I LOVE Panera. They were open on Easter! Hooray! We came to this mall to do a bit of shopping only to find two stores open. Thank god for Panera! We ordered a turkey sandwich which was good but not amazing. We really came here for the bread. We bought a bread to go for dinner. They sliced it for us. Pretty cozy here. Bathrooms in the back.

Stopped in one morning for some bagels! I see why everyone speaks so highly of this place, the bagels were awesome. I Tried the cinnamon crunch bagel, very good, the blueberry was yummy too. I also tried there yogurt and granola parfait, which really hit the spot. I will be back.

If you've been to one Panera Bread, you've been to them all. The food is generally the same. It's nutritious, fresh, natural and well made. The bread is soft and chewy and delicious. The soups all taste good and are seasoned well. I like this Panera better than most. It's a smaller Panera, so it can get crowded, but it normally isn't. Unlike most of the Paneras I've been to (like the couple in Southfield) people aren't sitting in here for hours running their business from their cell phone and Panera's wifi. I think this Panera is a little cozier and little more friendly.

Panera is...panera. It's mediocre. A perfect 2.5. There's certainly better bagels and sandwiches and not ALL are nutritious. A turkey sandwich with 920 calories?! I'll stop if nothing else sounds good. This one does get busy a lot though. That said one suggestion; when someone asks for cream cheese for 4 bagels don't give me 4 individual cups at $1.20 a piece. Give me a tub. It was only this last time but it seems like a scam to me.

Place is pretty crowded, not enough space to move around. Was sitting under one of the vent fans and found a bunch of dirt & dust was landing in our food as we were eating. They need clean the vents more regularly. Food got replaced and we switched seats. Good food as usual.

Yet another Panera, but in a different part of the area. Similar to the other Panera, its a good place to find a drink and a decent snack/meal. This one is a little tough to find, the signage was hidden by a row of trees. Its especially difficult to see when driving East on 14 Mile, as it sits on the North side of the street. It's a good size Panera, with two coffee stations. Typical pastries, breads and bagels are baked onsite. Honestly it wasn't that busy. I was heading to the Krispy Kreme, until I spied this Panera location. I like the bear claws and the soup in the bread bowl.

Things I like about Panera in general: - Greater variety of ingredients and flavors in their menu items than you find at other "fast food" (cause it's not really fast food) places - posted calorie counts for every menu item - their soups and breads are always good - they have some excellent low calorie items that can give you a delicious lunch without breaking your diet Things I like about this particular location: - large space with lots of seating and outlets for laptop working - fastest service I've had at any Panera location, even in spite of the fact it was a dinner rush Things I dislike about Panera: - too expensive for their own good (Writing this review has made me crave a bowl of lemon chicken orzo w a baguette....)

This panera is very generous... They give bigger portions compared to others... And fast service

A couple times a month, I meet up with a good friend at this location, and we have a quick lunch and catch up. This place is way too small for the amount of business it attracts. Last time there was a line stretched all the way to front door, which is a cardinal sin in the realm of fast food. There are never enough places to sit, and it's always a fierce cannibalistic battle to try and stake a claim on the one of the booths. I always try and get a booth myself, because it's the only way to get some privacy. For some odd reason, really nosy people like to eat at Panera Bread, and I just can't shake that feeling that someone is listening to every word of my conversation. The food itself has always been hit or miss for me, which has shackled me into becoming a notorious 'Static Order', always getting the same thing when I go, just because I'm so unsure of the other choices and don't want to be disappointed. For reference I always get Asiago Roast Beef and a bowl of Broccoli Cheddar. I like to stop here if I'm hungry and on my way to Oakland Mall. It's sure a lot better than eating at the food court, which I highly beg all of you not to for the simple fact that the tables there have that 'stickiness' to them. You know what I'm talking about. This place is what it is, a corporate feeding trough that like every other chain restaurant, offers very little appeal but somehow sucks all of us in.

Look - I like the cookies and didn't have one during this visit . Therefore it shouldn't come as a surprise that this visit left me unsatisfied. For starters - I had one of my all time favorite soup and sandwich combos - however, the Panera Bread way is now way my way to make this one stick. The bread seemed old - a bit too hard and there was no where near enough peanut butter on that bread - the jelly had little taste and the bowl of chicken noodle soup was one of the worst I've had - Bob Evans is by far much better soup! The service was a bit slow - the soup wasn't hot and the place wasn't that clean. Tables were sticky and the way they have YOU sort your garbage is taxing! The price is reasonably, but based on flavor and quality - a bit over priced.

I love Panera!! I love the soups, the pastas and the salads. They have good lemonade too. Their clam chowder is my favorite, and I never get tired of the sourdough they give you. Yum! The only thing I don't care for at this location is the seating. There just isn't enough!! free wifi! /Soup!

Not a lot of seating at this location. I've seen a lot better layouts at other Paneras. The chocolate brownie is to die for. The person serving us was friendly. I like their soups a lot. I find their sandwiches good, but small portions.

Panera Bread at 14/John R is always busy, but I love everything about the place. The food is always good. I am particularly fond of the broccoli cheese soup or in the fall, the autumn squash soup. They also have a good amount of desserts to choose from. You can't go wrong here!

Usually have a great experience here. This wasn't the case tonight. They were out of bread and didn't tell us until after we ordered. We were not informed at all of what they were out of until we asked why an apple or chips was our only side option. Uhm? Out of bread???? Slightly confused as why Panera BREAD doesn't have bread available. They did offer other bread for my friends sanwhich and sides but it wasn't what I was expecting. They were out of a lot of items which I understand. Just having a hard timing wrapping my head around the bread thing. Also it was NOT clean at all. I had to use napkins and water from the fountain to wipe down my table full of debri. Used Napkins everywhere on the floor and tables. All the booths we tried to sit at had stuff all over them. Not extremely impressed with this visit here. The only thing that was great was my food.

Ordered a day early for bagels/coffee, which were not ready for pick up. Caused a 20 minute delay in the morning while had to wait for them to prepare the order. Very disappointed in this service.

I had a particularly unpleasant experience at this Panera. First of all, the cashier didn't listen to my order and gave me a coffee cup instead of a soda cup. I thought that they had ran out of cups, so I drank from the cup that was given to me, but I checked the receipt and it turns out that she just didn't listen (and did not read my order back to me). Next, I got my food, but the baguette was very cold and clearly not fresh. I asked for it to be heated, but instead of being offered another, I was told to use the microwave next to the coffee station. The microwave was disgusting inside, it seemed like someone spilled soup in it and no one bothered to clean it up. There aren't many options for seating, so we sat next to one of the stations with the dirty dishes, and employees loudly banged silverware and dishes as they cleaned it out. The floor was littered with food wrappers and an employee was vacuuming in the middle of a full dining area. The music was awful and there were some really loud and obnoxious noises coming from the kitchen, like someone was operating an industrial dentist's drill (It sounded nothing like a blender). It was truly awful, but the food itself was alright, same as at any location. I recommend the Panera in Troy on 16 mile and Rochester.
