What's the big deal with this place? And Chipotle too, for that matter. Their menu is an upgraded version of the Taco Bell-esque "all Mexican food is a variation of the same 5 ingredients mixed together in different ways" model. Rice, beans, meat, veg toppings, and tortilla......rinse and repeat. I've eaten here a few times and the chicken is always painfully dry, and all of the food is on the cold side. Blah. On the plus....it's fast, their employees are absolutely delightful, and the guacamole is excellent.

Quick, cheerful, and delicious!! I always go for their naked burrito, but I am disappointed with their price raise.

I love this place! In my opinion I think its way better than chipotle. The staff last was awesome. So friendly and up for conversation. I LOVE LOVE the shredded beef quesadilla and the mexican gumbo is out of this world...and always ask for extra cheese! I just love this place for " fast food" I wish they sold some the stuff in stores. its just so yummy in my tummy!

I stopped in at a Qdoba that was not my regular one. Although the taste was quite good, like it always is, the lady behind the counter found it necessary to go real fast and the burrito came open and had to be eaten with a knife and fork. Since I was the only person in line, I found this great speed and slopiness unnecessary.

Decided to try it out since it's pretty close to my house. Usually head over Chipotle, but wanted to give Qdoba a try. I ordered a burrito and some chips. Chipotle definitely makes better burritos, but the chips at Qdoba are a must! Definitely stop by to try some chips. :)

Wow. This was my first time at this location, and this 2-star is solely for the employees. I'm sure on other shifts this place can't be this bad... My BIL and I came to place an order of 5 burritos. The guy starting us out (putting the tortillas in the steamer) had absolutely no clue what was going on. I don't know how many times we had to repeat what we wanted on the burritos -- they only do one burrito at a time, and we still had to go step by step, it would have been faster if I could have just stepped behind the counter. He almost dropped one of the tortillas, he caught it with his front body, and he still used it. When he put ingredients in the tortilla, he made such a mess of the ingredient trays (like slopping sour cream into the pico sauce), I just couldn't believe how unmotivated and sloppy he was. Because of how slow the service was, a line eventually started forming behind us, which got the other lady anxious. My BIL had the app with a free entree voucher on it, but they couldn't get it working/scanning. Then the lady ringing us up said she already put in the amount and couldn't use our app to pay (huh?). Oh, and they forgot our quesadilla even though it was already made -- we had to go back inside to get it, thank God we checked the order first before driving off. I would never go back to this location again. We've never had an issue with the 12 Mile & Mound Qdoba.

Avoid this particular Qdoba store. We went here because our usual Qdoba on Rochester and Auburn road closed. We were not happy with our visit. For example the workers mixed up portions of our quesadillas so that two of four pieces of my order was in my daughters' order while two of hers were in mine yet we ordered different stuff inside our quesadillas. Also, when they were taking the quesadillas off the grille some pieces fell to the table instead of our plates. And, one piece was going to fall to the floor but was caught by the worker's belly between her belly and the counter. She just plopped the piece on our plate anyway. Yuk! Also, the amounts put on our quesadillas were much less than we got at our usual store.

I went here on a Sunday afternoon with my family. The place is really clean and nice. There were some people there, but no line which was nice. The staff were kind and made my burrito just right. Overall I was really happy with this Qdoba.

I'm just gonna say it...Qdoba is better than Chipotle. Better flavor and salsas! Bowls and burritos are quick and easy and don't taste incredibly unhealthy or overly salty.

This is THE worst Qdoba I have ever encountered. During the winter months I wanted to grab a burrito from here, but it looked like they were closed for the night or permanently. After a couple weeks I realized that they were not lighting the sign. This was red flag number one, but on I ventured. When I went to order at the empty store around eight in the evening, I noticed all the sauces had that dried over surface indicating that they were untouched. Red flag number two, but here I am. I order and the girl had to go in the back to get the portly, lazy kid running the evening shift because here wrist injury wouldn't allow her to roll up a burrito. I get the pork burrito and such and sit down to eat it on site. The meat in the burrito was cold and totally bland, bereft of any flavor. No spices at all. While I was trying to choke this down, another group come in and order. The portly, lazy kid loudly states what he likes about Qdoba is they can leave the moment they close. Nothing holds them up. I realize for sure this kid is trying to keep customers away by keeping the lights off, serving bad food and trying to get out of work at the earliest possible moment. I threw more than half of my nearly ten dollar burrito in the trash and walk out in disgust. AVOID THIS QDOBA!

Very bad customer service! I asked the server what can I get and he had an attitude. I'll stick with Chipotle!

This Qdoba isn't up to par with the Royal Oak Qdoba. quality of food coming out just isn't as good. Chips I had were stale and my wife noticed they were using a first in first out method on the chips... putting more chips into before they removed all the old chips (WEAK).... Also the cleanliness of the place just isn't there. It's not dirty but I've experienced much better. I probably won't be going back to this Qdoba ever again.

I had a hankering for some Solid , Quick Mexican Food today. so I slid into the Qdoba at Big Beaver & Rochester Rd. at 10:57 am I was greeted with a welcoming hello and they were grilling all of their Chicken for the day, man did that look "Enticing" So I ordered the 2 for $5.99 One bowl of Mexican Gumbo with all 3 salsas and Chicken, Sour Cream One Chicken soft taco & One Chicken hard shell taco + all 3 Salsas & sour cream and for once I had the opportunity to sit in Qdoba & enjoy it versus eating on the fly. all 3 were very good & "Hit The Spot"

There are a number of chains that do the fast - fresh Mexican theme. The most prominent in this area are Rio Wraps, Baja Fresh and Qdoba. Of these, I like Qdoba best. Their service is always good and their food seems less salty than the others. They are also open late on Sundays. This Qdoba location is quite a good one. The people at the counter are friendly and fast. I highly recommend it.

Always a solid choice for quick Mexican-y food. I love that I can get the nachos with chips on the side. Nothing like a bowl of nacho-slop! Mmm. They also have a rewards card, every few visits, your meal is FREE! Allllright.

I placed a carryout order of approximately 7 items and the woman taking the order read back the items to me to make sure it was correct. Upon picking up the food, I asked if all the items were in the bag and she assured me it was. When I got back to my place of work, sure enough, an item was missing.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
