsa is a picante which is my favorite. We also had margaritas which were good. They tasted a little bit strongly of the sour mix they put in but they weren't bad! Overall it was a good experience and the food was good!

Excellent atmosphere and cuisine. Very enjoyable. Great service as well. Tip: Check out the back page of the menu for value priced meals. Excellent food at a great price (personally, I like the one they call the Vallarta)

Better than a chain but not truly authentic .... Good food but not great. SERVICE was great however and if I was local I'd likely return. Margarita was yummy (with a good amount of alcohol - thank you :)) but food was just fine. Yummy chips, good corn tortilla with tacos...pico tasted weird though. Very clean, nice decor, great service and decent food ;)

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
