For 2012 I decided to try Bruegger's "Bottomless Mug Club" . 300 visits to my local favorite chain would cost me $1,500 per year. $149 vs. $1,500 hmmm. The little key chain tag makes it easy to use at various locations not that I travel far. I was in Edina this morning for an appointment I stopped by the Bruegger's at 70th and France. The staff made me think I was at a high end resort hotel and the other patrons giddy and making a fun buzz. I bought a bagel spread with Nuttela and Peanut butter (thick) very good! And a large cup of coffee. The interaction with the staff was outstanding. I drove back to my office on Grand Ave. in St. Paul to discover that I did not have my office keys. I called Bruegger's in Edina and sure enough my keys were there. I asked if they would put them in a taxi for me. NO. Ron said the manager would be coming to the Grand Ave. store around 3:00 could I wait. I said no, I would drive back to the store and pick the keys up. Ron said "NO - just a minute" he came back on the phone and said someone would drive them over to the Grand Ave. store unless I wanted them brought to me elsewhere and the driver would head out right away. (WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!) I thanked him. After about 20 minutes I walked over to my Bruegger's explained what happened, they poured me a cup of coffee and 3 minutes later my cell pone rang it was Ron saying my keys were there. The young lady who drove them over had just placed them on the counter with a huge smile. I have never, ever had an experience like this. WOW!!!!! Thank you for making my day and to the Bruegger's employees who saved my day. I would like to add that Bruegger's supports GABA, Grand Avenue Business Association of which I am also a member.

Everything gave the impression of being stale or day old. The iced coffee was obviously just old brew from the day before, and tasted like it. The bagel was stale and cold, even though I asked for it toasted. On top of it the staff acted like they didn't care about their jobs or the quality of what they were doing at all.

This is worse than most brueggers because every so often I will get food that tastes like baby diaper. The manager won't shut up either.

Awesome breakfast AND lunch options. They have a "bottomless mug" option for coffee, too, which is an excellent deal if you're a caffeine addict! The people at this location are very friendly and I've always been pleased with my food. Even though you'll feel stupid ordering it, the Leonardo da Veggie is a pretty good sandwich if you're looking for a yummy lunch option!

This was my first time at Bruegger's Bagels. I will say that this was not the best experience. I ordered my bagel and told them which cream cheese I wanted on my bagel and they quickly, (very quickly!) spread the cream cheese on my bagel. Then I asked if they were going to toast it and the server looked at me like I was asking for something insane. I have never been to a bagel shop that gives me the bagel cold. If I want a cold bagel I could go to costco, purchase those huge delicious everything bagels, and put my own cream cheese on it and eat it cold. But I wanted a warm extra toasted bagel, and this is a part of the experience you get when you go to a bagel shop! Freshly toasted deliciously warm bagels. Nope... she was giving me a cold bagel. I won't be coming to this location again. Many of the people working here look like they want to kill themselves and they look very unhappy. If they really are unhappy then it is very transparent and this does not set a good vibe in the atmosphere. Also, who serves cold bagels at a bagel shop???? Just, no.

I've been here quite often and I can honestly say after all the visits I've had, there's only one employee that actually knows how to make a bagel. So many of the employees seem like they aren't fully trained, unsure how to cut a bagel, add toppings, and majority of the time add WAY too much cream cheese. I don't want to pay full price for a bagel that is falling apart or is burnt from the toaster. They seem understaffed and you can easily tell which employees don't like each other. I go here only because it's the closest bagel place to me...if I had more options I definitely wouldn't return.

I was not too impressed with this place. I had the rosemary and olive oil bagel sandwich. It had a good taste, but it was all cold even though the bagel bin was marked as HOT.
