I did not have the same experience as the other two reviewers... or perhaps I didn't notice. I have been to Jimmy Johns a few times in Texas, but took my parents as first-timers to Jimmy Johns here in MN. I personally think the bread alone knocks the socks off of Subway. It looks, smells and tastes like homebaked bread should be... it is not in a squished shape like Subway rolls can be sometimes. If you are looking for a place where you pick your toppings one by one and you watch them craft your sandwich for you... Subway is your place. But if you are adventurous enough to pick from thier sandwiches on the menu, you are in for a treat. My favorite is the Italian Night Club. There are what seems to be 3-5 different meats in there, all carved in the store. Also, there is one side of the menu where they are light on the meat, and the other side of the menu where they incorporate double the meat. The italian night club is from the latter. It also has a wonderful oil sauce and the veggies are always fresh. The taste of this sandwich will keep me coming back and overlooking subway every time--- and my parents agree! They also feature kettle chips in various flavors to side-carte with your sandwich. Added bonus for witty signs in the establishment.

How many people does it take to make a sandwich at Jimmy Johns? I always wonder how they can afford to have that many people standing around getting my order wrong. I have learned to combat this by always ordering online even if I am eating in the restaurant, that way there is a paper trail when they screw up and I don't have to try to talk over the 10 people behind the counter and the stereo that is too loud for a place where they are taking custom orders all the time. And why is delivery not an option for me? My phone application says I live 1.95 miles from my local Jimmy Johns and we are not talking gridlocked Seattle/California/NYC traffic here. But that is too far to travel, probably because ankle monitors have a certain cutoff distance Luckily once I get my sandwich that I ordered online to minimize human involvement, it doesn't taste half bad, not enough to warrant a second star, but enough that in a pinch I would eat one again

I have been ordering delivery from Jimmy Johns for quite a while now, and they have always been fast and friendly. The food is always awesome, and made to our specifications.

I had the same experience as Jen did when coming in to grab a sandwich. I thought it was just because I was the only one in the store at the time, but I did feel pressured to make a fast decision. Jimmy Johns - i don't know - just don't get the whole concept in general - the sandwiches are blah - I was getting a ride after dropping my car off at the dealer for service - and didn't have a lot of options and didn't want to inconvenience anyone. Anyways - got a turkey tom w/ avo - I had them add cucumbers, and then i asked for red peppers as well - but apparently that is extra .. . .anyways, I love me some veggies and will next time be going to subway when i need a sandwich where I can get veggies galore. Taste wise - it was okay - nothing great, nothing that makes me want to run back to Jimmy Johns, but really if you haven't been there at least once you may have been living under a log?

I love Jimmy Johns, but this one took far too long to deliver my order. My order took over 45 minutes (seriously, subs so slow I freak). I will add one star because my delivery driver was incredibly kind ,but I have never ordered jimmy johns and had it take any longer than 15 - 20 minutes.

Expect when you enter this Jimmy Johns to be BOMBARDED with the large staff calling the following out to you, simultaneously: "HEY, HOW ARE YA!" "NICE TO SEE YA!" "HOW'S IT GOING?!" "WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE?" literally from the first footfall into the store, they are already screaming out to you 'WHAT CAN I MAKE FRESH FOR YOU TODAY?!?!?!?!?!" if you want to peruse the menu, 10 staff members will be staring at you from behind the counter. when you finally leave with your sandwich, the large staff call the following out to you, simultaneously: "SEE YOU LATER NOW!" "BYE BYE BYE!" "COME AGAIN REAL SOON!" "HEY, THANKS!" it's exhausting. i just want a goddamn sandwich.
