I think the food is good. The service is horrible in my opinion. One time the totally forgot my food. Another time our waitress forgot our extra fries and came 30 minutes late. And they didn't have anybody to sing happy birthday to me.

Chain burger joint that neither impresses nor disappoints. Burgers are their focus, and there are many from which to choose. Had the Banzai Burger and it was decent, although impossible to eat without a fork and knife. Upgraded to the sweet potato fries and they were underwhelming. Beer selection could use a boost to keep up with the popularity of craft beers. Servers were friendly and attentive. The one negative thing that sticks out is their menu -- it is the most confusing spiral bound collection of laminated pages I have ever seen. Be prepared to spend 10 minutes trying to figure out what your options are! Lots of TVs throughout the bar and the dining rooms, so it's a good place to catch a game on TV.

Wasn't too happy with our latest visit here. Our server Kendra was great, the food notsomuch. My burger was no more than a patty still a little cold, it came out plain on a plate though I'd asked to be wrapped in lettuce. They then took it back and just threw lettuce on top of it, there was no sauce on my prime chophouse burger either, and the gourmet sautéed mushrooms were raw. Needless to say I was disappointed with the food, but we did like out waitress

Good drink. Great waitress. Cold hamburger. and cold grilled chicken sandwich. Offered to replace food but had event to attend. Famous for hamburger and can't even serve it warm let alone hot‼. Not good‼. First and last time there.

My co workers thought the burgers were good, but who can't make a burger?? Same can be said about salads. Apparently, at this Red Robin, it's really hard to make a good salad. I ordered the "Insane Romaine" The server brought me the Lame Romaine. I waited about a half hour for mostly wilted lettuce. But I got a free re-fill on my coke!

It's amazing how different locations can change. This location is great compared to other Red Robin locations in the area. We enjoyed the half order of wings and chips which came with 8 wings and a full plate of chips. I think they gave us the full order for the half order price, but that's fine with me. :) The iced tea is amazing here. They also have peach and raspberry flavored tea that tastes good as well. Food came out as ordered. The meat was ordered well-done and was a tad undercooked, but still tasted fine - so no biggie. Love the low carb food options here -- including the lettuce wrapped burgers and bottomless broccoli. These options keep me coming back! This Red Robin is very clean and wasn't very busy during our visit. The waitress was very attentive and kept the drinks refilled. This is by far my favorite Red Robin location in the area.

The food is standard, the service is awful. Even when calling ahead for a carry out on a limited lunch break, food is never ready on time. My coworker and I tried this place out for lunch a couple of times because it's so close to our office but we wasted our entire lunch waiting for our order to be taken. Would not recommend it unless you're willing to wait hours for your food.

I've liked Red Robin in the past, don't go often but today decided to give this location a shot. My server is what really brought down the whole meal. She said she's get me a refill, then took care of two other tables, someone else brought our meal, and I had to share my dates drink at one point. It was a really long wait to order, to get the bill, everything. My date got a burger with the extra 1.50 for onion rings, his whole plate had 5, not good portions. My cod was bland, but the steak fries were good in my fish and chips meal. I also got a berry lemonade, which was really good, but the way the glass is shaped and all the ice packed in it was nothing for $5. We ended up paying $40 for our meal, and couldn't wait to get out the door. He really liked the burger though, and the decor is nice.

Loved our trip to rr. Our server was very nice and slid in jokes here and there to make our first visit easy. Our daughter loved her to. And kept stealing her pens whenever she (TOmmi) came over. They both just laughed. The DGB she suggested was super amazing. Will definitely be back for the burger and request our super nice server :) Thank you rr. It was amazing :)

It took us a while to try Red Robin but when we did we were pleasantly surprised. After a long day in the D we wanted something fast with a fun atmosphere, inside it is decorated nicely and lively. The service was average, and the food was pretty good. I like the Steak fires (most places do not have then) and the Blue Cheese Cheeseburger with an Onio bun was good to and better then I have had other places for sure (Logans, TGI Fridays). The Mile High Pie dessert was pretty good, I find most desserts do not compare to the Olive Garden and Cheesecake Factory and Red Robin is no exception. We would go to a Red Robin again.

I think Red Robin is pretty good. he endless fries are fun but lets be honest, who asks for another order? I like the variety of burgers and you can build your own so that helps! Worth it, never a wait for a table either. i would say, eat there, don't get it to go.

I was there for dinner last night.. it's wasn't the greatest. The first fries we got were cold. I bit into something hard in my burger.. the second batch of fries were good and hot.. I could have went somewhere else to get a burger that was just as expensive. Definitely not the best burger for the price.

I hadn't been to a Red Robin in years but I wanted to use my birthday burger freebie, which lets you get either a burger or chicken sandwich. I got the bruschetta chicken burger, and said no lettuce, and it had lettuce on it (*sigh*) ... but otherwise it tasted good. Go for the garlic parmesan fries, too - I'm not even sure if they still have them listed on the menu, but they're fantastic. Service was fine and the location was nice and clean, I would go back here if I'm ever craving Red Robin.

My husband and I are regulars at the Red Robin in Madison Heights. The food is always good, but the noise level of the restaurant kept us from going more frequently. A friend told us to try the Troy location. We are SO glad we did. We visited last night and arrived at about 8:30. HAPPY HOUR! A pitcher of beer is $5 and 20 0z glasses are $2. With $3,$5, and $7 appetizers, you can't go wrong! Our server, Ashley, was wonderful! She was warm, friendly and pleasant. She took our drink order right away and we got our yummy onion tower appy with 2 side sauces very quickly. We both ordered burgers. Mine was the Shroom Burger and I added onion straws at no extra charge. The burger was cooked perfectly, as was my husband's, the Whiskey River BBQ burger, his favorite. What we love about RR is their sides. Bottomless steak fries or salad or fruit or even broccoli. As much as you want, why, you can eat sides until you fall over! I love their iced tea, too, and let me tell you, they have a wedge salad as an appy that will blow your mind! F or $3 it is such a deal!! Sometimes, I order a bowl of French onion soup and the wedge salad. For $8, it is more than a bargain!! Ask about their burger club. If you order 9 burgers, your 10th is free. They add up fast and you get to choose any burger on the menu for free! Also, you get a free burger on your birthday! How can you go wrong! In addition, we sat on the bar side of the restaurant. It is way more quiet than the other side. We had a wonderfully relaxing evening, drank good beer, ate great food and watched the Tiger ball game! A slice of Heaven, for sure!

WARNING!!!! Do not go to Red Robin on 13 Mile and John R., they have a waiter working there who is a THIEF!!! I had dinner with my husband and son on Saturday and when I got home I realized my phone was missing. I quickly sent my husband back to get it knowing I left it on the table. My husband asked our waiter Cody if he saw our phone but he quickly dismissed my husband and said he had not. Our find my iPhone app clearly showed the phone in the restaurant. Next morning the find my phone app showed my phone at a location in Highland Park, down to a specific address. I went back to Red Robin and asked the manager if he could confirm the address was that of my waiter Cody and it was. Cody still denied he took my phone and I am not going to knock on his door in Highland Park for it. He was not fired and to all staff and patrons of this Red Robins, WATCH YOUR BELONGINGS AND CASH TIPS LEFT ON THE TABLE!!! CODY THE WAITER IS A THIEF!!!!!

Red Robin used to be a very popular place for my friends and I to go out to eat at in high school. Nowadays I will go a few times a year, mostly with family. I really like all of the bun and patty options available for their burgers. You can customize your sandwich with a wide variety of buns, including wheat and a lettuce wrap. You can also select your type of patty, from beef to turkey to veggie. Combined with various side options, along with the standard bottomless fries, Red Robin is usually a fine place for an easy dinner. Are their burgers mind-blowing and awesome? No. But they're consistent at what they do.

I was to meet a buddy for lunch and he gave me the wrong address. I am lost if I can't use my GPS, so when the address turned out to be useless, I called him on the phone and asked him where I really should be. He realized his mistake and he offered to meet me at this great place he knows and gave me that address. So I ended up at the same Red Robin I visited last time. Well it was better and it was worse. The burger was a bit rarer than the medium rare I ordered. But I guess that is better than the other way around. I had a Royal Burger that includes a fried Egg, bacon cheese and more. That too was tasty. I tried a different kind of bun that I have not had at this chain before. It was a Jalapeno Kaiser bun and I really liked it. I also appreciated the frequent refills on our beverages and the offer and delivery of more nice hot fries. We sat and munched them as we chatted. What was a bit hard to take was the cost of the meal. We each had a burger and fires and nothing to drink other than water. Yet the tab with tip and tax was over $ 13.00 each. I don't mind spending that amount for a great meal at a fine place, but for a burger an fries? I think Red Robin has drifted out of control. Yeah, I would go back, but I certainly am not rushing back.

I have given this restaurant its last shot, I am done. Subpar service and what good is bottemless fries when they come out undercooked and soggy multiple times in a row and you don't get to eat them with your meal. I have talked to management and was told each time it would be addressed. I am through will never spend another of my dollars here again. Going to Fuddruckers.

My co-worker and I ate in here with an hour for lunch. Granted, we went at noon (not our choice), so it was bound to be busy. But we sat at the bar (cut out the middle man, went straight to the bartender for ordering), but it took quite a while for our entire process, anyway. Apparently, someone called off (that's what I could gather from the chatter between the staff) during a heavy lunch time. We scarfed our food down very quickly, but from what I could tell, it was tasty, as expected from Red Robin! I had the turkey burger and added avacado slices. It was hot and ready and so was I (for the food!) The seasoned fries were as good as they usually are, as well. I definitely wouldn't go during lunch rush hour again.

Its not often I would consider a franchise to be such a great restaurant but this place has great burgers. They also have gluten free buns for my wife. She thinks they are the best gluten free buns ever. I gave them four stars because their tap water tastes weird.

Have dined at this Red Robin in the past several times, however this was first time with our sleeping 5 month old. Went here to watch Sat night college football after a long day. Would not let us sit in booths in "bar" area as we had a child and all the tables in other area you can't see TVs. Additionally, main area we would have to wait. Stated corporate policy. Understand kids and do realize we have to make life changes, but our kid can't walk nor talk. Even talked to Manager, but no go. Waitress we knew was "shocked". We are now at BW3s with now issues.

Oh tons of things to say about my experience today. We arrived and looked over the menu and placed our order like anyone else. Only to sit and wait, and wait and wait.... Finally after 30 minutes of waiting I asked the waiter whats taking so long. The girlfriend and I ordered a Crispy Chicken Salad and the A1 Peppercorn Burger. The waiter said that they ran out of grilled chicken and had to cook some more. I said, but we didn't order grilled chicken, we ordered a crispy chicken salad. He quickly corrects himself and says that they needed to Fry up some more chicken. Me Knowing that Red Robin receives all their food from Sysco, I know the chicken for the salads are just chicken strips that are thrown into a fryer for 5 minutes. The manager comes over and brings our food and apologizes for the wait, he said they are short staffed today and a little behind. I said oh okay, the waiter said you ran out of chicken and they had to cook more. The manager said, I'm not sure why he would say that but it's not true. He apologizes and says he will comp one of our meals for us. Very nice thing to do. We begin to eat and we open our silverware only to find some gummy paste substance all over both our knives. Let the waiter know and he gave us an attitude like we put it there or something. Really? Yes we came in there and rubbed the knives on who knows what. Manager comes back over and apologizes and agrees to comp the entire meal. Yes this was a nice gesture for the manager to do. However I do not appreciate being lied to by an employee and then given an attitude. I think our waiter is in the wrong line of business and should probably start looking at other career opportunities elsewhere. Never have I been treated like this by a waiter or waitress anywhere I've ever been to. Sucks that I work close by and used to go here a lot. Probably going to wait a while before returning here. Sucks because I work very close and often came here for lunch. But after this experience....

I got sat at a comfortable booth with a fantastic view of the dish room. Instead of reading my book during my meal, I watched the servers pre bus their tables and throw away leftover burgers and fries. The manager also had some entertaining discussions while rushing around next to my table. I ordered the bleu burger. Like the photo in the menu, I was expecting large crumbles of bleu cheese covering my burger with a spicy chipolte mayo and fried onions. The burger itself was delicious. However, the kosher salt like sprinkling of bleu cheese was disappointing. Why even call it a bleu burger? Service started out great with an immediate water refill. As soon as my burger arrived, the server handed me the bill and I never saw him again. I noticed they now have a bar in this location. In fact, I saw my neighbor enjoying himself with a few brews. Word on the street is the happy hour is a good time. I may be back for that, but not for a burger in the restaurant area.

It's hard to take burgers to another level of awesome, but Red Robin does it. I eat a lot of burgers. At home, I can't jazz it up much beyond ketchup, mustard and sometimes Cajun seasoning, but Red Robin thinks up so many awesome things you need to try. They have a plethora of different burgers I'm sure you've never thought of. One burger has a fried egg on it! This location is located in the heart of Troy's Office Space joke center, which means you'll probably see a lot of people here at lunch having a case of the Mondays and bitching about the paper jams. Other than the white collar location, this is a nice little joint and the staff is lots of fun. They have some quality drink specials and the burgers aren't too expensive for what they are. PS, the Jalepeno burger is not too hot, just the right amount of kick. Give it a try. PSS, unlimited fries with your meal, but you'll be stuffed enough where one helping is plenty. PSSS, sign up for the Red Robin Burger club on their website a few days before your birthday and you'll get a free burger. Free + Burger = American Awesomeness.

I have worked in quite a few roles in the restaurant industry, and also dine out frequently. I am always astonished at how friendly, accommodating, and efficient the staff is at this Red Robin restaurant in Troy. These days, there are so many people in the service industry who don't know what good service is.. who act like they are doing you a favor when you go to their restaurant or sit in their section. The staff at this Red Robin is wonderful, and I am very happy with the service and the food.. The burgers are always good, and I am very picky about my burgers. The only other place I get burgers in the area is Red Coat Tavern, so to be on the same level as them, this Red Robin deserves a lot of credit. Keep up the good work!

Let me start this review by saying that I love Red Robin. My fiance and I met at Red Robin and whenever we want to have a fun inexpensive date we find the nearest Red Robin eat until we're in a burger coma. So why the low review? This particular Red Robin is definitely sub par. The fries were mushy and over salted. The burgers were cooked well but if you top a piping hot burger with FROZEN vegetables and cold condiments it ruins the whole thing. The server was attentive and it was actually quiet when we went. If you want delicious Red Robin Burgers I suggest going to another location.

I patronize this place since it opened! I would come here with friends for food and fun! I love the theme song, "Red Robin.... hmmmm...." If you like burgers, this is your dream come true... gluttony style, but you can order the natural burger which has all the simple, low-calorie ingredients. You'll be a fan of it. The endless/bottomless fries and lemonade drinks will make you a fan, too! My favorite is the Natural Burger. Great affordable price too!

'Can't echo the enthusiasm of the other merry reviews. What is a burger joint if it can't prepare a burger medium-rare? First of all, I don't even want to eat a burger that's cooked more than medium-rare. Secondly, nobody who asks for a burger medium-rare means "No pinkness, please." And yet, every time I've gone to Red Robin for a burger, which I've ordered medium rare (and later, "Medium-rare--on the rare side, please," in order to compensate for their "thorough"-cooking bias) they've failed to cook my burger properly. No pinkness in my burger, no pleasure in my bite. It's true that the Whiskey River Burger and the one with guacamole are packed with bold flavors (especially the former, which comes with oh-so-good carmelized onions and a tangy, sloppy BBQ sauce), and that they have endless, think-cut steak fries complete with Red Robin's proprietary msg powder (I don't really know what it is, but it's savory and delicious) but I'm sorry--if you're a burger place and you can't cook burgers properly, that's an automatic fail in my book (especially if your burgers are $10). And Red Robin has failed me repeatedly. One of the waiters even told me once that the cooks "aren't allowed to cook rarer than 'medium.'" Exsqueeze me? Is that because the meat is of low quality, or because the cooks ride the short bus? You're a loudly-decorated BURGER JOINT, RR, and burgers are not supposed to be cooked more than medium rare, IMO. I wish they would change their policy or get new cooks. The only time I would recommend going here is between 3-6 p.m. during the week, when they have a happy hour that includes very tall $2 drafts (of Coors and Bud) and 1/2 off appetizers. But mostly I just wouldn't recommend going, unless you have a kid; I would not be surprised if most kids enjoyed the atmosphere and colorful drinks. I used to.

The last couple visits to this Red Robin have been very disappointing with less than average service, mistaken orders and slow to get drunk refills. Although Red Robin is typically impressive, this particular location falls well below the expectation. Quick tip - If you haven't already tried their chicken, I recommend the sandwich while my wife prefers the chicken wrap.
