Fast, cheap, delicious chinese food. We always get the General Tsao and the cream cheese wontons. I really like the chicken chow mein and sweet and sour chicken combo too!

This restaurant uses MSG and, contrary to what our waitress says, I get very ill when I have this chemical. China Cafe uses it in most of the food they prepare on sight except the steamed vegetables. If you have a problem with it you have limited options for other things to eat. I had the hamburger which is purchased from the restaurant supplier. My husband had the Moo Goo Gai Pan with an egg roll. He said the egg roll was pretty good and the entree was above average.

Food is just so so. We ordered 6 dishes and one soup. All taste the same and looked same! A bit disappointed!

My favorite Asian food spot in Duluth, when it comes to take out. You can order ahead of time, however; wait time isn't too long when you walk-in. I recommend trying the "spicy salt pepper chicken wings" if you like salty-spicy food :). Very tasty! The Fried Rice is also pretty good with your choice of meat.

im am a fan of their honey walnut shrimp and the cream cheese won tons. they are delicious! we have always appreciated the fast delivery service and their generous portions. be aware, the staff is not so kind and slow clearing the table. they are not very accommodating.

Massive portions, had the cantonese chow mein which was unique and good, vegetable chow mein was dissappinting with lots of green pepper that overpowed everything. Ginger beef was fantastic and we also really enjoyed the beef fried rice. It was "old fashioned" fried rice, nice and dark with lots of flavor not the usual chinese buffet style rice you see everywhere. The rice was truly awesome. We also had the homemade eggrolls and wished we had ordered more as they are some of the best ive had. Ive eaten here twice and will definately eat here again. Not a fancy place, very reasonable pricing. The above items fed my family of 5 and had a ton left over. Enjoy.

I ordered the Orange Chicken lunch special, for less than 8 bucks I got two meals worth and a yummy egg roll. Haven't eaten Chinese in Duluth since Beijing closed, but China Cafe makes a great substitute! Good food, quick take out (walked in, placed my order and was out of there within 10 minutes) and really nice staff!

Besides the food was decent. But when I asked kung pao chicken extra hot, there was kind of the same.

Fast, friendly service. Tasty, albeit *salty* food. Server said I can ask for lower salt in future. Exterior unkempt. They need to pull weeds, sweep up.

Fast carry out. Decent food, good price. Food was a little salty but they had great tofu dishes. My Chinese parents were satisfied enough which is saying a lot!

Decent Chinese restaurant owned and operated by Chinese....I must say, that I was surprised to see, but then again...maybe not. A late night getting acquainted with the area, my cousin and I were hungry and quite frankly the only place even opened until 10pm was Chinese. Go figure right? So here's the breakdown... We ordered a tofu dish (request not spicy...and hold the oils if all possible) and then a vegetable fried rice. I saw others order it and requested to use less oil which they did. Even though it was almost closing, they didn't run us out the building and were very friends. Perhaps because we spoke Chinese? Even when Domino's closes...you always have fast food chinese. My stomach was saved with only 1/2 the usual amount of grease in my fried rice. I would definitely go back when if I make a visit out to see my cousin again.

We live 150 miles from delivery Chinese so we always have delivery Chinese at least once whenever we're in DLH and we always call China Cafe. It doesn't matter how many extra 'spicies' we add to the order of General's Tso's Chicken they just don't trust WE ACTUALLY MEAN IT. But the fried rice and lo mein are excellent. I heartily recommend this Chinese restaurant for your fix. Very consistent.

I recommend their fried rice, my boyfriend is a huge fan. The prices are great here and the portions are really really large!. The establishment doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you enter it is bright and clean with lots of seating space. The egg rolls are great, my suggestion is to mix the duck sauce and spicy mustard as a dipping sauce (both at the table) but watch out the mustard is crazy hot!

My husband and I come here pretty often as this is our first choice for Chinese in Duluth. The service is somewhat questionable, as the hostess usually is pretty short in patience but the food has always been good and their fried rice (chicken and pork, anyway) has always been awesome. Best cream cheese wontons around (Duluth)!

Terribly slow delivery! Took an hour and a half to receive my order! Food tasted okay though.

This place has pretty good Chinese food. My boyfriend loved the General Tso's Chicken I got. It was so good to him that he wanted to go back again the next day for a double order! We also had fried wontons and chicken wings that were not too bad. We went here for lunch, so we got a meal deal. I wasn't terribly impressed with the fried rice or egg rolls. They seemed run-of-the-mill to me. The lo mein he got was not the best I've ever had, but overall it was OK. Other aspects of the restaurant: The service was good, the menu was expansive with lots of choices to be had, and the actual physical restaurant was pretty decent compared to most of the Chinese restaurants I've been in. If I had a hankering for Chinese in Duluth, I might go here again. But since there are so many other good restaurants around that area, I'd probably go somewhere else for different fare.

Totally unassuming Chinese restaurant. They have big portions and delivery!

The China Cafe has a great menu. I recommend the Moo Shu (but insist on more pancakes). The service is great; the people who run this place are very nice. The price is very reasonable. They are not flexible about keeping animal flesh and animal products (like eggs) out of their dishes. Really, how hard can it be to not add eggs to the moo shu or to substitute broccoli for the chicken in an entree? I would have given the China Cafe five stars if they offered more animal-free dishes.

Generous portions. Food was good but not great. Service (waitress) was fair at best. I'll try someplace else next time.

I ordered chop suey, and it was terrible! The food was cold, hardly any meat, tons of celery, took for ever to receive, and over priced. Save your money folks.

Good and fast delivery service. Great generals chicken, but the triple delight was heavy on the celery. I would recommend this place to my friends.
