Good sandwiches. Quick and friendly service. A good place for a quick lunch. I had the turkey and avocado sandwich.

Not much to it, just really great sandwiches! Open late, they deliver and don't forget the guts (yummy bread bits)

I LOVE e&g pretty cheap, home made bread, and you actually feel like your eating something healthy! delicious quality subs

To an extent, Erbert and Gerbert's is the biggest rip-off since Webster. The mayo-drenched sandwiches they serve are nearly identical to the chain down the street that makes subs so fast you'll freak, kind of the same way Emmanuel Lewis and Gary Coleman (I'm tipping out some of my green tea in your memory) are interchangeable plot points. The Boney Billy? It may as well be called the Turkey Tom. The Flash? It's simply another name for the Italian Night Club. Comet Candy? It's just another Billy Club. The key differentiating point is the bread Erbert and Gerbert's uses is a bit softer and they hollow out the inside of the sandwich, so it's a little less bready. And as an added bonus, they serve fairly decent soups. However, being the Midwest there are more creamy options than brothy ones. It's not a bad sandwich. But it's not as creative as the stories in the store would lead you to believe.

They are certainly better than Subway, and they deliver to the Holiday Inn. Late! What more can I say? At certain times (of the night), nothing beats Erbs & Gerbs. You could do a lot worse, but don't confuse them with a New York deli or an old school sub shop and you won't be disappointed.

We're driving from Minneapolis in a blizzard just before Christmas. We're in that feared and loathed time of the early afternoon where we need food, didn't eat lunch, can't wait til dinner, want something yummilicious and fast. YES! Let's DRIVE to E+Gs! We only got stuck in the snow for about 5 minutes, but we got a solid 7.5 minutes of lip-smacking, hungry-monkey munching some fabulous sandwiches. I get the Narmer most often. The story behind the sandwiches is cute, that you get bread innards is cuter, and that the whole thing is fantastically tasty, consistently fresh, and an absolute BARGAIN* is incredible. My husband asks to come here every time we're in the hometown. * - don't forget, I'm a New Yorker. Any lunch under $15 is a bargain where I'm from.

This place disgusts me. I cannot stand the amount of mayo they slop on their sandwiches.. It completely kills it for me. Plus their turkey tastes funky! The bread is OK, the price is alright, but man...that mayo!

This place is to die for. Great selection of sandwiches and soups, and very creative packaging and decor. I love the Jacob Bluefinger sandwich and would eat several a week when I lived in Duluth. Now whenever I visit Duluth a trip to Erbs and Gerbs is my first priority! There are also other locations throughout MN and WI. Friendly delivery drivers, worth the standart 45 minute wait. Catering available. Very affordable, very tasty, be prepared to become and addict!

Great sandwiches, for cheap! This place is awesome if you are looking for a quick bite to eat. The delivery is usually very speedy. The Flash is my go to sandwich. They also offer many side dishes such as soup, which I have never tried. I have tried their cookies though, which are delicious!

Used to go here, or have delivered, all the time when I was in college. Back then I would always get the Jacob Bluefinger vegetarian sandwich - - (poor college kid). But this past time we visited Duluth, we made a quick stop here. Needed to grab a quick sandwich before heading onto the road - - and didn't want the doggies to wait outside in the freezing car for too long. I had the "Flash" - - capicola, salami, and ham. Very good... just enough olive oil drizzled on the sandwich. And i forgot that they scoop out the "inner" bread guts and place in the wrap too. Husband loved his sandwich. Now talks about how he wants to go back again, and is bummed that we hadn't gone there before. (Sorry! can't remember what his sandwich was....) But we'll be back.

Love there sandwiches! Always had good customer service. Only issues I've had is other customers but that's nothing on them. So sad I don't have a Erbert & Gerberts in Michigan.
