We went in for a Sunday morning breakfast. I found myself powerfully underwhelmed by the experience. My breakfast skillet was not served hot (not cold though) and my wife's sandwich was missing the cheese. Coffee was good though but I had ask for butter for my biscuits. Bright spot was our server who was polite and friendly. Over all though it was an experience best described as "meh".

Bleh. I can't think of a word that sums it up any better. Pretty unremarkable in taste, quantity, service & selection. I had a 1/3 lb cheeseburger (which is larger than a 1/4 lb... if you're not sure). It was a tasteless pre-formed patty of brown meat & American cheese, on a dry, crumbling sesame seed bun with chopped tomatoes & iceberg lettuce. Mmmmm! Not so much. I salted it twice trying to make my mouth aware that I was actually eating something. I'd rather eaten a burger at nearby fast food chain Culvers... it would've tasted better & cost far less, but other members of my party wanted Arnie's. My first time to visit & I hope the last. The 'free' dessert cupcake arrived on the table fresh from a very cold fridge. It would've taken 15 or 20 minutes for it to warm up/thaw out enough to taste it. I took mine to go. It was better than my burger.

First time at Arnies. Wasn't too sure what to expect. My wife and I other had different burgers. We liked that the meat was seasoned and cooked as ordered. I didn't care for the chips...I felt they generally lacked flavor. Free cupcakes were nice, nothing super special. Wasn't real impressed with our server...we had to ask for more water on more than one occasion and it took quite a while to get. It seems geared towards an older clientèle, of which we are not. Not sure I'd come back.

Great food, awesome cupcakes. (Free with your order) The service could be a tad quicker, however the food makes up for it. I live for a good burger and this is a good place for a good burger.

My experience here wasn't perfect, but I don't expect it to be. I'm not here for experience. I'm here for their dang good food. Their chicken pot pie always hits the spot, and who doesn't appreciate free dessert? Plus, you get a good amount of food for a good price. Gosh I can't wait to eat this cupcake.

A great place for an exceptionally low priced, full service meal. With that low price, there is, as expected, some compromise on quality. The soup tasted like it came from a can and had a strange thickening ingredient built into the recipe. I ordered blackened cod - the quantity was fine but, again, the recipe was very basic. My main course and soup came to only $10! They have a wide variety of baked goods at the front of the store including breads, cakes, and desserts ready to take home. My meal came

We had a nice meal today, our server was Rose and very accommodating. She was there to refill your glasses and to make sure everything was ok. Our food was very good.

Ate here for a business lunch. My turkey and bacon sandwich and Arnies Rivera side salad were delicious as was the white chocolate raspberry cupcake. I think Arnies is more known for their bakery goods than their food service. Atmosphere: Bob Evans meets a bake shop. Service was a bit rough around the edges but not bad. Everything was headed for a 4 star review until my colleague received an unidentified brown mass in his tea. Not sure how the waitress missed that one, it was quite large and gelatinous - minus one star. A little while later, that same colleague bit on something very hard and chipped his tooth. Rock in muffin - minus 1 star. Victim colleague indicated his food tasted great otherwise and so did my other guest. They just have some quality control issues here. Diner beware. To be fair, I've heard good things about this chain. It might just be this location.

Slow service. The food is good but for a bakery and deli the service is abysmal.

Stopped by one evening... the food was alright had the French onion soup that is par for casual restaurants and the sandwich was good too. The thing that stood out the best was the server. He recognized that I hadn't been to an Arnie's before and guided me to his recommendations. The free cupcake with certain meals is intriguing, and I opted for the carrot cake.

Stayed at the Hampton Inn next door and reluctantly went here because we were too lazy to drive around. I hoped for the best. Arnie's has a Cracker Barrel looking crowd. If you don't know what I mean, you haven't been to the old CB enough. Let's just say the clientele prefers gravy on most everything. The server was screeching loud and asked if we were ready as soon as she walked up. Uhh.... just sat down lady. Out came the soup, out came the tiniest pieces of fish in a fish and chips I ever saw. And the out came a cupcake. It may have been 25 minutes. Over priced, bad service, terrible food and are those cupcakes really their specialty?? I hate giving bad reviews, but I learned my lesson for future business trips. Read yelp always before heading out.

Worse armies in Grand Rapids. The staff are always rude as hell and the wait is unacceptable. They charged me 3.99 for a tiny ass side of fries. It said it was 1.79 with the meal, yet they refused to give me the cost. I won't go back. I would rather drive out to the one on 28th and woodland mall.

Service was slow. I was seated quickly but it took a long time to be greeted by my server. Pretty plain menu. I think I might have been only one of two people in the place under 50. There were a couple of cool specials on the board in the lobby but I couldn't remember them by the time I got to the table and the server didn't mention. My salad was very fresh with quality ingredients though. The baked goods in the case looked amazing so I got some to go. Really wish they would add new soup selections and a couple of updated choices -in case I need to take my mom and grandma out to eat I would find something good too.
