    I love the pizza here! The quality of the pizza is definitely better than that of your typical pizza chain. There are many toppings to choose from to customize your pizza, but what I like the most here are the speciality pizzas. The Mona Lisa and White Hen are two of my favorite pizzas to order. I have also tried the Ham Caprese sandwich from their Oven Baked sandwich melts offerings, which was very delicious. The Solos PEP Club email subscription service also sends great deals for the pizzas and sandwiches too! The employees are friendly and the restaurant is decent in appearance. I am definitely a repeat customer!

    I have lunch on average at this place twice per week. Their pizza easily beats out any chain for flavor and freshness. They have everything from basic to gourmet. The staff is great and know what I'm having when I walk in the door. If you are a member of their club they also periodically email coupons. Highly recommend !

    There are plenty of things to like about the concept of this place, so I'll just jump right in with the highlights: _______________________ - Tons of toppings to choose from such as (but not limited to): fresh garlic, fresh basil, spinach, various olives, grilled chicken and gorgonzola. They also have an impressive sauce list that boasts everything from a basic marinara to a chipotle pesto. - They don't charge you out the ass for adding toppings like some places. For a 10" cheese pie at a base price of $5.95, each additional topping will only set you back a mere .75 cents. I appreciate that. - They've added a much needed selection of dinner salads to their menu. I'm not a gigantic salad person, but there are plenty that are and I think they realized they needed to tap into that demographic. - The ability to completely customize your pizza/salad endlessly appeals to me. I'm the type that looks at preset items and always finds at least one of the ingredients off-putting, so I love being -encouraged- to screw around with my meal. Besides, I've yet to see a bacon, jalapeno, garlic and fresh basil pizza on any menu... but I can order one here. Kachow, bitches. _______________________ Onto the lesser appealing: The kitchen is an open air type setup that allows you to see everything that's normally 'behind the scenes'. I'm a huge believer that if an area like this is going to be made into a focal point, it damn well better be scrubbed and tidy. It isn't. Now, I'm not saying it's filthy--the employees do clean--but it's just unkempt and therefore unpleasant to look at. There are toppings strewn about all over the floor, lots of cross-contamination is going on in the bins (LAWDY, OLIVES AINT S'POSED TO BE CO-MINGLIN' WITH NO APPLES OF THE PINE) and there's just a general air of 'we just had a huge rush and haven't cleaned yet' going on... all the time. Even when there wasn't a huge rush and it's not crowded. The pizza itself is tasty and priced correctly for what it is. It doesn't break any new ground but it's also markedly better than frozen and shit shacks like Pizza Hut. It's a solid 3.5 stars average for my handful of visits. A couple years ago, I gave Solo's a 2. The back area was a -lot- more disorganized and off-putting, the employees were wholly disinterested to the point of rudeness and the product was less than average (terrible sauce, lack of abundant options, nothing other than pizza... etc). But, you know what? I can happily applaud their efforts to not remain stagnant, as it's clear they've been making positive changes over the years. I'll continue to go back for that very reason; a business that listens to its customers is a place that deserves attention.

    I am a regular here at the Eagan location and I give it five stars. The staff greets you as soon as you walk in the store with a kind "welcome to solo's". The staff is very kind and helpful during the ordering process. You can choose from any of the favs or make your own. There is a lot of variety to choose from. They also have salads, soups, and sandwiches as well as pizza of course. The pricing us appropriate for their delicious food. There is a new coca cola freestyle drink machine in the store so you can choose any flavor combination you wish. They serve your order right to your table. The pizza cooks from the inside out in a 470 degree oven, making it a fast and easy process. The entire store is clean, and the crew is constantly cleaning and prepping to make the store look the best. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is a pizza lover!!!

    Decent spot for lunch. I went with the cheese breadsticks and a salad. The breadsticks were good - a little greasy, but they hit the spot. It comes with a side of ranch or marinara. I opted for the marinara and was a little bummed that the sauce was pretty cold - would have been nice if it was heated. The salad wasn't great. It was pretty close to wilted lettuce with a few tomato slices and cucumbers, plus an exorbitant amount of croutons. Balsamic vinegerette was OK. Pizza toppings are impressive, and I'd for sure go back to try one of those. Service was pretty friendly and they have one of those fancy pop machines so I had a little diet coke lime mixed in with my diet coke.

    Awesome build your own personal pizza place! Customer service was great. Michelle helped me decide on the "big tony". It's nice to have a place where pizza can be made on an individual bases instead of getting a huge pie.

    Really cool concept! My fiancé and I usually don't agree on pizza toppings, especially since I have dietary restrictions. We discovered Solos Pizza Cafe while staying at a nearby hotel....I wish there were more locations across the country! (Or at least everywhere I go, haha) I LOVE that they offer turkey pepperoni- this is very rare for pizza places! Their selection of pizza toppings is fantastic. Their patio is dog-friendly (or at least the employees didn't complain when we ate outside with our pups). As a Chicagoan that is pretty picky about her pizza, I was very pleased with the flavor of this pizza. The sauce is great, and the cheese-to-sauce-to-crust ratio is good. I definitely whole-heartedly recommend Solos Pizza Cafe!

    I love this place, and it's totally worth drive for me from Woodbury. The concept is so clever. My favorite is the White Hen with the basil and sauce, so good.

    Individual sized pizzas and great options for a variety of tastes. Very consistent too. They also recently changed their loyalty program back to emailed coupons instead of points- a smart and appreciated change. For your thirst there is a Freestyle coke machine, Gold Peak iced tea, and a handful of bottled soft drink options. Salads and cookies to round out mealtime.

    I got the master pizza, which was a goods quality pizza. The taste was what I expected and I think the ingredients were of good quality for a pizza place in the price range. there are four pizza choices which are stock on the menu sans meat. The topping list was the standard list of toppings without anything exciting. I also got a great tastes salad which was just as sad as your average pizza place salad. although, I thought the dressing was better than most as it looked fresh made in house. I'm torn between three and four stars but think unless Solo's changes a few things it isn't some place I'll be back to unless I have the urge for pizza and am already in town for something else.

    Great restaurant and excellent pizza. I try and come to Solos often as it's a great pizza place and you can get a quality quick lunch or dinner. The small pizza is just enough to fill you up without leaving you stuffed. The Squawker, Brickhouse and Taco pizzas would be my recommendations. The crust on the pizza is excellent. Definitely check it out, you will love the food.

    I thank this establishment for being generous with the complimentary birthday pizza. I assumed that only a 7 inch was authorized, but to my pleasant surprise, I was allowed to get a 10 inch pizza. I made an original crust with marinara sauce, topped with sausage, bacon and pepperoni. I bought a fountain drink to take advantage of the modern and hip fountain dispenser. It was the first time I had heard of and tried a Seagram's Ale. Thank you, Solo's Eagan!

    Go for the Big Tony if you're looking for a standard pizza. Feeling more adventurous? Try the Bleu Moon. If you want a pizza, but are tired of the chains,Solo's is a good choice. They have variety, with combinations you won't find elsewhere. This isn't a neo style pizza place - you'll wind up with a thick, semi-greasy crust covered with toppings. My impression is that the toppings are higher quality than what you would find at a chain. I will say that they do a good job taking care of their customers. They have taken care of me whenever an order was messed up, and their reward club provides solid coupons via e-mail.

    Everytime I'm with with my brother, the only thing he wants to eat is pizza. So my sister and I are always on the lookout for new pizza eateries to try with him. We heard Solos opened near our house so we decided to give it a try. My brother tried the Big Tony and said he didn't like it. He's a tough one to please though. He thought the pizza dough tasted funny and was "cheap". My sister tried the White Hen and we both thought it was okay. And I tried the Antonio and thought it was okay. The marinara sauce on all of the pizzas could've been better. I didn't have a problem w/the pizza dough as I did w/the marinara sauce, which I found to be cheap tasting (something Little Caesar's would use on their pizza's). We also got the garlic bread puffs to share and it's not worth the extra few bucks. It was just fried hallow dough w/a bit of butter and a splash of salt on it. Overall, I think Red's Savoy down the street is better for the bang. Solos is clean though. And I thought the service was nice. I just wouldn't come back here solely on the cleanliness and friendly service alone.

    Since I live with a bunch of cheese only pizza fans it is nice to have a place that encourages individual pizzas. "You can have your cheese honey.." I'm getting the 10" fatty fatterton style with extra mushrooms! The pizzas are made fresh and there's even a whole wheat crust option. The salads look pretty good too. I have eaten here a few times now and liking it a lot.

    I saw that a Solos Pizza Cafe was opening in our neck of the woods, and I couldn't count down the days fast enough. My husband and I frequented the Maple Grove location when we lived up that way, and I missed not going there as of late. Just my luck - one was opening not too far from us. I went just this evening, and I was a little disappointed by the service/atmosphere there, to be quite honest. I placed my order at 8:20, they closed at 9. They seemed to be overstaffed for that time of day - 2 people behind the counter + supervisor, 3 people on the floor. They were already sweeping up, pulling up the rugs, stacking chairs and continued as I ate. As I filled up my soda, a girl waited patiently right behind me like a hawk with spray bottle in hand to wipe down the soda counter (couldn't you wait, versus rushing me to fill my soda?). Trust me - I appreciate the cleanliness, but stacking every chair at 8:30 but the one you're sitting in makes you feel like you're being kicked out. Not the type of feeling you'd want your establishment to give off during its first week after opening. Besides the overall feeling of being rushed to finish eating in the dining room, the pizza was great. I had The White Hen, a pizza with white garlic sauce, mozzarella, chicken, tomatoes, basil, and (my favorite) artichokes subbed for the standard onions. The pizza "artist" was a bit slow compared to what I'm used to, but I'll cut him some slack for it being the first week and learning the menu. The pizza goes into the oven, and you're given a number to place on your table for when the pizza is ready. It comes out and they brush on a fabulous garlic/oil/butter sauce (I think? Secret recipe, perhaps??) over the outside of the crust. To.die.for! If you're more of the healthier type, you can request they skip this step after it comes out of the oven. Be careful when you reach in the beverage cooler - I accidentally knocked over a couple bottles of milk when I grabbed a drink (then put it back in favor of a fountain drink). The cooler shelves might need guard rails! The chain has a quirky sense of humor in their advertising and signage, so I always have fun going there. Next time, hopefully I won't feel like I'm being kicked out before close - maybe I should arrive a little earlier! Total meal cost for a regular pizza and fountain soda: $7.45

    Great lunch location! They have a pretty good selection of signature personal pizzas and use innovative ingredient combinations. Of course you can be a trailblazer and design your own pizza if you like. The decor is pretty ordinary and doesn't make a great impression. The staff seemed friendly enough, and the pizza was made very quickly. I'll be visiting Solos again.

    One of my favorites. Great personal size pizzas and the "make your own" option is awesome. The staff is really friendly and the owner/manager is out on the floor making sure that everything tastes great and does everything he can to get you back in. (coupons, special offers) Salads are really good as well.

    The pizza here is great and has a wide variety of choices. Definitely my favorite pizza place in the area! I come here fairly regularly for lunch and always get the Master Pizza, but my friends usually get the Ring of Fire or the Brick House. The crust is baked to perfection and is probably my favorite part. Their Mac & Cheese is really good too! If you join their email list they will send you coupons regularly. Also, they have one of the newer Coke machines with 100+ combinations and flavors (Vanilla Cherry Coke Zero anyone?) I love this place and highly recommend people to check it out!

    Tasty, interesting options without being weird. Fairly fast. Kitchen (open air) is a bit dirty and messy. Probably because they're throwing the pizzas together so fast. The bacon spinach salad is especially good. Best for lunch--good combo prices!

    My first impression of Solo's Pizza Café here in Eagan makes me want, very badly, to love this place. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and attentive (I went during lunch hour), the seating is spacious, and the owner/manager literally comes around to every table to ask how things are. The ordering process seems to be trending for pizza places right now...an employee asks you what you want from the signature selection, or you can "make your own" and choose toppings for your gourmet pizza, another employee creates your pizza, it quickly goes into the oven (a standard conveyer pizza oven in this case), pops out the other side and onto a plate, and served immediately, hot and melty. I ordered a White Hen as part of the "pizzas under 500 calories" portion of their menu. Made with a crust sprinkled with oregano, topped with a white garlic sauce, white-meat chicken, tomatoes, onions, and julienne basil, I was expecting a light and crisp flavor. The pizza was okay, don't get me wrong, but at close to $8 dollars for a pizza slightly larger than a personal pan at Pizza Hut, the price was a little hefty. At least if it was closer to a Punch-sized pizza, I'd say it'd be worth about $9-$10. The best part of the pizza was definitely the chicken - it was seasoned very well with probably just salt and pepper, and grilled. I'd call the sauce just "white sauce" because I didn't taste any garlic at all, the onions were grilled pretty well under the heat of the oven, but for some reason the tomatoes still seemed raw - nothing wrong with that in a salad, but you'd expect after going through the oven they'd be cooked a little and releasing some liquid. Most of all, although the basil was freshly julienned, they sprinkled such a small amount on the pizza that it only covered about half of it; sure fresh herbs cost a lot, but you're also charging a lot, so please don't skimp... The service was quick, friendly, and even post order, great. Not many "fast food" places offer to refill your drink for you, and although I rarely ever take advantage of that, it still makes a good impression on me. I'm willing to try something else at Solo's and give them another shot or two, and as I said in the beginning, I really want to like this place, but if you're going to charge the kind of prices you do, you'd better make sure the quality and portion-sizes are up to par.

    Solos features fresh, quick, personal-sized pizzas. Eagan has been missing this variety of restaurant, so welcome Solos! The location is convenient, although I can see parking becoming a bit mushed being surrounded by competing eateries (there's like 11 in a 1-block radius). Not surprisingly, there is no gym nearby. Makes it easier to cram in the calories! The staff is young and eager to please. Tried the garlic bread puffs. They were light, yet doughy. Feed them to drunk people for sobriety or to prevent sickness. The marinara is good ol' marinara. The main sauce choices are the marinara and white garlic. The white garlic is not like alfredo sauce, but thicker - like a hot spread. It coordinated well with my MasterPizza. The crust is pretty good - somewhat 'original' - crisp, but not thin crust. I thought I saw a sign about 'free range' meat, if that's important to people. Overall, a nice pie and a nice atmosphere. Now the salads are my big rav. I really enjoyed my Basil Ranch Cobb Salad. It helped that I've been craving hard-boiled eggs, but have been too lazy to make them. Way to save the day Solos! The small portion size works great with a small pizza AKA 'The Solos Double'. I was full and still had part of my pizza left! Hats off to Solos!
