I love this place. The atmosphere is fun and the servers are friendly. The food is always good. Yes, it's true! I love their Greek salad , their pizza and spaghetti the best. I'm not a seafood lover, but I've heard it is very good. This place is always packed but the wait is worth it.
CLB is a great place for summer and winter. We snowmobile there often for the great food and cold beer. (only one on sled) I know poeple that off-road there in the summer and say its a good ride. The have a great selection of food and drinks including bar food and some "better" food. Known for fish frys and pizza but everyhing there is good. It's a little hard to find which gives it even more character because only people that really want to find it do. It's got that up north feel but it's not a total dive. They have some stuffed animals that are interesting to look at. They also have a pool table and a few video games. Aways a good crowd here to watch Lions and Red Wings too. (can get crowded at times)
This place Is a great up north bar with an excellent kitchen. Daily specials and great friendly staff. Highly recommended all year around

We were headed for Tree Tops golf resort, but thought we would stop for a sandwich.searched the yelp app and came up with a recommendation to try the Willow Tree in west branch because we were close we decided to stop. Sometimes the food gods are smiling on us. When Joshua our server was finished telling us the daily entrees, we forgot about sandwich and focused on which of the delishious Menu items we would try. Four of us shared three wonderful fish dishes. I wish I could describe them as well as our server. He was certainly well versed and knowledgable. Stuffed salmon, Chilean sea bass and halibut were our choices. Wonderful sauces, risotto, all topped with shrimp and scallops and veggies done just right. But wait! Save room for desert, too many to describe I won't try, just check out my photos. However I will say the apple thing was excellent, chocolate cake is chocolate cake, but I will never say creme brûlée is creme brûlée again. This creme brûlée set a new standard it was the best ever. I know it is late to mention the bread but I believe they made it fresh for us it was very light and tasty. Our server was spot on with his check backs and helpful with choices. I hope I can learn to post photos.
Three of us went to this restaurant for Fathers Day and were not disappointed. The father in our group ordered the Kobe beef steak with portobellos and thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes, it was the most expensive entree at $50 but he deserves a special meal from time to time! The rest of us ordered sea scallops with asparagus and chicken with a yummy raspberry sauce. Everything was excellent. Our server was very attentive. Dessert for the man of the day was cheesecake - again very yummy! By far, this is the finest restaurant in a 30 mile radius and I'm glad it exists. We will be back.
The food at the Willow Tree Restaurant was incredible, and we ate a ton of it! The service was also amazing. We had the nicest waitress. I think her name was Sharon, but I could be wrong. We ordered the fried zucchini and bruschetta as an appetizer. I had the Caesar salad, and my mom ordered the chicken pot pie. For dessert, we shared the tuxedo cake. The fried zucchini was a little under seasoned, but I could quickly overlook that fact once I dipped it in the cucumber dip. It was creamy, fresh, and flavorful. The bruschetta was the best bruschetta I have ever had. The tomatoes were so flavorful and fresh. I didn't expect that for March. They tasted like tomatoes that were picked out of the garden in the middle of July. They were perfectly marinated with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, and basil. Just writing this review is making me wish I could go back for lunch today. The tuxedo cake was fabulous, but it was a little rich for me. It had layers of chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, cream cheese mousse, and it was topped with a decadent chocolate ganache. I would have never been able to eat an entire piece of that cake on my own. It was perfect for sharing. The only reason I'm giving the Willow Tree Restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 was because they had no clue how to make a cosmopolitan. My mom ordered a cosmo, and we could tell that it caused a lot of commotion at the bar. They ended up having to look up the recipe for a cosmopolitan. I guess there aren't that many people ordering cosmos in West Branch, but I still don't think bartenders should take 15 minutes to learn how to make a drink that is listed on the menu. I will definitely go back to the Willow Tree Restaurant again. Next time, I'll just stick with a glass of wine. :-)

After a long day opening up the house for Summer, we were starving. Looked in Yelp for a near by Pizza spot and found G's was close by. It was awesome! Great Pizza and Bread Sticks and loved the homemade Ranch Dressing for dipping! I have been coming up north for years and driven past G's many times and never knew anything about it. I will definitely be going back often, great food and staff. Oh and they have a full sized stuffed Brown Bear in a glass case as well!
My in-laws frequent this location while up north so they chose to introduce us. We grabbed a booth upstairs and chose the pickle chips for a starter. They were just ok, the breading was not really sticking to them, but they had a little kick. My husband and I opted for the deep dish, Big Al's I think it is called and it was so good! The crust was brushed with olive oil and garlic and I wish I would have had room to eat more. I could have done with a side of marinara to just dip my sauce in!! It took a bit to get my wine too, but the waitress apologized because she had to go downstairs to get it and then couldn't find a glass either. I would definitely stop back when in the area.
Love the atmosphere. Good food. Great beer on tap. Lots of character. Has a two level bar. A must see for west branch.

I travel a lot for work around the U.S. and always find myself comparing other Chinese food joints to China Inn. Their sweet and sour chicken is always a must when visiting family in town
Five stars for ambiance and service. The food is reasonably priced and good. I wish they would upgrade the quality of the ingredients and charge more. It seems like they are trying to provide value rather than exceptional food. The decor and service suggests they should crank up the food quality too.
Great place to stop at when in town! Lovely staff, enjoyable atmosphere, and delicious food. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

I work across the street so occasionally I go there to get a coffee or smoothies for the employees. Today I stopped in and ordered a coffee and a turkey BLT. I was greeted by a very energetic and friendly person. I'm guessing she's the owner? Normally the employees are younger and don't really look enthusiastic to be there and sometimes seem like I'm wasting their time. Anyway, It made me instantly happy. When I received the turkey BLT, I was surprised it was in a nice big container and not just wrapped in paper. This sandwhich was sooo good ! Seriously the best I've had! I want to order it again, but I'm nervous that I just lucked out, and next time it won't be made as well? We will see... It was awesome. Also, included was a treat... A slice of sweet cake bread. I think it's pumpkin cinnamon... So good ! :)
An oasis in a desert of coffeeshop-less lands! I had the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel and it was delicious!
Great little coffee kiosk. Friendly and always helpful staff. The coffee is generic, however it is not bad or expensive. The hot and cold drinks are very good. It has dual drive-thru windows so you do not wait long.

We stopped here on our way up north. It's a short drive from the freeway and worth it if you don't want fast food. The chips and salsa were tasty and the service was friendly and fast. The enchiladas were yummy. My son got a steak and potato and enjoyed it. Off the kids menu we ordered the cheeseburger and grilled chicken which the kids happily ate. We would stop here again.
I like the new interior. The kids like to eat here. I think it's just ok. Their shredded chicken is very good. Everything is a little bland to me, but you do get it very quickly, and waitstaff is friendly.
Excellent service, unlimited supply of homemade chips and salsa. Inexpensive delicious Mexican cuisine. Loved it and kept going back.

Why eat at a chain fast food joint when you can experience the real deal in West Branch when shopping at the Tanger Outlets? Go back in time to the 1940s decor and food. Have a burger and beer. You will love it.

The people were exceptionally nice, which makes me want to give them 5 stars. But I like to base my ratings on food which was a solid 4. The sausage gravy was quite tasty and the sausage links were well regarded by my husband and 1 1/2 year old son. The toast, hash browns and eggs were all pretty good. I like that they delivered an entire pot of coffee to the table so I didn't have to scour the joint to get a refill. With that, though, came no water refills which was a bummer. The menu has lunch stuff on it but everyone I saw was basically eating breakfast items so we followed suit. Overall it was a solid choice if you find yourself in West Branch craving an omlette.
It's a basic diner with basic diner food. Not wonderful, but not bad either. The prices are great and the service is friendly. I love that they have a special table for the old timers who are regulars here. They call it the Table of Knowledge. Very cool!
Great breakfast and great service! The omelettes were huge and delicious! Great breakfast stop. And friendly too!

If you're heading north on I-75, this is the last McDonald's for a long way. If you don't stop here for some McDonald's coffee (consistently decent when there's no fancy foo-foo coffee available) then you'll have to wait until exit 244, Roscommon, and then you'll have to drive 3.5 miles east to get to it. So stop here for a cuppa joe to stay awake while you drive!

Bleh! The only thing good was the baked potato. The sirloin tips were not tender ... Had no flavor ... And for the money the portion was measly. Desserts were not worth the bother. They need new recipes.
A step above old country buffet quality but 2 stars was taken away for giving me a piss poor cut of ribeye that was ordered medium rare. It was well done the first time and they forgot the baked potato. 2nd time the steak came way too much fat and the muscle actually was segregated. It was medium but I was tired of waiting and just said it was fine as I just gave up. The edges look like a razor saw blade. No kidding. The good bits of buffet items were bone dry for a long spell before they brought out more. And the kicker is. .... 45 minutes later I still am waiting for my baked potato. Its not the waitstaffs fault! We overheard several patrons complain about their missing potatoes and buffet food. Our poor waitress was running around trying the best she could. We saw all of waitstaff doing the best they could. Maybe this was a bad shift for the cookline for a Sunday night. Changed to 5 star for decent manager and he reimbursed everybody that came to the register. Will definely come back and give them another shot. Thanks!
My mother always told me, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. Ok, then. The waitress was attentive and sweet. There was a nice variety of toppings for the ice cream. Ok, you are on your own now.
