Had dinner at Hassie's last Saturday evening and was very pleased with everything. There were four of us and each person ordered a different entree - beef stroganoff, BBQ ribs, pot pie and the pork loin. All our meals were excellent!! Service was great! All our drinks were delivered quickly and water glasses promptly refilled. Food was delivered quickly and it was delicious. We were all very pleased with everything about this restaurant - food, service and price. I will be back!

Really unfriendly and annoyed waitress... Upon walking in, we got no smile, we got an, I quote, "sit any where." And the attitude that came with that was quite surprising. We sat down, when she took our order, still an attitude and not once did she smile the whole time...to be honest it was very uncomfortable, it felt like you were at a friends house as a kid and your friends parents are fighting but are still obligated to entertain you. The food was ok, nothing special. I do have to say I won't go back because of the unfriendly service. It was extremely awkward... To the point we left early.. Not impressed.. Was looking for a regular place to eat... This is not the place.

I went with my mother-in-law and she had the Gorgonzola cheese bread and that was really good. My MIL wanted the recipe and the chef actually did come out and talk to her about it. I had a sandwich and it was also good. I think they've updated their patio, it was basically just some chairs in the grass when we were there, but I think it now has a fence.

I stopped in to take a break from driving and to watch overtime of USA Canada gold medal hockey. Hassies is fun, with the exception of the loud country music. It's a saloon though so I don't think it is a big deal. I had a club sandwich with home made chips that were very tasty. They have a 2 pound burger that is crazy. I tried it once and barely finished half. This is a fun place with reasonable prices.

Steak was ordered medium rare and it came out barely rare. Kinda like meat flavored chewing gum. The 12 oz ribeye was around 5 oz of fat. Servers don't know how to operate the IPad cash register so you'll have to wait or help them out. Don't let their billboard fool you. Brainerd has many more options a few minutes away.

Pretty good. I had the macaroni and cheese of the day with prime rib and mushrooms in it. The noodles were a tad overdone but the flavors were fantastic. The jalapeno corn bread had a wonderful sweet flavor with a kick to it. Service was friendly. I'd go again.
