Bialka's Bar is a local bar and grill located in the small town of Opole - home to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and the manufacturer Polar. The place has some history to it. In the convenience store located next to the bar you can see old photos of the original store. On your typical weekday (and I often eat here weekly), you'll find Polar employees here on their lunch break. You'll find straightforward specials each day like a large soft shell taco, chicken strips or drummies and fries (Wed.), or a double cheeseburger. All of it tastes great. They have a great house salad for those looking A few things worth trying: sour cream fries, the restaurant's barbecue sauce, and the special Bialka Burger which features two patties, an onion ring, an egg, and more, on a bun. It will fill you up for the entire day. It's definitely worth trying as least once. On the weekend, you'll often find a DJ, band, or other special events going on, and during the winter it's a popular spot to stop for snowmobilers. John Bialka is often found behind the bar preparing food, and the servers are friendly. Cindy will keep your beverage filled. It's a quintessential historical, small town Minnesota bar and grill. A great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat, and catch up on the latest news in Lake Wobegone country.
