As a New Englander, I can't live without my D&D coffee. Unfortunately, this is the only one for a 20 mile radius of Ann Arbor. It has a drive through, unlike many other local coffee joints which is a plus when traveling in snow or with kiddos. Staff is friendly. Unlike New England they are mostly smiling... It's a surprisingly good place to study. Long hours. Great student friendly prices. It is very quiet and never crowded. There are about 8 tables and a coffee bar to sit. Decent (not fab) music playing in background. Free wi-fi. Lot's of parking. On busline (I think). I'm not sure why it is so dead when I come here. Perhaps students prefer expensive coffee ; )

Excellent service and great coffee served with super yummy baked items - the muffins are as good as the doughnuts!

Only if you have time to waste and want sugar in your coffee without asking for it. They don't over-toast their bagels though, which saved them from a 1-star. The employees are nice enough.

Vastly improved!!! I have not been back to this location in at least 2 years because I have up on them due to poor service. The staff was friendly, the place seemed much cleaner and when I asked for an item that was once on their menu I was politely told that they were under new management and no longer carried it. It then made perfect sense why the experience was much better than it was 2 years ago...even though they did away with my chocolate chip cookie :) If you gave up on this location more than 6 months ago I would suggest that you give it another try. 3.5 stars but I rounded up to help their overall score. It is well deserved.

Used to go often and finally gave up on them. Countless times items from our drive-thru order were missing and I got attitude when I had to go park my car, walk back in, and tell them something was missing. Very inconvenient when you're in a hurry. I gave them chance after chance and finally gave up when the woman (of Indian descent I believe) that is always working there told me she didn't have time to help me with looking up to see whether or not I was charged for a missing item (mind you it was the FIRST thing I ordered at the drive thru) - I was certainly going to pay for it if I wasn't charged for it. But, of course the drive thru guy didn't give me a receipt for me to be able to check. That was the last straw for me, and going to DD was even my and my coworkers' Friday ritual!!

Standard for a Dunkin Donuts. The staff was friendly and coffee was quick. Free wifi is always appreciated!

Being vegan, there aren't many options for me at the Double D, but awhile back a friend wanted to go and I found out that their hashbrowns are vegan friendly so I ordered some with a black coffee. I fell in love (best hash browns ever), though of course this was a different DD. This location just happens to be closest to where I live and work so I've visited a couple of times, and have been disappointed every time. The customer service is downright awful. I've walked in before and the only two employees working were having a smoke break right outside the front door and didn't bother to come in and take my order for another five minutes. I've been charged double what I ordered. I've had to stand at the counter for ten minutes or longer waiting for the immature employees to stop goofing around long enough to take my order. And every time, the hash browns are soggy and greasy. One time I asked the employee to "please make sure they crisp up" and she laughed in my face. Today I visited the drive thru and ordered 2 orders of hash browns. Checked my bag and there was one order. Pulled back up and their answer was "we put both orders into one bag". Kind of annoying considering I ordered 2 orders to share with a friend, but whatever. Later counted the hashbrowns and there were 12 in one bag. One order is supposedly 10 hash browns. I was ripped off. Dunkin, please do something to take care of the horrible service at this location! Any visit to any other location has been lovely and I'd really like the option of visiting this one, since it's so closeby!

First and foremost, I love Dunkin' Donuts.... when they closed the only store on Washtenaw many years ago, I ended up ordering my coffee directly from their HQ in Boston. I got into their coffee thanks to a buddy of mine, who only drank DD coffee... I also learned from him how much coffee to use and what kind of water to use (filter only)!! I was so excited when DD opened up, granted it's far away from my home, nevertheless I was happy! Let's get something out of the day... I only get coffee whenever i'm at DD, no donuts for me... my usual is large hazelnut flavored coffee, black! Service can be lacking... it seems many folks are there, but I sensed that they are pre-occupied with something else, because couple times I've been there, I had to wait to be seen, even had someone walk by me w/o saying hello... this kind of service needs to be fixed... I know its a franchisee, but still they should live up to the DD standard. I wish they could bring the DD service and attitude of Korea over to the states, that would be awesome!!! But, I cannot discredit others who have a great customer service here, of which I have experienced.... so I guess service is hit or miss, depending on who you get... All I can say is... go here for coffee and donuts... granted I have another favorite place for donuts, they also have good coffee too!! :)

I walked in to friendly faces and great customer service! Even though it was really busy, they multi-tasked pretty good and tried to be fast and efficient. I'm obsessed with their coffee!

Wow what a disaster and such a dirty place. You have people handling food then money, undercooked bagels and rude staff. When I complained about the hair on my food they said if you think that is bad you should see the cooler.....hope the health department is on their way..... the worst was while I was waiting a woman was trying to order her food and the guy waiting on her asked her to leave and come back when she learned how to speak english...ouch....i understood her I guess when you are to busy spending your time pulling up your shorts and then touching food you can't be bothered with customer service.

Well, finally there's a DD near us unfortunately, it's not on the way to work (unless I'm housesitting in Ypsi). Who doesn't love donuts? The French Cruller is only 150 calories, but the coffee is the reason to go. You can even get an espresso in your coffee just like at Starbucks (BTW, dunkinbeatstarbucks.com )! When they added the egg-while flatbread breakfast sandwhich, I thought it was the perfect alternative to Mickey D's, Wendy's or BK's offereings! It's pretty decent considering it's fast food, although too much on the flat bread relative to the egg whites, low-fat cheese, and low-fat turkey sausage! I would add multi-grain flatbread and spread the egg whites more evenly throughout if possible.

If you're looking for great service don't stop here. I attend college and it's hard to find a quiet spot to do a little homework, so the first time I walked in here and found quiet, I got excited. The first fifteen minutes of the one visit was great. Until the employees started screaming at each other and jumping across the counter. 100 four letter words and some top of the voice yelling later, I left to find peace and quiet. I came back about four days later blaming my experience on some drama that couldn't be quieted only to find the employees talking about hooking up with each other and describing in great detail one of the sexual experiences they had encountered. One was in the bathroom and the other was at the counter as they were both screaming across the building through a door. I'm not really easily offended and I don't mind the occasional banter, but I have to say that this is the most repulsive environment I've ever been in. Looking to grab a cup of coffee and a donut to go? Go for it. But don't plan on stopping in for any quiet time or to have a coffee with a friend, because you won't be able to get a word in between the screaming and lewd conversation for all to hear. The people that work here don't care.

I've lived on Dunkies coffee. Many a road trip to the eastern seaboard has been fueled by Dunkies coffee. Usually by the time I can smell the Atlantic ocean I'm jittery full of tasty coffee. This Dunkin Donuts, however, puts the name to shame. They regularly screw up my coffee order -- I'm not ordering some whacko Coffeebucks half decaf llama soy gumdrop sweetened whatever drink. Iced coffee, two creams, two sweeteners -- it's not rocket science. About the only thing they seem to get right every time is the iced part. Except for the one time they tried to hand me a hot drink and I handed it right back. Screwing up my coffee order is a major sin in my book, but what really squicked me was the time I ordered a buttered, toasted bagel, too. You know how when you order a bagel with cream cheese you get a thick gloopy mess on top? This bagel was coated with as much goop as if it had been ordered with cream cheese, with a good 1/8" thick coating of some cheap, rancid margarine. I couldn't even eat it. One whiff of the smell and I was nauseated. Pity, because they'd actually gotten the coffee right for a change.

I was about to write a review on the great service and then saw the other reviews. Wow, I thought this DD was great and the jelly donut I got was as fresh and tender as could be. Yumm-o!!!

This dunkin' donuts is worse than never. The staff is rude. I order some for to go. I left some tip in the box. She saw it but she even not say thank you.
