Very disappointed in this place. I'm one and done with a business if you can't impress me. Stopped in (Wixom) on Sunday for breakfast. I ordered the Apple Cinnamon Crapes. Bad decision. The Crapes were very tuff and chewy. The first bite of every crape was warm and the rest were cold. Obviously they were microwaved and they use frozen apples, not fresh..The menu it's like reading a book. Very big menu. How can you make an item good when your menu is longer then a book and you have 4,000 menu items. Bottom line: go somewhere else.

This food is soooooooooooooo Disgusting. SO DISGUSTING. I took like 3 bites and bounced to Culvers to eat fries. This food was soooooooooooooooooooo bad. SO BADDD.. There was an arab/leb looking guy moping half the whole time I sat n waited and it wasnt till I tasted the food I realized he was probably pissed and apparently was waiting for his money back!!!!!! There was some kind of confrontation w/him and the kitchen. PIEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW! This food was soooooooooooo nasty I ran into some darn truckers [Lord knows theyll likely eat anything] happened upon mentioning the food and they said their boss got Heartburn after eating it!!!!!!! LOLLS. I was smart enough to chuck it up and L.E.A.V.E! OMG they had greens that had brown marks all over, turkey like plastic and stuffing that tasted like SOCKS! Damn near puked that shht up Fastest meal I never ate.

Awesome food! Every time we come here we get great service. I live close so this is our go to place to either eat at or order from. I highly recommend it.

This restaurant has oddly low reviews. I have been here multiple times with my boyfriend and we are always satisfied with our food and service. We had one experience with slow service but it was right when they first opened. Their food here is fresh and always delicious in my opinion.

I have discovered a new favorite that is fairly close to home. The Red Olive in Wixom was recommended by a friend so we thought to stop in last week and give it a try. It was amazing and we did come back and try it a second time with the same results. The Greek food is very good. I have tried their gyros as well as the Greek salad, avgolemono (lemon rice) and split pea soup. The menu is diverse and the food quality is consistent. They have some gluten-free alternatives too. Most notably the service was excellent both times we ate there. I would have to agree on the parking/entry to this plaza being bad-it's tough to find the restaurant and the plaza parking needs to be designed in a more logical manner however my rating is strictly on the restaurant food and service. If there were restaurant problems before I noticed absolutely none now. I will definately be returning and if the restaurant operations remain the same or improve I will adjust my rating higher.

We've been going to Red Olive and loved the food. Service needs help. Good service when they first opened but lately dissapointing but it isn't stopping us from going.

Have been going here for breakfast for awhile now, every time we have had a wonderful experience! The staff is friendly, service fast and the food is great, the breakfast specials can't be beat. Usually I am visiting with a friend and they never rush you out. Thank you for super service and food.....Karen

I too don't understand the low reviews. Service is Coney island style so not mind blowing, but my wife and I have eaten breakfast and dinner here and we keep coming back. We also get takeout from here at least once a week. Chicken over rice is good, their gyros are great, soups are excellent, my wife loves their chicken noodle. Reasonably priced and food is good. What else do you want from a better-than-coney island family resturaunt?

The food was great! The service was fast and good despite it being a busy Saturday night. The server did forget to give us the extra sauce on the side but I had asked for 2 extra and the manager brought it out to me. Not worth bringing them down a star though! We go there 3 times a week and have not been disappointed yet!

This restaurant may have potential, but unfortunately I have had TWO bad experiences and the restaurant hasn't even been open long. Sunday, I went here for lunch. I got home and the sandwich I ordered did not have the sauce thats supposed to come with it. It was horribly bland and dry. I called and was offered a replacement meal. This was a good gesture and I was appreciative. Today, I went for lunch to use the credit. I reminded them of the experience I had on Sunday. The cashier was kind. I ordered the chicken gyro and fries. This time I got home and realized they had given me a LAMB gyro, which I do not eat. I had to go all the way back. While I didn't need any compensation for the inconvenience this caused, it would have been nice if the manager offered. He only said "sorry about that". I just thought this was poor customer service. I gave one star because the cashier was friendly and apologetic. I probably will not be going back. They can't seem to get simple orders correct.

Decided to check out this place today for lunch. For starters, this is located in the worst built plaza ever. The parking lot is horrible and if this plaza ever gets busy, it's going to be a mess for all tenants and customers. I ordered a coffee, gyro, and french fries. Waitress Teri was great, very attentive and friendly. The place looked very clean. My Gyro was good, but for $6.25 I expected a little bit more meat. I also didn't like the regular toothpicks that were in the sandwich. The owner should stop being cheap and get the Club Frills toothpicks, they are longer and safer to use. My fries were hot, but not worth the price. For $2.45 you should get better than $14/box fries from restaurant depot. A few odd things that I saw: I saw a guy wondering aimlessly around the restaurant with his baseball cap on backwards. I thought maybe he was lost, turns out, it was the busboy. For Gods sake put on a shirt so people know who you are and that you work there. Reading some of the reviews I saw people complaining about hair in their food, as I looked in the kitchen I noticed that NO COOKS had a hat, or hairnet on, let alone gloves. This is horrible. Management/owners know better than this. I also noticed some guy with a huge necklace around his neck sitting on top of his shirt he finally put on his Mets baseball cap. Servers looked great, all had their hair pulled back, clean shirts, all smiles. Would I eat here again? There's a slight chance I would is about 20%. Having been in the restaurant business since the age of 12 things turn me off about restaurants, especially when I see cooks with no hats, hairnets or gloves.

I've been going to red olive for years at the Plymouth locations. (The banquet center is wonderful). I was so excited to see this location where we live now. Red Olive is nothing more than a Coney Island/diner style restaurant. Simple good food. We love coming here for breakfast/lunch. If you are expecting more than that you might be confused as to what type of place this is. Great service and friendly staff. Awesome Gyro meat and omelettes!

I had the country omelet. Good portion size but the Swiss cheese was a processed cheese. Eggs were on the dry side. My friend asked for cheddar cheese in his omelet and received American cheese. They did replace the omelet. Service was friendly. My water glass was empty for most of my meal before I asked for a refill.

So disappointed. I've been to many other locations and loved it. The food at this location was AWFUL. There was hair is 3 out of 5 of our meals. I sat for most of the meal with my water empty, and the kids food sat in the window so long it was cold and you could tell just by looking at it that it had been sitting out. And to top it off, we were one of only a cpl tables in the place at that time. Will not be returning.

This restaurant deserves much higher ratings. I have dined at his location many times and have always been pleased with the food. The service is fast and friendly. When I'm not traveling the world, you will find me in this wonderful family restaurant. Keep up the great work!

It was just ok. I'm staying across Grand River at the Comfort Suites and wanted to walk to dinner and didn't want fast food. This place was clean and the service was good. However the Greek combination dinner (moussaka, gyro and Greek lasagna) was just ok. The sauce on the lasagna and the moussaka tasted like Chef Boyardee. All of it needed salt and pepper. I wouldn't risk my life crossing Grand River again to eat there.

Compared to other Red Olive restaurants, this is quite below par. Server was good and attentive, but the kitchen was slow during a time the restaurant was about 50% occupied. Tortilla chips on nachos were stale, meat portions on nachos and salad were very small. Will be awhile before we come back.

Pretty disappointing compared to other Red Olive locations we have been to before. Food portions were small and my food was cold. Waitress was nice but probably won't go back.
