Good food...great atmosphere...DJ after 930pm. Our waitress was great...VERY attentive! Had good recommendations for food! First thing...you get a bowl of popcorn! I love love popcorn, so I was happy with this lil perk! Walleye Fingers for an appetizer...these were delicious! Turkey & Wild Rice Soup...it was good..not my favorite but it had good flavor! Ribs, Tator Tots...good flavor! Tator Tots were a little over cooked.

I did not know what to expect before coming to Lucky's and it was completely average fair. I guess for a pub you can't expect excellent food, but they should at least have bomb burgers. My dad ordered a patty melt and was utterly disappointed. My dad loves his patty melts and said that this may have been the worst one he has ever had. Very disappointing when considering that this place is know for their burgers. I ordered the pub salad soaked in fatty dressing and lacking shrimp. I did love the popcorn they served instead of bread! It was amazing. Service was also very speedy which is great!

I came here to eat on the outdoor patio. I had to try the famous tater tots. They were good but not as amazing as they're hyped up to be. They're huge! Not your average tater tot. They have cheese inside and comes with a sauce to dip in. Would I order it again? Probably not but I'm glad I tried them. I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger which was okay. It had no sauce..no ketchup or anything, so it lacked flavor. The nice thing was that when I asked to share the burger with my mom, they cut the meal in half. We also ordered the Jalapeño margarita...spicy! Just one sip and you get a kick in your throat. Something strange was that our server didn't bring me the check. Instead she grabbed my card and brought back the final receipt for me to sign and tip. I wish I could have looked over the check before giving my card.. But I mean, isn't that how it's suppose to be?

I came here with a book club group. Funny how that always rouses the appetite, all that brain energy, at least with this club. We got seated as they were starting bingo. Some lucky fuck walks out with over $1000, that got my interest. I got the Buffalo shrimp po boy. That was damn good. I was getting in bites between bingo numbers. I had the timing down pat even though I looked like an imbecile. The coleslaw is pretty detestable, but I always find a way to make food work. I had a huge side of blue cheese dressing sitting there. I add it to the slaw and gobbled the whole thing. We had an awesome waiter, handled a crowd great, always on hand too. I love this location cause it's away from the other chains in this area.

Big portions and lots of choices are the headlines for this bustling pub serving a wide variety of burgers and sandwiches. We stopped in recently for a late lunch and the place was still busy even at 1:30. Help yourself to free popcorn while you wait but be careful it's addictive and the portions here are pretty big. Service was good too. We will definitely be back.

Waitstaff was very nice, could have checked in more often though. Management was disrespectful and demonstrated poor customer service. One table complained that the music was too loud so they turned it OFF. I asked the waitstaff several times to turn it back on softly and the manager responded to me that he "couldn't please everyone" but the table was leaving soon and they are would turn it back on once they left....... They stayed for another 45+ minutes and even gabbed by the entrance after the music was back on. We would have stayed longer had the management compromised. Last time I checked this is America and not communist Russia

Food is very good, nice selection of beers. L13 tater tots are to die for. I liked the place but got the impression that much of the staff was disinterested as on my 2 visits they had to be chased down for refills and the bill both times.

Foods ok. Waiting sucks. To loud. Tables are usually sticky and to close to others. Ive had rude servers.

The place is over-priced. The food at the bloomington location is really crappy. Go to the luckys in Mendota on hwy13 aka Sibley. The food at that location is much much better. We live in bloomington and drive to Mendota rather than go to the bloomington location. Bloomington also had crappy beer selection and way too expensive for crap beer. I'm used to getting great local craft beers for $3 at pinstripes, cafe maude and red cow.

Greay place so glad our hotel was so close. Packed on wed so obviously it was the place. Everyone happy and noted alot of repeated business. I travel for a living and i eat all over the country and I'm the first to say what's great or not...this will be a definite go to probably tomorrow and every time i come here.

Atmosphere was great, and staff was friendly, but a group of old farts wanted the music turned off on the patio and even though everyone else was enjoying it, they accommodated. When we asked if they could please turn it back on softly, we were told "you can't please everyone, they'll be cashing out soon and we'll turn it back on"..... they didn't leave for at least another 45 mins. We ended up cashing out and leaving at the same time they did. Most likely would've stayed longer, if they would've just compromised.

I came here for a lunch and the food was so-so. the service was good and we had salads to try for a healthy lunch. There's a lot of TV's and the Stanley Cup semi finals were on, so this fit the bill. Unfortunately, we came back and somehow caught late evening crowd. Let's just say, it's probably not a place anyone who knew this area of Minneapolis would recommend. We outran the (Scientific name) puma concolor this particular evening, which was a lame experience. Odd find.

It is a very spacious restaurant and bar. We were there for bingo night so they had high tops to the right as you walk in and tables to the left for regular dining. The high tops were perfect for a big group. I only tried their drinks which were great! Bingo was also a lot of fun, you can hear the numbers well but they do go quite fast so not much time to chat when playing. After bingo, they brought on the DJ which was fun. They played all types of music but we didn't stay long enough of the dance floor to open up. This is a great place to go for dinner, happy hour, bingo, get together with friends, etc. Their bathrooms are so accommodating, with diapers and wipes on their changing table for the babies, nice sinks, makes me feel like I was at a 5 star hotel. They also had a free transportation service later on at night that takes you anywhere within a few miles for free so you can drink and dance the night away. Not sure how often they provide that but that was a nice touch to an already great place! They have plenty of parking in their private lot as well.

Friendly servers, that don't intrude too much. I love their giant pretzel and have tried a variety of other appetizers and sandwiches. They are always so close to being good, but there is always something missing, whether it is a sauce or a spice or a bit more flavor. Their menu is very large so I intend on trying more. I always seem to end up here when nothing else is calling my name, and to hang out friends on occasion. Overall, it's a decent restaurant.

Lucky's 13 has the best burger menu around. We've ordered at work for take-out a few times, and everyone has loved their picks. The bison burger is delicious, and I've been told the cheese curd burger and mac & cheese burgers are killer, too. The tater tots are the BEST I've had- cheesy and delicious. The onion rings kind of fell apart, but were still good. Big portions, yummy food.

My partner and I decided to try breakfast at Lucky 13 in Bloomington. I ordered a burger hollandaise and my partner ordered a breakfast scramble. The wait staff were very efficient and attentive without being intrusive. My burger hollandaise turned out to be sausage, not a hamburger. I found the dish to be loaded with salt. My partner's dish was also loaded with salt. His comment was that he needed a shower in his mouth to get rid of the salt taste. The hash brown potatoes were mushy and not very crisp. The monkey bread was good. It was slathered In a caramel sauce. It's unlikely we'll go back due to the over salting of both dishes.

    I have been here several times. My girlfriends and I love this place on winter Saturday afternoons for BINGO! Yes I love that stupid game - most rounds are one buck per card/sheet/whatever they call them and yes I actually won once which I know has nothing to do with Lucky's. The bingo is run by a separate for charity type business. Service is typically very good and parking is good - nice large off street lot. Food is luckluster but adequate. Think typical sports bar food but with better variety. Trouble is the quality of the food is hit or miss. We used to LOVE the wild rice walleye eggrolls but lately they've sucked. I used to love the fish tacos but TWICE they were full of bones so I'm done with that. Lately we've been splitting appetizers or more recently I had the soup which was good but my half ham sandwich was aw-ful. I must say they make a consistently great bloody mary. Atmosphere is great, can be loud. I do like this place, don't love it but we keep coming back for the bingo;

It seems as though Yelp has not updated or the restaurant hasnt updated their page on here that Burnsville Mall now has a Lucky 13 location. I took hubby and our girls out for lunch on Sunday for Father's Day. They were already hopping at 11:50am. I kind of assumed that would be the case. Two of our kids ordered a burger and loved them. One daughter ordered the turkey burger said it was yummy - hubby had the cuban but said that the bread was hard and the meat was dry. I had the Veggie Burger and added guac - it was delicious. I ordered the sweet potato fries, I do not ever use salt and they needed salt ALOT of salt and they were kind of hard - seems like they came out too early - not cold but too hard - does that make sense? All in all, service was good. Lots of staff moving around very fast and with it being so loud in there, it was not a place to have a relaxling Sunday lunch. Its also hard to tell who is staff and who is a customer. The place is just so busy and with no uniforms or T-shirts - random people come to clear your table and you dont know if its the guy at the next table grabbing for left overs or the manager. The staff made it seem more hectic than it was. With that, I would go back. Even though lunch with 3 kids and my husband with no alcohol was about $100.00 Seems like a spendy lunch at the mall.

In the category of cheap-ish bar food, this is pretty good. The menu is huge so there is something for everyone. It's better than chain places and they have a nice selection of beer. Servers are nice and friendly. It's nothing special but it's better than Applebee's.

Sat outside on the patio after catching some softball games at the local middle school. Bar BINGO was going on inside, so it was pretty loud (and surprisingly dark). Ordered a tall beer (Fulton Sweet Child of Vine)--decent beer menu, although not extensive. For dinner I had the Stacked Club sandwich and french fries. Sandwich was fine but fries were cold. They had these cheesy icicle lights in the trees (in May) that looked pretty tacky. Fine experience, just won't be seeking it out my next trip to the area.

I gave two stars for the nice waitress and patio seating. I wasn't impressed with the food. I guess it is bar food but still... I ordered Shepard' pie and it was awful. I had two bites and couldn't eat any more. The waitress was nice enough to take it off my bill. Lettuce wrap was just ok.

They say hunger makes the tastiest food but even with an empty stomach the food served at this establishment is terrible. Over cooked chicken tenders and a salad that if fed to hogs would generate animal welfare complaints. Perhaps if one were on a desert island as a contestant on Naked and Afraid, an edible meal could be found here. But I dare say, even in those conditions, one should be afraid to eat a meal here.

Great Ribs! Oh, man. I love their ribs. Perfect. Fall off the bone, slathered in sauce. Grab a beer and the ribs. You'll have a great time. Perfect place to check out some suburban people not so far from the city. Nice atmosphere. Nice people. Great bartenders. Love this place. Good memories.

The cucumber basil cocktail is refreshing and delicious, however the food isn't worth it. Their crafted cocktails are usually pretty good, and have good specials on weekends. Be sure to know that the bar closes at 1AM so plan accordingly. They give you complimentary popcorn, nibble on that and save your money on the appetizers. I got the lunch combo and combined the reuben with the french onion soup. The soup tasted and looked like the 'crouton' had been sitting in their forever, and was separated and disintegrating in the soup. I am a girl who loves cheese, but I was gagging. The reuben was ALL meat, which would have been good if it was lean, but it was fatty. They also used cheddar cheese which I thought was weird. The sauerkraut just tasted like cold cabbage...weird. I like going for drinks, but wouldn't return for the food.

Had a very disappointing and expensive meal at Lucky's 13 in Bloomington. I think the price was harder to swallow than the food. I don't have high expectations for a burger joint, but at $13 a pop I expect at least some flavor. Even my 10 year old asked to add salt to his burger. We had good service and enjoyed ourselves, but the food quality was way over priced, over $100 for a family of 4.

Lucky's 13 is a reasonable option for those in search of a local sports bar. Plenty of big screens at all angles. The place can accommodate big crowds. And they don't hassle you for splitting the bill individually. More generally, service is adequate. Food is apparently not bad either... so long as you have carnivorous tendencies or just prefer typical bar food. Being a finicky eater, I stray from these options. And, I have had luck finding non-traditional yet crave-worthy bar food at other pubs (i.e. Lyndale Tap, Schueller's). Alas, Lucky's 13 will not join these ranks. On my visit, I opted for a salad instead: Dine-o-mite, which included chicken, cranberries, pecans, wild rice, and a honey-dijon-ish dressing. Not bad. Just kinda lame. Nothing I'd come back for. I did not enjoy the lettuce mix used, which seemed like it came from one of those pre-packaged plastic bags of lettuce with shredded carrots and cabbage. And the ratio of lettuce to red onion was approximately 1:1. The red onions were unavoidable and appeared in every forkful. Avoid any romantic encounters after this salad. Not only was the salad disappointing, but it was not cheap either (maybe because it has chicken on top?). Again, if I were a burger-phile, I might have a different opinion on Lucky's 13. For those who choose to go the burger route, they do offer some reasonably priced specials. At least on a Monday night, the Juicy Lucy (or as they refer to their's, the Juicy Lu Lu) was only $7 and included fries. And, while not on special, the soft pretzel was a spectacle to order. It is enormous, enough to almost stick your head through once you eat out the inner criss cross, and it arrives at your table on a meat hook-type contraption. I'm not in a hurry to return, though I wouldn't be strongly opposed if a group of my friends in the Bloomington area wanted to unwind after a day of work with a few drinks in this buzzing neighborhood bar.

I've came here for lunch a few times and sat at the bar. The large man bartender is very attentive and very nice, I once had a woman bartender there and she couldn't give me the time of day which made me late for class- thanks! I get the crock of French onion soup every time now, it has really nice spices and flavors and is practically a meal in itself. I am however voracious and order something else to go with it. -Kobe beef sliders are a win!! - do not order the prime rib French dip, if you're accustomed to good French dips this one will definitely disappoint and the horseradish sauce is basically mayo. - drunken burger is great!! Love the flavors, they really do have great burgers here I will be trying more. Also happy hour on Mondays has Juicy Lucy's for I think $7 so I want to make it to that sometime. - I've gotten the regular fries twice and the sweet potato fries once now and don't recommend any of them. They always came out floppy and greasey. Prices are exactly to be expected from here- I'll be back for lunch again and hope to get the large man bartender again.

We came in around 11:00am on a Sunday. It took almost 10 minutes for the hostess to acknowledge and seat us. Our server was nice, but she wasn't very good. I had a sunrise burger that comes with an over easy egg... but it wasn't over easy. The tater tots I paid an extra dollar for instead of fries were bland and had a weird texture. It's worth noting that the menu says that the tater tots are what they are known for. The rest of our party had simalir expereinces with their food. We don't be going back.

We checked out Lucky's for a family gathering with out-of-towners. The location of this restaurant is not helping its business I'm sure. It took us a few twists and turns to find it. Walking in, the first thing you'll notice is how ridiculously dark it is. It was laughable, especially at our table. It was difficult to check out the burger I ordered to see if it was cooked properly. I ordered a blue cheese burger, jucy-lucy style as they claimed. It was a pretty poor attempt at a stuffed burger. The cheese was non-existent. I just had a well-done meat patty with a pocket of air in the middle which I'm assuming was supposed to house the cheese. The sweet potato fries were basic and I cannot recommend them. The service was actually great and they kept our drinks full throughout the meal. If they could just up the quality of their ingredients, the effort from the kitchen and the lighting, they'd have a decent place to get a bite.

Came in on a slow Thursday night. Food was great as was the bar back Joe. Bri, who was supposed to be our bartender, spent her time talking with some guy on the other side of the bar, ignoring all other customers. We would have left but Joe took great care of us--taking all of our orders and making sure our food tasted great. This is not the first time that we have had terrible service by Bri but it will be our last.

Lucky 13's has awesome atmosphere, decent pub food and somewhat spotty service. I prefer it to a local cowboy joint save for the price, but the waiters are scarce. The patio is super nice though, with an outdoor fireplace, and it makes for a good happy hour location. They also go all out decorating for holidays which is fun! Overall id reccommend it for groups, but not say a date. And certainly i wouldnt suggest it if youre short on time, you are at your servers pace at this location, whethers its lunch, dinner or happy hour.

I was looking for a late night bite. Many TV's and great environment. A bit on the pricey side $12 for a chicken quesadilla. Ingredients were very fresh and the side salsa and quac was good as well

Every time I come here the food is pretty good. I have yet to experience the bar here at night however during bingo on Saturday and Sunday mornings it seems pretty happening. Actually met my wife back here back when it was called Bennigan's. The remodel since then has been phenomenal. It's very much like a community bar where there's like a big bar in the middle with different sections with different types of ambience.

Great sports bar. Great Music. Good location. Lots of TV's. the food is excellent! This location is just as charming as the one in Mendota. They have a lot of beer, liquor and food options. Everyone should like something at Lucky's. Ashley provided us with exquisite service. I would hope any server I have in the metro is as fabulous. I highly recommend Lucky's!

Good sports bar scene. It was hopping with people on a Saturday night and a prime place to watch a game or have a drink and large portions of hearty food.

It's bar food, so my expectations are low. The food was ok, though I do love the popcorn. I have a thing for popcorn. The only complaint I have is that the pulled pork is much to vinegary. The coleslaw helps some, but not much. Ask for barbecue sauce to kill the vinegar, and it makes the sandwich better. Not sure if we'll be back anytime soon. This was the second time I've been here in three years.

Have eaten at Lucky 13 a few times along with the one in Plymouth. Have never been too impressed with the food. Dry burgers with not much flavor and had the pork sandwich, which had far too much vinegar in it. Couldn't eat it. Great place for happy hour, but if you want a good meal, I would recommend eating elsewhere.

Boo, they overcharged me on the last visit. We waited so long for our food that our server brought us some complimentary cheese curds but alas, we were billed for them. .

I was able to order a Togo Order. It was a late Friday night, and I called the order in. The lady that answered the phone was very pleasant and helpful. She stated my order would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived in 21 minutes and my order was ready for pick -up. The waitress checked my order , it was incorrect , allowed me to keep the mistake, corrected the order in less than 5 minutes, and I was on my way! Oh Yes, LUCKY 13 and customer service has got it rocking! The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is I would rather powder sugar instead of salt on a monte crisco and $11 for a sandwich is a little high for my standards.

  • Trey C.

Good beer selection, food is pretty good pub fare but the service was a bit slow, though courteous. Music was WAY too loud, unnecessarily so, as it just detracted from the experience.

  • Melyssa M.

Wow, the hostess is wearing such incredibly short shorts that when ever she wipes a table her butt cheeks are hanging out. She keeps adjusting them by putting her hands between her legs and up her crotch to pull them down. Totally inappropriate for a restaurant, I don't care how casual it is! The food is good but this was totally distracting. This was at the new Burnsville location, but must not be on yelp yet.

I was trying to put my finger on what it is about this place after I got home. Then it hit me. Imagine going to a slightly more modern Champp's and being served food from the Bulldog. And that's pretty much Lucky's 13. The lot was jam packed but inside was not as crowded as I expected. May have been from other businesses? Point being, don't let that necessarily drive you away. I brought a group of coworkers there from out of town and it turned out to be a good choice. Good menu with a lot of options that can please just about anyone. Frankly I think the menu is a bit much, would prefer more specialties but that's just me. I was in a burger mood so I ordered the Hickory. Good burger. Nothing outstanding, but a good, solid burger. Some of the dishes that my coworkers ordered looked even better and they were happy with their meals.

I took customers out here for dinner and drinks. We sat outside on the patio, even though it was somewhat threatening rain. It turned out to be a great evening. Our waitress Lauren was hopping and fast. Great huge portions on everyone's entree including my Monte Cristo shown in the pics. We got a huge nacho appetizer that was also excellent. Highly recommend the food and the service and the ambience!

My first visit to Lucky's 13 in two words: delightfully surprised! From my perch at the bar, the noise level was definitely a buzz but not too loud to prevent carrying on a conversation. The bartenders were super friendly and accommodating. I think this could be my "go to" place after work in Bloomington. The menu is huge, lots of burger and sandwich choices. I'd come back & give the salad menu a try. The food: the Fish & Chip bites were a good start, I'm a fan of fresh cut fries, they remind me of being a kid. My Lucky 13 burger was juicy and flavorful, I liked the combo of bacon, peppadew, sweet onion & cheddar. My only criticism would be the sweet potato fries...they need to be served with something to dip. Ketchup doesn't mesh with sweet potato fries in my world. I thoroughly enjoyed the few bites I snuck from my dinner mate's plate of the Moux Choi Pasta. It was deliciously creamy and spicy.

great drinks, substandard food. I had the salmon and it was undercooked. The french fries were the same as what I can buy in the grocery store. I can go to Perkins and get the same food.

Went here with a larger group from work. Nice big menu, had a shard time choosing. Went with the Prime Rib French Dip (per server recommendation) and it was very good. Service was good and very quick. Only complaint was that it was pretty loud, which made it hard to have a table conversation.

I have been to Lucky's many times either for drinks or for dinner or lunch. It appears that they have changed their menu and removed some items that were quite good and just kept burgers, sandwiches and bar food. Their food is good and enjoyable and the staff is friendly. If you are sitting at the bar and Briana is working, move to the other end of the bar where she is not. She is slow and more interested in serving the wait staff at the end of the bar and making sure her breasts are heaving out of her shirt. Ten minutes to get the check and another fifteen for her to take the credit card and run it and we were sitting next to the register and printer.

A few of my friends were trying to find an after work meeting spot that worked for all of us and someone mentioned Lucky's. 3 out of the 4 of us got lost trying to find it. GPS was not the most help, it told the 3 of us that it was located at the middle of an intersection, not so much. It is behind a few car dealerships. We were seated right away in a booth, which is nice and our food care out quickly. Our waitress was not very friendly and she seemed like she did not want to be there. She kept throwing things at our table, but rarely asked if we wanted anything. The food was okay, nothing too special. They have huge portions for their sandwiches, burgers and entrees. I had the veggie burger and it was good, but extremely messy since it kept falling apart as I ate it. I have been to their Mendota location and the service was better and it was a little brighter inside.

You probably wouldn't know it from my reviews here on Yelp, but I generally attempt to live a low-carb lifestyle. There are many restaurants where I do not even attempt to eat remotely healthy (think: dedicated burger joints, BBQ, pizza, etc.). But for a mid-week lunch at a spot like Luckys 13, I'm usually looking to dial it in with a salad. Because hey, The Wolfpack doesn't think me any less a man for ordering up a protein-packed salad. Heck, you think Gerard Butler became King Leonidas in 300 by housing burgers and pizza all week? No, he was eating protein and veggies like a freaking caveman. That rant was my way of arriving at a rating for the cobb salad I ate today at Luckys. Did it get the job done? Sure did. It was filling, yet light, and probably offered about 20-30 grams of protein. But...my homeboy got the fish tacos, and those looked A LOT more appetizing than my cob salad. All that to say, if you're hitting up Luckys 13, just breakdown and carb up. I'll be doing the same on my next cheat day, and just maybe, this rating will go up. PS Nice patio. Eat outside.

Went with a group of 10 for lunch. They don't take reservations so we had to take our chances and were seated at a large hightop in the bar. Would have preferred a normal height table on the other side. Extensive pub menu, but the prices are high compared to other similar local places. (We go out to lunch at least once a month and have been to most places in the area.) Food was just ok. My burger was a bit dry and the fries were yucky. The onion rings were excellent. Not worth $12 for lunch. Lots of hard surfaces so it was pretty noisy and we couldn't hear each other talk. Our waitress was eager to please us but disappeared for long periods of time. Water was not offered. We had to ask for it. We were glad we got there early. It filled up fast for lunch. I doubt this particular group of friends will go back to Lucky's 13.

For a Friday evening there were plenty of tables available and we were seated right away. The giant pretzel is exactly how it sounds as an appetizer. It was very good with a cheese sauce. The service was fantastic and our waiter was very funny. Great place to go with friends or a date.

I mean, I guess I'd come back here. There is no REAL reason I'd come back here, just that it seems like a fun place and well, I had a good time. The service was great, there was live music and they had every sporting event on across the world at the same time. Food wise, typical. Nothing to write home about. Happy Hour deals are great, like I said, the service is great and well, the whole atmosphere is great, just nothing special. It's one of those places where I'd go if everyone else went, but most likely wouldn't suggest going there.

I really, really wanted to just go with 4 stars, but there were a few intangibles that convinced me to push it to 5. My coworker and I were here on a busy Saturday night. We got lucky and got a couple good spots at the bar without having to wait. Despite the place being packed, we were well attended to by the bartenders throughout the night. What impressed me the most about the service was how genuinely concerned the staff was about our experience. We were asked at least 3 times (by different people, only 1 of them management as far as I could tell) how our burgers were. Now, the food: The burger itself was the closest to that "cooked in the backyard by Dad" taste I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. My sweet potato fries were also satisfactory and my coworker seemed happy with his burger and loaded tater tots. The only shortcoming was that they came across as cheap a couple of times: 1) My coworker got 3, yes three, loaded tater tots with his burger. Granted, they are quite large, but the portion definitely does not justify the $1 upcharge. He did say they were good, but it didn't look like a good value. 2) The smaller beers are 14 ounces, not the traditional pint. Granted, I didn't actually measure them. I'm just going with what the receipt said. Is that nitpicking? Absolutely, but it doesn't take much to drop you from perfection to 4 stars. However, 2 things struck me that pushed me past the shortcomings. 1) The place was clean. From our vantage point, you could see into part of the kitchen and what I assumed was a server/expediter area with various food items around. Considering how busy it was, it was immaculate. We could also see the kitchen being deep cleaned (as in guys cleaning the hood system) during the busy dinner service. I was impressed. 2) The attitude of the staff. It was busy, but nobody was stressed and everybody was having a good time. I got a good feel for this sitting at the end of the bar. I was also really impressed with the manager's interaction with the rest of the staff. Well done, guys.

I have just a couple quick comments about this place... 1. Awesome popcorn 2. Awesome waitresses 3. Awesome drinks 4. Awesome overall service Need I say more?

Popcorn was a good beginning but after that it was just okay. I got the soup and sandwich combo - The Rachel and some cream-based tomato ish soup. Soup was okay and the rye bread for the sandwich wasn't strong enough.

Chain bar food at its best. If your in the mood for standard bar fare, done chain style than go for it. It's not a gastro pub, Irish pub, sports bar or anything else. It's a bar, serves drinks, pretty decent food anchored by Sandwiches. Nothing of note or that suggests using adjectives like "amazing", "mind altering" or "mouth watering" but a good burger, fresh fish, good service. It is loud, there is alot going on (happy hours to birthdays to family dinners)

I was surprised to have a wait for a Friday afternoon, but even being fifth on the list we only waited less than 10 minutes. The place was decorated for Halloween and it gave the restaurant a great atmosphere! My small group tried the Chili Mac App and it was delicious! It's a big bowl of their chili served with fried mac and cheese, tortilla chips, Fritos, and sour cream. I then had the Wino Burger, which was very rich and very large! The Wino Burger is a take on the Juicy Lucy and it's filled with Port Cheese spread. This was probably the gooiest Juicy I've ever had, hence the richest burger I've ever had as well! This place has been nothing but a solid experience for me every time I've visited.

Went here for breakfast today. I have been here numerous times for happy hour since it is by my old office. One thing that was nice was that it was totally not crowded. As with any saloon eatery that serves breakfast, I try there bloody mary. I give it 2 stars out of five. It really did not have much depth, and the accoutrements were weak. More over the waitress offered a Corona or Coors as a chaser....I don't think so. I asked if I could have a real beer for a chaser, and she let me order a Fultons. For that she got a bigger tip. Now to the food. The menu is on the smallish side, but what they offer is pretty good. My wife ordered the lobster scramble which seemed pretty good (she was only sharing one bite with me because she really liked it) I ordered the corned beef hash. The hash was obviously made there. Large chunks of meat cooked in potatoes, onions and peppers. Atop my hash were 3 eggs made to order, which was covered in a cajun hollandaise. I totally enjoyed my breakfast. One item of note: wear your fat pants because it is quite a bit of food. I will certainly be back again.

The only reason I'm giving this even 2 stars is because we liked the decor and the service was good. But the food was definately a 1. The menu should really call their "tator tots" something else, because the cheese and salt drenched things we got were not anywhere near even Ore Ida's from a bag. So awful, basically inedible. The Pub Fish Fry was ok, though the fish was over battered and in most places soggy. One of us ordered a Grilled Cheese hamburger sandwich. It was just white bread (who cooks with white bread anymore????) american cheese with a burger stuffed in it. She was very disappointed. Two others ordered hambergers - one got the Lucky 13 and I cant remember the other - and both said they were mediocre, nothing at all special, but certainly better than the Grilled Cheese and the Pub Fish, which was not saying much.

Overall pretty good food basic bar/pub food. Large portions : recommend order one entree and split with someone if you can. Onion rings made fresh from scratch again a huge portion. Very crowded for a Saturday in the suburbs I would credit that to all of the above and the lack of places to go in the area.

I'll start by pointing out that Lucky's was started by the same fine folks that brought us Axel's, Bonfire and Rudy's Redeye Grill... so in my book, they can do very little wrong. Lucky's 13 is no exception. Taking over the old Bennigan's space, they did an unbelievable job renovating it and making it look like it's been a Bloomington institution since the 1930s. The stamped tin ceilings, the cable-driven ceiling fans and the dusted brick walls all harken to an era far earlier than it's actual 2010 debut. To me it feels like my old gray hooded sweatshirt - not flashy, but really comfortable. The extensive menu contains a laundry list of appetizers (try the tater tots - they're actually loaded mashed potatoes rolled into a ball and deep-fried), salads, sandwiches and pizzas. They also have more than a dozen different burgers if you're into that sort of thing. And I am. I recommend the Hickory burger and the Turkey Bacon melt... mmm. They don't do traditional dinner plates, so if you're looking for a steak or chops, look elsewhere. The beer list is a bit of a disappointment, but they do have a couple seasonals like Sam Adams and Summit, so I'll let that slide. In Bloomington you're just not going to find much in the way of craft beer taps. I definitely recommend a trip to Lucky's if you're in the area - but be warned, the lot is always pretty full and it seems there is always a wait to be seated. Grab a seat at the bar, have some of the free popcorn or peanuts and relax.

Watch it on Saturdays...BINGO goes from 12-3 and people camp out! So if you want lunch on a Saturday....go around 11-11:30 just to be safe. Super loud. Tons of wait staff! Love that you can get a Turkey Burger in any of their burger styles! Tater Tot things...meh...don't bother. Was expecting better fries...seemed super greasy...should have gone the sweet potato fry route.

I'm still trying to figure out what makes Lucky 13's an Irish Pub? We went for St. Paddy's day with a group of friends hoping to avoid St. Paul crowd. Lucky's was still busy, but we were seated within a half hour. Let's start off by asking why they don't carry Irish beer of any sorts? Corn beef and hash was gone half way through lunch, so we didn't get a chance to try any. Nothing on the menu was truly Irish of any sorts. I give Lucky's 13 the 3rd star due to their energy efficient fan system - cable pulled fans. And the decor; stamped tin ceiling, brick walls and an early 20th century feel.

Great spot for St. Patty's day if you're looking for green beer and Irish food and not the crazy crowds of St. Paul. I won't go out of my way to visit Lucky's 13, but I can't complain. They have decent bar food, great service and cold beer. Some menu favorites include the reuben and their loaded burger.

I didnt have food here, just a beers, but the tap beer menu was good, maybe had 20 selections, and probably 30 in bottles. The tap beers were $7 though, a little expensive. They serve free pop corn, which is a nice perk.

Great atmosphere. Rustic western motif. Popcorn at the bar which I like as a bat snack. Salty bit the right amount. The omelet was fantastic, 5 eggs!! more than enough to fill a healthy appetite. $1 bingo to keep you busy while you eat and drink.

Nice sports bar with a good number of TVs. Music was at good volume. We had a great waitress. The food was enjoyed by the group. The band was arriving as we headed out. We missed that this time.

I had a fantastic burger here. It's a bit crowded at lunchtime during the week, and noisy, but that's to be expected. The popcorn is a nice touch.

I've been to this place a number of times for lunch meetings. I will say that all my trips there have been quite consistent in all aspects. First, there are a few reviews that state this place is hard to find. Perhaps I'm just better at reading a Google map than most, but I've never had any problem finding this place. This place is fairly large and does get quite busy at lunch but we've always been able to get a seat without waiting. Service has always been fast and friendly. If I stopped the review here, I'd probably give this place four or five stars. Of course if I stopped the review here, I'd be overlooking the food, which is why I'm giving this place only two stars. They've got a huge menu, typical bar food, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers. There are lots of things on the menu that sound great, but in my experience, none of the food I've had here has been great. It's always been fairly bland and uninspired. It's not that any of the food has been really bad or anything, it's just not great. That being said, I'd avoid the burgers here as I've found them to always be consistently quite dry. The one thing on the menu I've found that I do really enjoy are their homemade tater tots. They're not really tots in the traditional sense. These things are huge, like nearly the size of egg rolls and stuffed with cheese and bacon. These things could be a meal on their own. The other thing worth mentioning about the food is the portion sizes. Everything on the menu here seems to be huge, I mean obscenely huge. You could probably split a burger or sandwich between three people and still have a bit left over. I'd much rather see more sensible portion sizes for lower prices.

Food was great for lunch. All 5 of us really enjoyed it. Only complaint was our table was warped so I felt like I was eating on a slope.

My wife and I sought out this place on a busy Saturday night as we were in town for a wedding the night before. We called ahead because we were looking for somewhere to watch the Blackhawks/Bruins game. They said they would have it so we ventured out. As soon as we got there and pulled up to the bar they changed the channel for us and we were set for the night. Food was very good. Service was very quick especially for how busy it was. And they had a great band that night to boot. We stayed till the lights came on. I would absolutely go back next time I am in town.

Great atmosphere!! The service was outstanding and the food was good. They have a large selection of sandwiches and appetizers. Other pubgrub as well. We were there for a football game. TVs in every direction. Definitely the place for a sporting event. I will return whenever I can.

The staff was super attentive, great atmosphere, the liveusic was a little annoying, the ruben could feed two and a star. The housemade blue cheese is great! The free popcorn is nice and no upcharging for changing fries, salad, or any sides is a bonus. You can almost always get in and they have more than enough televisions. The outdoor area is great when the weather permits and they even have a television and fire place outside. Some times the service can be slow.

Visited on a wednesday night. Food was good. Bingo was a nice twist. Our server was terrible. The only thing necessary to be a good server is to ask often and politely. She provided neither.

We went to Lucky's to have a dinner and drinks. We had a friend from France who was visiting. According to the manager, the policy is that they only take State I.D.s, Military I.Ds, or U.S. Passports. Which would mean that they do not serve foreigners. I recommend that if you are not a U.S. citizen, then it is pointless to go to this bigoted establishment. This was the only restaurant/bar that we had a problem with the whole time our friend from France was in town.
