Healthy Meal suggestions for Noodles & Company

Noodles & Company is a great choice when you are looking for a quick, fresh meal in a relaxed atmosphere. I've been to several Noodles & Company locations and this one is my favorite due to the ample parking, patio seating, and the nice view of the lake and fountains. I went there last night with a friend and sat on the patio on what I consider a perfect MN summer night. I ordered the "Whole Grain Tuscon" pasta with grilled chicken. Mmm, so delicious with lots of fresh veggies. This store is located right next to the Southwest Transit Station so this might be a good spot to grab some lunch or dinner before catching the bus to a Twins game or the State Fair.

Just as predictable as every other Noodles & Company in every other suburban outlet. I imagine this is their slogan: "Noodles & Company: Bland-i-fying all the noodle dishes of the world... Just for you!"

Worst experience ever. This was my first time at this location. I ordered the Mac and Cheese and some soup, and 25 minutes later I still had nothing. Then while getting a refund, I discovered I was overcharged by nearly 35%. It was all returned to me, but none of this should have happened in the first place.

Surprisingly, I like noodles and company. Some of their dishes are bland but I feel like Minnesota and other Midwest dishes generally tend to be lacking in flavor. I typically come here just to have their Wisconsin mac & cheese. They make it fresh. I add meatballs to my dish because I need some protein. I definitely recommend you doing the same thing. They have a fountain machine where you can select which type of soda you want to drink and it pours out from one filter. I find that children like to play with the machine because They think it's so cool! There is decent amount of tables and chairs. they also have a patio outside with seating. Service is always fast. And the staff bus the tables fairly quickly. There's usually a line for dinner on the week days. Prices are under $10 a dish and there's a variety to choose from. They have noodle dishes from Asian countries, Italian, and domestic American pasta. Though I have to say that finding parking in that parking lot is somewhat challenging at times. They are right next door to chipotle right across from the Southwest station parking structure.

It's Noodles--most people know what to expect from the food so I'll skip that. The 'restaurant' is at the Southwest Transit Station and has a nice patio. The staff was friendly. While walking in, an older man asked us if we could tell the staff he's handicapped and needs assistance. We told the girl at the register and she immediately walked outside, took the man's order, then brought the food to his car. I was impressed with how accommodating she was.

If McDonald's is too high quality, try Noodles! They have noodles with fake (very processed) chicken on top and pretend skin on it! No joke, pretend skin! WTF?

Chick place. Chick food. Not a lot of pizazz. Ketchup has as much flavor as my Indonesian Peanut Saute did. How can that be? Josh E is spot on: "Bland-i-fying all the Noodle Dishes of the World"

If you're looking for a quick, reasonably priced, and consistent meal you can't do better than Noodles & Company. This place is like the fast food of pasta places, but takes little bit longer and is considerably better than anywhere with a drive thru. All meals are made to order so it's easy to substitute the type of pasta in the dish or subtract & add ingredients. I eat here at least once or twice a month just because it's so easy. Their iPhone app makes takeout a breeze and the orders are prepared by the time the app estimates. I really enjoy the spaghetti and meatballs, the penne rosa, and the pesto cavatappi. While the food may be a little on the bland side it's overall pretty good for the price.

As a former 'noodler' I would trust that the other employees would know how to ring in a simple order. A pesto with extra cheddar cheese sauce that's used in the Mac and cheese, with no mushrooms, substitute broccoli. Simple. When I got my order I had extra parm with and no broccoli or tomatoes (even though they come with it) for that matter. Also, the so called "pesto" (the #1 ingredient since it's called the Pesto...) was also barely there. My dish was white and dry. Make sure you look at your dish before you leave! Or you may be very disappointed, especially when you used to work at a noodles and comp. Basically your only job is to make sure you get your customers order right.

My penne rosa looked like Mac and cheese. Why skimp so much on the sauce. It tasted like buttered noodles. If you're going to offer a red pasta make sure it's served red.

A fine place for a quick meal. My daughters favorite location. They are relatively quick and the food is ok. I love the coca cola freestyle stand- a million different flavors.

Value wise, nothing gonna beat...little over $6 you get noodles and soup.... Service side little slow but time equals to money!!!! Need more variety of toppings!!!

Some variety. Some good food. Good services. However, the price just went up and the quantity down!! If you get a trio with tofu- watchout! you will be fed-up with tofu by the end of the meal for the rest of your life. TOO much tofu in every dish! I am writing this review because of the price hike and really small portion of food. Overall, it's good for a quick bite but heavy on the wallet.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
