Absolutely the best desserts in town! Every cake, pie or cookie I've had has been amazing. They are always fresh, made from scratch in-house. Plus they have excellent friendly waitresses. The food is pretty good too, old school diner type food. I love coming here.

We have eaten here on multiple occasions - a really good well-rounded diner. We have come for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but apparently I've been missing out on their desserts!

We came here after having a horrible experience down the street. This place definitely helped brighten my mood. The food wasn't half bad, but the service was top notch. Our waitress was attentive and cheerful. Everything came out quickly. My Reuben and fries were delicious. Loved it! Will definitely come back.

Wow...was new to the area and since the parking lot is typically crowded I thought we would give this place a try... It was not a good experience. The waitress had her fingers in the food as it was being set on the table. The food tasted microwaved and old. The cost was super expensive for what you were getting. The decor was way outdated. It seems to be a gathering place for the older community as everyone eating there appeared to be in their 70's or older. The busboy was picking food out of pre-made salads and eating it as he was putting the salads in the fridge. The bill came to forty dollars for two adults. It was gross and I would not be back.

My grandma worked here in the 70's. It's been here that long. I remember going there with her when I was a kid. If we get a craving for biscuits and gravy, this is where we head. (Especially because I have yet to find a place in Farmington Hills with biscuits and gravy.) I'm also a fan of their California omelette, which is pretty much a western omelette with tomatoes added.

Avoid this place after church hours on a Sunday as they are slammed and a little unorganized. There are 3 tables outside and we decided to sit there (it's a seat yourself deal). Server was pretty nice and apologetic about it all. I asked for a Sprite, coffee and a breakfast special (2 eggs, meat choice, hash brown, toast), BF coffee and breakfast special, kid got the mini kid pancakes & chocolate milk. Everything was good, but my ham was cold, hashbrowns hot, and eggs warm/cold. I really liked my wheat toast if that's saying anything about anything. Coffee was decent enough. Pancakes were standard. Adults both got water, but I never got my Sprite and didn't make a big deal out of it because it was busy and the server seemed overwhelmed. The server wrote the bill up a little weird in that the drinks were not itemized with price and description. After I paid it, it still felt weird to just leave all as is and went back in to ask about it (bill was $19.22) She kind of rush explained it at the checkout counter, and with it being busy and everything chaotic, I just left it at that since my card was already run through. I think she charged me for the Sprite, but since I didn't mention she forgot, she probably thought she brought it considering she brought water cups. I really just didn't want to stay there forever getting it figured out/understood/refunded by that point. We had the Oakland County Airport Open House to get to and a 3 y/o who about ran his patience limitations. In retrospect I should not have tipped 20%. I guess I paid lazy customer/fear of skinflint-itis tax. Definitely an older crowd here. We noticed people getting into/out of large vehicles who probably should have had their licenses revoked years ago.

Copperstone's is a nice little place to grab breakfast or lunch from. The staff is friendly and the food is alright. The crowd is usually folks high up in age, but they're great conversationalists, and don't mind when younger people come in to enjoy the food.

Bumping it up to four stars since the food has consistently and noticeably improved. Service is as good or better than ever.

So you drive up and down M-59 looking for a place to have a quick bite, and you have lost you appeal to the big national chains. You want a decent meal at a reasonable price, with enough of a selection that everyone in the car can find something they will want. Well this is the place for you. Its a classic diner, with sandwich, salads, dinner specials and breakfast 24x7. Friendly and season wait staff, who how when to engage and serve and when to sit back and wait. Its mostly booths, a couple of tables in the back, and a row of counter seats. I had the Shepard's pie dinner special with the lemon rice soup. Both were done well, especially the lemon rice soup - one of the better attempts. The wife went off menu, with little issue, they were very accommodating. We were in and out in under 45 minutes, and we were both surprised how satisfied we were with our meals.

Great place for breakfast. Best hash browns around. Staff is friendly. Prices are average. Gets busy on weekends, so sometimes not worth the wait.

Copperstone's is great for breakfast. If you come at the peak times on a weekend, you may have to wait a few minutes for a table - the sign of a good place. It's normally just a few minutes, and never long enough to make it worth getting back in your car and driving somewhere else. The décor is simple and dated, but if that's going to prevent you from enjoying a good meal, then this is not your place. Make no mistake; you're not getting a gourmet meal here. But you're getting a great meal for the price. Breakfasts are cheap, but good. The Eggs Benedict are a great value (weekends only), and my favorite. I'd avoid Copperstone's for dinner. Dinners are just like any other Coney place, standard food. Breakfasts are where this place shines.
