Have been up here for week of fishing. Food is excellent. Like the grilled walleye on cranberry toast and the grilled salmon. People were great.

The menu looked good, and the food is decent, but the service during our visit was very slow. Entrées took 45 minutes for lunch with a medium crowd, and our server forgot two of the six we ordered, so we had to wait another twenty minutes for those. What should have been a 30- to 40-minute lunch took an hour and a half. The Landing isn't cheap either. Lunch for four adults and two kids (with a couple of drinks) came to $180 with tax and tip.

The new managers changed the menu and the look. Not the Landing of old. The last thing someone wants when coming in from a day of fishing? A super long wine list and a limited choice of food. Had 2 sodas and left. Don't bother, go to the other spot in town. You will be much happier. They get 1 star for fee WiFi.

Was very disappointed with my last experience here. Waited over an hour after ordering a cheeseburger and fries and still no food. One guy had sat down next to us, ordered, eaten, paid and left and we still hadn't received our food. We got fed up, paid for our drinks and walked out. The waitress gave us a poor excuse. I could have understood if it was busy, but it wasn't. We went to a restaurant right down the road and had our food in front of us within 12 minutes of ordering. Made it just before the kitchen closed.

Disappointed. The new owners do not seem like they know what they are doing. Learning on the job is no longer an option in today's economy. Basic training in restaurant operations is required. Also, they had free WI-FI Memorial Weekend 2014 and now they don't want to give out the password. ??? Plus 4G is too weak in the bar area to use. I hope they are not blocking access?? We will be going home without stopping back-in. Shame. We hope they use the winter to plan improvements.

Landing has install a separate WIFI specifically for guest, no password. Works great, open Thursday thru Sunday in the Winter.
