some of the nicest service i have ever received in a sub shop. i had never been to a which wich before, and as soon as my boyfriend and i entered, we were greeted and the cashier asked if we had been there before. when we told her know, she took the time to come from behind the counter and explain everything to us. i really appreciated this! when you're new to a restaurant if the ordering system is not standard it can be confusing! when you order here, you choose a sandwich category (i believe the numbers are 1-8 depending on what you want) and everything is separated. for instance, if you want a chicken sub they have a bag with all of the chicken subs listed on it. if you want turkey, they have that as well! i LOVE how you order here because they have so many options and a crap ton of toppings that you can add on for free. they also let you choose up to two types of cheese! i got the italian sub with lettuce, red onion, spinach, mustard and pickles with provolone cheese. they give you an option of a toasted or non-toasted sub and i opted for the toasted, simply delicious. it was one of the best subs i had eaten. they have a nice assortment of chips, cookies and shakes! they even have a bacon shake for those who are into that kinda thing. i definitely recommend which wich over potbelly and subway!

Did takeout here today, there was a $3 off code in the Troy paper for online ordering (code is BACK2SCHOOL, I believe). I tried the Grinder sandwich minus salami, and I added pickles, garlic, balsamic vinaigrette. I had never been to a Which Wich before so I asked one of the employees how the process worked, it seems pretty interesting and straightforward. Reminded me of Mia Za's in Ann Arbor, where you grab a sheet (or a bag, in this case) and choose all your ingredients on paper. The sandwich was tasty although $8.50 for a medium seems a little pricey (though no more than Jersey Mikes down the street). With the $3 off it was a good price. Make sure to grab a punch card too, for every ten sandwiches you get a free one.

Awesome. Very good black bean and hummus sandwich. I've never had anything bad here, but being vegetarian that's my go-to. The workers are always really polite as well... It's also in the parking lot where I play hockey, which is probably only convenient for people that play hockey at Troy Sports Center, but whatever. I'm not sure how many locations there are, but I definitely wouldn't be mad if they built one in Ferndale. Hint, hint.

An associate suggested Which Wich for lunch. Interesting method to order- pick the bag for the sandwich you want, select all the options such as salad, size of sandwich, dressing, sauces, veggies, hot/cold, and hand the order to the cashier. They're well staffed, so it was surprising that my salad order took as long as it did (but it wasn't very long). Price was reasonable, and it was a good sized salad- italian meats, spinach, lettuce, cranberries, and other veggies. Would definitely come back and try some of their other offerings. Recommend and will repeat!

Sandwiches are my favorite food and I can be picky about them and Which Wich does a fantastic job. Their concept is different from other sandwich shops in that you write down your order on the sandwich sleeve which I think would not only cut down on errors, but it also gives you time to plan out your toppings. Their sandwiches are broken out into categories (turkey, ham & pork, beef, chicken, seafood, veggie, Italian, classics) and within each category there are different sandwich variations along with topping recommendations. Their topping list is quite extensive including 10 different kinds of cheese, 9 spreads and sauces, 4 mustards, 4 mayos, 8 dressings, 3 kinds of onions, plus a large variety of veggies, oils, spices and extras. They have 3 different sandwich sizes ranging from 7-14 inches and you can also get your meal as a salad, lettucewich or "skinny" where they remove some of the bread filling. They also do hot sandwiches and their homemade potato chips are really good.

This place is unique and interesting. When you arrive you decide what type of sandwich you're in he mood for: turkey, chicken, ham, Italian, roast beef....you get the picture. From there you grab a bag that corresponds with the type of sandwich you want. Then you grab a sharpie and get to work! On the bag there are different topping options from cheese, to sauce to veggies, you can pick as many as you want. And they definitely have a large selection to choose from, it's hard to decide! You also pick your size and if you want it cold or warm. You then hand them your bag (and your $$) and viola! you get a yummy unique sandwich made just for you! I tried the chicken warmed up with a whole bunch of veggies and some hummus. It was really good. They also have cookies and milkshakes but I didn't try those so I can't comment but they looked yummy. I will definitely be back to try a new concoction!

SO HAPPY WHICH WICH IS IN TROY! These are by far the best sandwiches you can get. Wide selection and quality food. The service is great... this location seems to be really happy to be working at Which Wich. So excited to skip Potbelly and head to Which Wich now.

Tried the Italian and the wicked and both were great! I love the amount toppings you could get (most are free!). The small is still pretty big and getting it "hot" makes all the difference! The homemade chips were great as well. Only weird part was the ordering process. Some people were really confused on how to order but I felt rude to pass them up even though my little baggy was all filled out! Toppings were fresh and meats didn't feel nasty and vinyly in my mouth lol give em a try, they were pretty good!

Good food and i'm a fan of filling out my order on a bag instead of explaining it to an employee who might not understand english..

My wife introduced me to WW a few weeks ago. She knows I am not a Subway fan as it seems like all you get is a lot of bread. Taste is ok but heavy. WW I find to be a very pleasant change. The sandwich options are so vast because of the combinations. My wife has zeroed in on the seafood and me the BLT. But all the sandwiches are great. You grab a bag in the type of area you want such as beef, pork, etc and then customize. They are usually busy which is a good sign. People who work there are very pleasant to say the least. I took off 1 star as the Whichs are a little on the expensive side. But the quality is certainly great.

So I think this place is pretty awesome!!! I have been to which wich a few times and I have never been disappointed. I love the whole setup of it all. From coming in choosing your bag placing your order on it until the time they call your name. Their process is so simple, and the food is soo good. If you haven't tried it yet, go now!!

The food is decent. The sandwiches are pretty tasty but a bit over priced. Filling out the paper for your order is kind of cool. Once placing the order it took just a bit to long to make the sandwiches, I waited for about 15 minutes, so be prepared to wait. I got the Turkey sandwich with stuffing and I asked to try the stuffing and I got told that I couldn't. I guess if I'm in a pinch I would go back.

Kind of disappointed in this place, the Philly cheese steak was quite small and waaaay overpriced. Nothing special as far as the quality of the food. I might try it once more, they have an extensive menu but truly unimpressed. Dibella's remains the best sandwich place in my opinion.

I like the concept here. First you select the sandwich you want and get bag for that sandwich off the wall Then using a provided marker, you mark off all the toppings, veggies and sauces you would like to add. So the numbers of combinations and the customization choices are pretty much limitless. I selected a small "Wicked" and although this sandwich was a little bit more expensive because of the number of meats, it turned out to be a nice choice. The meats were tasty and a small was enough. I had marked off a cold sandwich because I thought a cold cut sandwich should be cold, but when I got to the register, the cashier convinced me that a hot sandwich was a better choice for this restaurant. So I went with the hot one and it was great decision. The placement of my selected items was like an assembly line. Each person behind the counter was responsible for placing certain things on the sandwich. So they all just read the bag which was suspended from a sliding cable, and placed what I wanted on the sandwich. This included a short hop for the bread and meat on a heated conveyor. Finally, they called my name when the sandwich was completed and I took it to a table. The sandwich was pretty good. It was not huge and it was certainly not cheap. In fact, as this kind of place goes, I think it was a tad overpriced. But I like the concept and the food was quite tasty. Service was fast considering that it was completely custom sandwich, but it was not as fast as say a Subway, a Jimmy Johns or a DiBellas. But I will certainly try it again. Maybe nest time I will get the meatball. The picture looked good.

The food was so good. This place is way better than Subway!! The creativity of the store it's really cool. I like that you personalize you wich by filling out a bag. The atmosphere was very welcoming. Can't wait to go back again!!!

Holy cow. This place knocks any other sub place to the curb. I went in there during a winter storm Sunday. No one in there. They were very helpful helping me understand their menu. I got the Wicked. 5 meats, 3 cheeses and then you build your own dressing and toppings by marking it on a paper bag and you turn it in to them to build. The horseradish mayo was the perfect compliment to this sub. I can tell you I don't think I will ever go to Tubbys or Subway again and Jimmy Johns may have lose a regular customer as well. Oh and the calorie count is ridiculous for the Oreo shake but it was my "off" day so got it. Really the best I've ever had. Check it out! I bit pricy but worth it compared to the other sub shops around.

This is a "like" not "love" place. The people are kind and helpful, but where this place stops short is in the things that are most essential - ingredients and beverages. The meat is somewhat bland, Jimmy Johns has better quality meats. They have a much larger selection and you can't find a Cuban in many places around town. Cuban was decent, but nothing that truly sucked me in and made me look forward to the next bite. Simple fountain drinks, would benefit from having a wider selection. I would suggest it for a try, but it isn't "go to" material.

I was very happy that Which Wich was finally in Troy. I have enjoyed the food before in the Chicago area. Unfortunately, my first visit will be my last at this location based on the following experience: I placed a web order, paid via credit card, & had my son pick up the order. I texted my son the order info so he would know what to expect from the order. The receipt that was stapled to the bag was 100% correct, however, the contents IN the bag were not. I placed the following order: 3 small sandwiches, 2 hot, 1 Italian plain & cold 3 bags of house chips 3 shakes I received 3 hot sandwiches. The Italian had everything on it including a ridiculous amount of crushed up house chips. The turkey reuben was correct, the other sandwich was hot, but not the correct sandwich. I received 1 bag of the 3 bags of house chips & 2 of the 3 shakes ordered. I called the store to speak with a manager & the first FOUR calls sent me to their answering machine?! I asked my son if they were busy & he laughed & said that there was only one other person in the store. So, I called again, & a gentleman answered. I asked to speak with the manager. He replied, "yeah, that's me". I began telling him the above scenario (calmly, not being rude as I am in a customer driven profession) he interrupted me & said, "so I'm guessing you want a refund or something?" I wasn't expecting that statement, but I remained calm (at this point not wanting to) & said, "no, actually I would like my correct order." He asked me what it was. I gave him the order number & he said that doesn't help him (ok?) so I repeated the entire order to him. He then said, "Write my name on the back of your receipt, it's HEWITT. Bring it with you next time you come in & you'll get your order. You have 30 days to use it, or you will lose out." To say that I was now, shocked, angry, & highly irritated at this point would be an understatement. I told him, "Well, I want the order NOW, so my son will be back in15 minutes to pick it up." He said, "Fine, sorry for your inconvenience, & make sure he brings the receipt." 15 minutes later when my son went back, there were no customers in the store, AND our order wasn't made yet. My son did finally come home with the correct order & the food was fine, but based on the unprofessional attitude of the manager & awful customer service, I will not be returning to the Troy location.

I like this place, I do, but without fail they mess up your order. I've been to the Troy location 3 times and every time they mess it up. They only end up putting 1/3 of the toppings you checked on your order.

I ordered a small elvis wich cold at 1:31pm there was a single hot sandwich small in front of me from my friend and no one behind me. I didnt get my order until 1:38pm. There were 3 people making sandwiches and one cashier. That is wayyy too long of a time for a cold sandwich with 4 ingredients and no modifications. Will not be back as none of the employees had personalities. This store needs improvement. Final words. Skip this place go to Joe cools for a better sandwich.
