We frequently come here during the day as have wonderful service. It was a while since we came in during the evening so we decided to stop in. We were promptly seated and given menus. That was where the service stopped. A server never approached our table (yet there were three standing around talking at the pos system). I sat and watched as others were seated and their drink orders taken. Finally we got up and left. Guess this was a sign not to come in or dinner. We will stick to lunch only and spend our evening money somewhere else.

Don't normally write reviews for chain restaurants, but this BWW really has set itself apart. There food is normal BWW's fare which I happen to like a lot. They really set themselves apart with there outstanding service. I've been multiple times and every time it is completely stellar.

This was our first experience at BWW (and will most likely be our last). We were forced to go here since the food places at the "world famous" Detrioter truck stop all close at 10:00pm and we got into town after that. How can it be world famous with no food after 10pm? Oh well, that's another story. Anyway, this place was pretty empty for a Friday night at about 11:30pm. We had our pick of tables and figured we would grab a quick bite to eat then off to bed after a long day on the road. Things started off ok, waitress took our drink orders and got those out to us right away. She asked if we were ready and we placed the order immediately upon getting our drinks (we were tired and wanted to get in and out). That's when things came to a grinding halt. It was almost an hour until our food arrived. What did we order? WINGS!!! Since it's in their name, you'd think they could get them out in a timely manner. If that wasn't bad enough, the bill was $70 with tip and we had NO alcohol. Slow and expensive - not the ideal recipe for success. The only reason they get the extra star is that they are open until 2:00am and we were in a bind to find a place to eat (plus there was an Argos-Eskimos CFL game on one of the 3,000 TVs around the place). Next time we go through Detroit we will be making other meal plans.

I had some pretty annoying experiences at first, such as getting a beer spilled on me or the time we had three other servers (not our normal server) come up to us at various times and ask if we were doing okay, while we waited over 30 minutes for our food. But since I like BWW (despite their higher beer prices) and live right around the corner, I gave it a few more chances. The atmosphere is great: ample seating, good decor, outside seating, and tons of TVs.

So Monday here is a joke. It's boneless wings for 60 cent. The catch is you have to pay for ranch or whatever dipping sauce you want. The service here sucks and the lady wasn't to pleased with me once I tossed a for about it.

Finally got around to trying this fairly new BWW. My husband and I decided to just sit at the bar. Our bartender was Melissa and she was superb! Rarely it seem's these day's that you get that. She was super friendly, helpful,classy,attentive and knowledgeable about the different beer's. Making suggestion's for our different taste's. My husband decided to get some wing's too. She was more than happy to help, not annoyed like you often time's get at other place's. It really does make a world of difference if someone will return or not based on service. I hate leaving somewhere with a bad "taste" in my mouth about the service. Good choice on hiring Melissa!

DO NOT get placed by the bar. One employee is stuck tending the bar, waiting on the 4 front tables and making all the drinks. To me I am surprised they have a bar tender. They must get paid good. Other then that the food is good, even the frozen hamburgers they make. Great place to relax and kick back.
