Wow!! I'm really impressed!!! Being something of a sub lover, I was pretty excited when I heard that Firehouse was opening up near me, and I finally got to go in and try for myself. They don't disappoint! I went in at 2ish and the place had a few customers.. I got the "Welcome to Firehouse!" welcome and started perusing the menu. I like that it's visible all over the restaurant, even at eye level for me! The place was super clean, and lots of room for sitting. I love that they have a lot of low fat/calorie options!! Not something you see really anywhere but subway (which I hate BTW) so I was happy to see that.. I went for the sriracha beef sandwich at 480 calories .. I waited about 5 minutes, picked up my order, and off I went. The first thing was the SIZE of this sandwich! I said "no way this is only 480 calories", but it is! Whole wheat bun is really good, and I normally shy away from wheat. Lots of meat and veggies and the spicy sriracha made me take more than a few long drinks! I'll definitely be back, really good sammie!! /Sammie!

I love it. Good food, tasty, and clean store. The staff are nice and the Italian is my favorite.

Awful sandwich. The staff was clearly confused by the request of a veggie-only sub. They said they had one so I ordered it but it was loaded with gross canned mushrooms and onions. There was no sauce on it but yet the bread was soggy and the whole thing fell apart was soon as I tried to pick it up. Subs are not meant to be eaten with a fork. Bland, messy, and expensive. Total waste of money.

Don't waste your money, got the beef brisket sub and it was just sliced deli meat. Flavor was average, LOT of bread and no meat and was little soggy. Arby's makes a better sandwich for whatever that's worth.

The two subs I've tried thus far have been fantastic and worth every penny. They also have one of those awesome new coke machines that have a bunch of different options on a touchscreen. The employees are all quite friendly and helpful and I want to give a particular shout out to Felicia for going above and beyond explaining how everything works there very well and prepping orders ahead of time when there is a line.

New location at 12/Dequindre in the new(ish) shopping center. Lots of chain sub places around the area and was excited to see Firehouse come to Warren. The location is bright and clean and the employees were very friendly. Asked us if this was our first time to Firehouse (it was) and explained the sandwiches and menu. Two things that impressed me the most on first visit was the plethora of bottled sauces on the long counter, there were at least 20 different hot sauce/sauces to choose from. They also have one of those new coke machines that you can get an infinite number of coke varieties and flavors. Always a plus for me. Sandwiches were pretty standard--Italian, Meatball, Club, etc. When I go to a new sub place I always get the Italian sub as my standard, if they can do that well then I am generally impressed and will more than likely come back. Got an Italian on wheat bread which was "fully involved" which is buzz for all the fixings (lettuce, tomato, onion). Not as big as Jimmy Johns or Tubbys but more satisfying than Penn Station or Subway. Combo came with chips (many varieties to choose from) and a drink. You order, pick up your side and drink and they bring the sandwich to your table. Definitely worth coming back.
