We ordered Mushroom stroganoff with beef, Indonesian Peanut Saute with chicken and spaghetti with meatballs. The service was fast and the food was amazing as always. I have never been disappointed with the service or food.

I was feeling under the weather with a sore throat and needed something quick and simple for my stomach. My girlfriend took me here (it was her first time as well) and we were both satisfied with the food and service. The employees are very nice and welcoming. Quite environment, similar to Panera. Definitely a place I'll be going often.

I didn't take me very long after getting my meal to remember why I stopped eating here. This place used to have decent food. I don't know what has happened to this location, but the last 2 or 3 times I've come here over the last few months my food has been completely undercooked. How do you expect someone to eat a noodle-based meal, with undercooked noodles? To add insult to injury, there was absolutely no taste. I guess if you're going to destroy a meal, go big or go home, right? It saddens me that this place has gone to the crapper. Oh well. At least there's a Jimmy John's next door.

Well the place is called noodles so maybe I should have expected as much. Both the soup and peanut sauté just had way too many noodles and not enough goodies. It's called peanut sauté, yet I couldn't find one peanut? Gimme veggies, peanuts and a sauce, then at least we have a start. Instead it was a pile of noodles all stuck together with a spice dusting the top. The service was good and the decor is what's expected from a chain. It's was bad food and I may stop back in to try something else, I don't know, for $10 bucks I was just disappointed with a plate of noodles with 4 tiny pieces of broccoli. The peanut thing kills me, if you use an ingredient in the name it absolutely must be in the taste.

Meet friends here before a concert. I got the curry with chicken. I have restrictions. So no mushrooms or spinach. They were accommodating. Although she to ask to replace or add..1:50 for EACH extra. I just added onions. For that price there were not any extra if any onions that were not fresh on top but from a bag of mix salad. The sauce was light but not too salty. I paid over 10 dollars. With No drink! I will try the one being built by me to try a new dish. They do have a variety. But eh..,

Let me just say I wish we had a Noodles and Company closer to where I live downriver. But since we don't and my parents live up in Rochester we drive by this location when we go to visit and we always leave early so we can grab lunch here. Usually on Sunday :) I always get the Pad Thai (which isn't the most authentic pad thai but delicious nonetheless) without cilantro and my husband almost always gets some variation of mac and cheese, current favorite is their bbq pork version. I am almost always pleased with the service, we've had a few hiccups but the staff has always tried to fix them. And speaking of staff, Alex (one of the managers) is a great guy. I always see him helping out and cleaning tables. He's always super friendly to us and has always fixed any problems we've had. We will be back soon and look forward to it!

Noodles & Co. have come a long way since I first experienced the restaurant in college. Back then, they had the punch card that offered a free entree in the end, but they've discontinued that. So there really isn't much of an incentive to go anymore. Overpriced -- but no tipping sorta helps, I suppose. The menu is all Americanized versions of food, even the Asian and Mediterranean varieties. But I do appreciate and takeout boxes that available instead of having to ask. I visited for the first time since those college days I think and was pleasantly surprised with how much of the menu has expanded, but it's confusing because they're not all noodle items. For instance, I had the spicy chicken Caesar flatbread. Plenty of chicken, overflowing with greens, wonton strips and parm with a request for the dressing on the side. The flatbread was so incredibly soft. I'm not sure how well it would hold up had the dressing been inside the sandwich, however. One thing that detracted away from the whole experience: the overly pushy cashier who kept trying to get me to order the Edamame by ignoring my replies of "not today," "maybe next time" and a flat out "no." Continually asking the customer if they want something won't make them order it -- ever. Nice work, bud.

The Asian and Mediterranean dishes are excellent. The American dishes are just average. I recommend the Penne Rosa and the tomato bisque soup

YUM! I went to Noodles & Company today to redeem my free birthday noodles and liked it much better than the last time I visited (different location, but there was nothing wrong with the other one, it just wasn't a restaurant I was eager to return to). They guy who took my order was wonderful. Since I wasn't really familiar with anything, all I knew was that the Truffle Mac looked good. He stated my coupon would also cover the meat, and when asked he recommended the steak. I also got a salad. My daughter requested the spaghetti and meatballs. As I went to order us both beverages, he said there was a kid-sized fountain drink (that I didn't see anywhere on the menu) so that was a bonus. My Truffle Mac with steak was delicious! I even brought the leftovers home and ate them for dinner (it deserves mention, since usually leftovers just visit my fridge for a couple weeks, then get thrown away). And in yet another positive staff experience, as a woman was walking by and busing tables, I asked her for to-go boxes for the rest of our meals. She didn't tell me to stop being so clueless as she grabbed the boxes from the self-serve fountain drink area. I love when I'm acting like a doofus but someone treats me like I'm not :) I look forward to returning :)

Rude on the phone disorganized staff in the back. Food is usually good but served slowly compared to other Noodles. Kind of pressured when checking out to buy other cookies, rice crispy cakes etc.

I got buttered noodles and they were delish. My food came out 7 minutes after I ordered it and it was pipin' hot. I like that they have a Coke Freestyle machine, so I experimented with all sorts of pop combinations. The atmosphere is nice and calm, and the service is always 100% friendly and helpful. On the days that I crave carbs, I head on down to this Noodles.

A guilty pleasure of mine. Buttered noodles with shrimp or the Parmesan encrusted chicken, flat bread, and an orange pop.... least we forget the pot stickers! It's a bit expensive for some noodles, but they are so damn good!!!! The waitstaff at the Rochester location is super friendly and the service is fast. As another reviewer said... I wish there was one closer to me!!! Fat people seating friendly: Yes... all locations I've been to have mostly tables with a few booths.

Good food, fast service, fresh food! Made special requests for my meal and they obliged. The passion iced tea is DELICIOUS!!

Not usually a chain person, but they do it right here. Diverse menu that all tastes good. No servers = no tips. Open kitchen, as always, adds a sense of honesty.

I like this place very much, it reminds me of my college years. My favorite is the mac and cheese followed by the Thai soup. Decent food, decent service and decent prices. Always, good for a quick stop.

This was my first time visiting "noodles & company". It falls into the category of quick casual. If you've ever been to a Fazoli's, it is comparable without the free bread sticks and adding Asian food to the mix. You order at a counter, take your beverage cup, a number and find a seat. The staff brings out your meal, rather quickly and your taste buds are up to bat. Since we used a buy one get one coupon, our lunch cost less than a typical fast food meal. There were 6 of us total. They had something for everyone. I chose The Med Duo. A fresh combination of chicken, mushrooms, spinach, red bell pepper, cucumber, red onion, zippy Med dressing (YUM), cilantro and feta on flat bread. Delicious! It also came with a cup of chicken noodle soup, which tasted just like home, so I was happy. I would consider it more of a lunch place, or one for the girls as the servings weren't outrageously huge. Some ladies did take home part of their meal, so they do serve you "enough" food. Would my husband leave full? No way. Here's an unusual tidbit - Rice Krispy Treats are on the dessert menu!

I've been wanting to try a Noodles and Company for a little while and fate (well, construction on 75 leading me to dare a homemade detour on Rochester road and my insatiable hunger pangs) brought me to this spot. I'm a huge fan of rice noodles and Asian flavors so I went with a combo meal for 7.50 that consisted of a peanut thai noodle dish with a generous portion of chicken and a cup of a Thai/Indo influenced soup. Both were pretty good and served up quickly and made for a nice little lunch. My rating might seem a bit generous but I think this kind of place competes with Panera, Boston Market and other fast-ish food places and not authentic, full service restaurants so I rated it as such. In fact, I'd like to see a location with a drive through even though it might be a little bit slower than a normal drive through (like All American Coney in Woodbridge or Cederland in Warrendale/Dearborn!). And yes, I can eat with chopsticks while I drive and no, I do not text and drive. I'm weird like that.

Mac & Cheese is my 5 year olds favorite, I love the Japanese Pan Noodles.

Noodles is one of my favorite sit-down fast-food chains, and this location is a good one. My only general complaint is that certain dishes taste too salty, especially anything I've tasted with chicken. Regardless, I still love Noodles. My favorite entrees to order are the Japanese Pan Noodles & the Whole Grain Tuscan Linguini. Make sure you try their potstickers too. MMM :)

I've eaten at other Noodles locations AND this location before, and I can say they're definitely consistent. I love the selection, and try something different each time I go (not often, but still a feat for me, since I usually find a favorite and stick with it). It is a tad expensive (I can make a heckuva lotta pasta for what they charge) but it's quick, yummy, the service is good, and I enjoy the unlimited beverage refills. If you sign up for their email newsletter, you get a coupon for a free large dish (with one protein) for your birthday! SCORE!

For fast food noodles (i.e. fast carb fix) it is good. I got a spicy Thai dish, it was somewhat unremarkable. I didn't find it overly spicy, despite the 2 chili pepper rating. What I did find is the meal was a little overpriced for the size of the portion and it was dry - as in not enough sauce. The soup addition was only $1, which seemed like a deal. As others mention, there is no tipping which is nice. And unlike other fast food places, there is real dishes and cutlery. I would go back if someone wanted to go, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

Delicious food from there soups to salads to pastas! And always friendly and great service! My favorites are their penna rosa, strawberry spinach salad, japanese pan noodles, chinese chop salad, and rice crispy treats, but I've tried almost everything and have never been disappointed! The price is right too.

Best chicken soup on town! What more needs to be said. Great atmosphere. Clean. Very friendly.

Nothing to write home about. Pesto is weak, and veggies are few and far between. Chicken looks like it was thrown in as an afterthought. Thai curry soup was so so. Creamy and coconut but not spicy as advertised. Wait staff was great which is the reason this got 3 stars and not 2 or 1 stars. If you want decent pesto fast go elsewhere like Piada or a local Italian place. Personally I won't return to N and C.

We used to go to the Troy (Coolidge Rd.) location but started coming here as we get better service and food. We've eaten here probably ten times and have had good food and fast friendly service every time. Their chicken soup is exceptional; not overly salty and they don't use a soup base--it's very close to home made. I've tried a few different sandwiches and all were good, especially the 'Med' with fresh cilantro and feta. My husband loves their hearty Steak Stroganoff and soups. Portions are a bit small, but seem fair for the price, and we never leave hungry. We didn't expect 'gourmet' food when we went there, but for 'fast' food, this place is pretty good.

For a quick order to go or eat in, this place is top notch. All the food tastes great, is fresh, nice presentation. The manager delivers our food, asked us if it was our first time here and even followed up and took our plates as we finished. My wife and I will definitely return.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
