I rarely ever review fast food places or even eat there in general, but I was really impressed by the service at this particular location. I really love seeing managers doing the dirty work to help the employees and the manager here was doing just that, bussing tables. The cashier noticed I was staring at the menu for awhile on the wall and walked all the way over to me to ask if I need any help and then got me a sample of the sauce. Also, the manager noticed me having trouble twisting the cap off my bottle and came to my table to offer me help then asked how my meal was. Exemplary service for a place that seems like just a fast food joint. I was very impressed.

Stumbled upon this place looking for Thai food. I was impressed. I ordered the Steak Stroganoff. It came out pretty quick, the steak was tender and juicy, but not too juicy to where it messed with the melted Alfredo and Romano cheese. Someone even came out and checked to see if I needed anything. Overall a good experience.

They messed up my order...make sure your very clear on the phone. Haven't tasted the food yet looks good...they gave me a coupon for a free bowl next time...nice!

I love noodles n company, but the girl who cashed me out just 15 minutes ago was so rude! She had side conversation with another coworker, and she gave me my change, and drops my change! Which is fine, but she didn't apologize or nothing for dropping my change that I had to pick up. And gave me my bag without greeting me. Like a "thank you" or "have a nice day" something so simple could go a long way. They need to hire new people who have better customer service.

Went here yet again last week. It would get a 3 out of 5 for me again except for one thing: a manager came over to ask how the meal was and how we were doing. My mom happened to ask if they had any coupons floating around, and he promptly whipped out some BOGO coupons and gave us EACH one. Awesome customer service. The food is always good here, but compared to the Northville + Royal Oak locations they always seem to get something small wrong with my order. This time I wanted to substitute mushrooms for onions, and instead I got what seemed to be extra onions and no mushrooms - when I asked the server about it, they brought over a small bowl of mushrooms, though. My mom asked for the dressing on her salad to be on the side, yet it was drizzled on the salad instead. Despite all that, I will be back because of the BOGO coupon and because it's the closest Noodles location to me.

For a man of Irish, German and Austrian decent I sure do love my pasta! If I could eat it everyday I probably would, but if I did I'd be an even fatter fat kid then I already am. I love Noodles and Company because it allows me to get that quick fix I am looking for without having to go to a sit down restaurant. The food is always pretty good (love the Parmesan Crusted Chicken) and the fact they now have a Freestyle Coke machine is AH-MAY-ZONG! That's right. AH-MAY-ZONG! These things are way too damn cool to just be labeled as AH-MAY-ZING. For those who do not know what they are, let me learn you something real quick. It is essentially a fountain pop machine with all of the options Coca-Cola offers, but wait there's more! Each selection gives you the option to add in either Lemon, Lime, Orange, Vanilla, Raspberry, Cherry, Strawberry, Grape or Peach flavoring to jazz up your selection. Not all options offer the same choices, but those are all the flavors. That gives you over 100 different drink choices to accompany your meal. My personal favorite is Ginger Ale with Vanilla which tastes very similar to a Boston Cooler. Try it! Back to the food. Their Mac & Cheese is always a good choice, but my personal favorites are their Penne Rosa and the Pesto Cavatappi. Also their Tomato Basil Bisque is oh so good. I have yet to try any of their salads or sammies, but I will venture that way when I am not in the mood for pasta. Not sure when that will actually be though.

Just visited this location after trying the Rochester Rd. Noodles & Co. last month. We were happy with both locations -- good food for the money, decent service and a nice selection of items to choose from. I'm a real fan of their Chicken Noodle soup, and I'm very picky about my soup -- most restaurant soups are too salty for me. But theirs is very close to homemade with good broth and big pieces of chicken breast. My husband got the Beef Stroganoff which he really liked and the portion-size was generous. I've tried their salads and sandwiches and liked them both. Yes, it's 'fast food', but for about the same price as McDonald's or Wendy's, we got some fresh, tasty food, and it only took about 5 minutes to get our order. My only complaint is that I wish there was a location closer to our home in the Warren/Madison Heights area. I think it would do really well there.

I came here for the first (and probably last) time about a month or so ago. I ordered online and walked into the store about 10min later (my order was supposed to be ready in 8), paid, and then since I wasn't given my order...stepped over to the side to wait. Well, I continued to wait. And wait. And wait. Since I'd never been to noodles before, I thought maybe since I ordered chicken on my pasta it was going to take a bit longer than the 8min. Finally, about 20-25min later, I realized that people who came inside and ordered AFTER me had already sat down with their meals. Super annoyed, I went up to the cashier (who I was literally standing a couple feet away from the entire time I was waiting) and asked if I could be refunded since I'd been waiting 20+min for an order that was supposed to be ready when I got there. He turned behind him and grabbed my order that had obviously been sitting there since I got there!!!! Barely an apology (I think he said "sorry about that" as I was leaving), no offer to remake my cold food that had been sitting there for at LEAST 20 minutes, nothing. I e-mailed corporate that same night and never got a response. Terrible, terrible customer service all the way around.

I can't believe how low these reviews are! I mean c'mon...it's a fast food noodle joint! Hot noodles, good sauce, warm chicken. How can you go wrong? You're basically making up your own rules. So therefore, you only have yourself to blame if your food went wrong. Aren't satisfied with what you got? Well then try this: Spiral noodles, pesto sauce, crusted chicken, and extra parmesan. And then more parmesan. Simple perfection. You're welcome. Oh and you know that rice crispy treat you're eyeing? Yeah, it's worth it.

Cheap and filling but the food quality isn't amazing. It is enough to get you going. A regular was enough for two meals for me. I was able to take some home for lunch the next day. Everything is very accessible from the drinks to the to go boxes. The workers here all have smiles. My friend's mac and cheese was way better than my Japanese pan noodles. I guess you shouldn't get anything ethnic at such an Americanized chain. I wouldn't mind coming back.

This location is a bear to get in to and then goes to a game of musical chairs to find a parking spot. Once inside the service is pretty fast. Everything is made fresh and the portions are large. The bus person spots your empty bowl and removes it the second you set your fork down. No opportunity for licking the bowl. I enjoy the noodle dishes; especially the truffle oil mac n cheese. It's the not the best I've ever had. I take quick service and convenience over taste when I need to carb up in a hurry.

This place is ok if you are on the run and are absolutely desperate for pasta, but in my opinion, no matter how much I craved pasta I wouldn't go back. It reminds me of frozen pasta meals that you can buy at the grocery store at 1/4th of the price, I think the frozen pasta meals are even heartier and tastier than those offered here. The sauce is bland, prices are too high for quality and amount you get, and just not worth it.

I've been to Noodles & Company twice now. Once in the Troy location, and once in the Ann Arbor location. I've never been really impressed. I feel like the dishes aren't fresh and everything is frozen. I had the Chinese Chopped Salad which had a pretty good dressing, but I decided to get the chicken on it which appeared to be frozen and microwaved. There was no way it was fresh which ultimately hurt the salad. I also tried the chicken noodle soup which was no different than Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup. My girlfriend had the Med Salad and she thought it was pretty good. My first experience in Ann Arbor was better. That was a few years ago and my perception may have changed. Overall, I'd try to avoid this spot unless I had a coupon or some kind of discount. I'm definitely not going out of my way to grab a dish from here.

I'm not sure why this place is so expensive. My wife and I had take-out tonight for dinner from the location in Troy on Crooks and Big Beaver, I had the Penne Rosa with extra grilled chicken and my wife had the Pad Thai with chicken. We got the regular size pastas, but the portions were tiny-not enough food for the price. The chicken was obviously pre-made frozen chicken that was warmed up, possibly in a microwave, and there were almost no vegetables-maybe two tiny mushrooms in the Penne Rosa. The sauce had a nice spice to it, but the chicken was bland and the spinach still had its stems, which was hard to digest. The Pad Thai was bad too-bland, tons of noodles, and very few vegetables-not delicious or savory like you would get at an authentic Thai restaurant. Our two dishes together was a little over $20, but we had a coupon, so it was $8, and it's a good thing it was that cheap, otherwise I would have gone to the restaurant to speak with the manager about the poor food quality.

If there was a noodles across the street from my work I would eat there almost every day. Their food is surprisingly tasty. Lots of healthy options and tons of choices. The price is a little high, but you get a lot of food for the money. Staff is extra friendly and the place is very clean.

I can't believe I just paid $11 for an unbelievably BLAND Pad Thai with literally 4 tiny pieces of shrimp in what was supposed to be "full" portion but literally looked like a side dish. Left hungry, had to go get another dinner elsewhere. What a waste of money, I'll never eat here again.

What can I say about Noodles & Company? If you just want some boiled noodles with portioned sauce from a jar and then sprinkled with a portioned meat that was mass grilled, and all according to an employees handbook - then Noodles & Co. is what you're looking for. lol. I'm not gonna lie - the Stroganoff with braised beef is actually pretty good - but I am pretty strict in my standards for chains and the way they serve you and operate - and this place is very, very chain. You are looking at a menu and getting items that someone in Arizona or Massachusetts would have an identical culinary experience with. This is the kind of place that charges you 59 cents for a little more sauce if your Noodles come out dry because "Sir, that's how much sauce they let us to put on there, if you want more we may have to charge you" Well, sorry peon, but I don't have 59 cents in my pocket and I frown upon charging such trivial amounts - it's the principle - not the money honey. And whose "they" that won't let them give me some more sauce? The manager of the branch, the regional manager, perhaps it's the CEO and board of taste directors of the Noodles empire? F that. And you know the funny thing? Though they may try to charge you for extra sauce - if you say that you don't like your dish and want a different one made - that they do under company policy for free. lol. What kind of logic is that? So I could in theory have them keep remaking a whole dish on the basis of the noodles being dry? Yet, they wouldn't just give me more sauce for free? haha. So yeah, it's an OK place for a noodle dish - but nothing unique or spectacular. Don't get the mac & cheese - it's undercooked, dry, sticky elbow noodles with cheese sauce literally drizzled over it. lol. And the Pad Thai - forget about it - it's a disgrace to the 'Thai' name. haha. The Stroganoff w/beef, Pesto Cavatappi w/chicken and Penne Rosa w/shrimp are the 3 tolerable dishes they have. The rest suck.

As far as Noodles go, this one is alllllllllright. Nothing special. The one in Royal Oak is definitely better and the one in Farmington is the best. I once found a hair in my sandwich. The older cashier always looks at me like I'm nuts when I order a sandwich with no mushrooms. I kind of feel like she's doing me a favor when she takes my order. The food is par for the course - the biggest drawback is the location. That parking lot is like a bumper car course Monday-Friday from around 11:30-1:30 with the business lunch crowd. I've seen so many near accidents I find myself wishing I had 10 more minutes to drive to the Royal Oak location!

I visit the place atleast twice a week... Has some hot girls working most of the time and they are very nice to you, food never took more than 5 minutes to get to the table.. Got a complimentary soup a couple of times.. Great place for lunch or breakfast, awesome location.. Keep rocking :)

The fact that I eat Noodles & Co. is a fact that has caused me tremendous emotional turmoil. You see, I don't eat Fast Food, but I eat Noodles & Co., and Noodles is undeniably fast food in that it is both incredibly fast (i.e. I ordered while driving the 2-mile stretch from my office to the restaurant and by the time I got there, my order was already packaged and ready. How is that even possible?) and it is food. Really though, it's mass-produced food that's not prepared by a chef or even a chef in training and it's a chain and it's corporate, and I'm sure there are other objectionable qualities associated with it. But, I really don't get the bad press. That said, I would never go to a Noodles for Asian fare (okay, except for the curry soup, which is actually really good and acceptably spicy) because I can think of any number of places sure to be better. Their Pene Rosa with feta cheese and Parmesan chicken, however, has never been anything but delicious. It's savory and spicy with fresh vegetables (tomato and spinach), and while the noodles are overcooked (but not horribly), the price is very reasonable for what you get. This is a real pasta dish. I would be happy if I made this dish at home. It's not complicated, but it is good, and it's never been anything but that, so I give them points for consistency. Their Wisconsin Mac & Cheese is delightfully cheesy and even better with a generous squirting of Sriracha and some pepper. I believe it's a three-cheese mix--creamy, melty, delicious. Trio Sald is about 4 bites (see picture) but has Russian-bread croutons, which is nice. Dressing is the appropriate amount for my gluttonous tastes, maybe too much for others. The woman who takes orders and works the cash register has been there every single time I've gone and is always noticeably pleasant and professional. Her presence is proof that while Noodles may be a corporate restaurant, they do not engage in age discrimination, which I appreciate. And honestly, what fast food restaurant has table service where you get to sit down and don't have to tip? It's like being back in Spain, where nobody tips, minus the wallet-panic associated with having to pay in Euros with an unfavorable conversion rate (which might as well have been a tip). I like Noodles, and I ain't ashamed to 'mit it!

In the world of fast food Noodles & Co. is king. They do a good job of offering quick meals that taste, well, good. Don't expect the next noodle dish revolution, they cook by numbers but compared to other fast food options, this is definitely better. I've never ordered carry out and had the wait time longer than 5 minutes before pickup, they are truly fast and efficient at churning out food. I will give a piece of advice, check your order before driving home! Sadly its happened to me multiple times and with my wife's vegan diet a simple mistake can lead to a trip back to the restaurant. I wouldn't typically return to a business that I've had so many errors in the past with but I've learned my lesson and I check my order in the store. What can I say, its decent cheap food that's quick and easy. Oh and if you like to dine in, the facility is typically clean and the staff have always been cheerful and helpful. There is an outside eating area at this location which overlooks a wonderfully boring parking lot. Don't expect to be too comfortable in the chairs either, I think they chose them so you wouldn't want to stay long.

Noodles and Company is our alternative destination when after a long day neither my wife and I desire to cook. We like to go there because it is healthy (you can eat vegan there), it is quick between the time you order and the time somebody from the restaurant brings you the order you requested (10 min max) but most important it is CHEAP especially for the quality. My favorites are the tomato soup and the Bangkok curry noodles. Service is OK/good, not exceptional and the parking is sometimes requiring patience at lunch rush hours. Easy at night. My wife and I discovered this place maybe one year ago and since then we are now coming there at least once a week and so far we are not getting tired of it !

Having the Pad Thai for lunch today. Okay, typical non-Thai Thai food, if you know what I mean. Quick, filling, has carry out, all a plus. Somewhat better than bland. Meh.

I've recently become rather obsessed with Noodles & Company's asian noodles and beef tips. It's nothing spectacular - it might just be the texture of the noodles (all thick and starchy) but mixed with the sprouts and peppery beef - I love it! The mac & cheese is standard - I mean Joe T's review is spot on...but man those noodles and beef are delicious! The place itself is clean, you sit down at your table and a staff member brings you your food and reminds you not to tip them and when you're done you just head out.

I am a dedicated Noodles & Co. fan and have been for years. Though there aren't any in my neck of town, it's always been worth the hike. I purchased carry out at this location and I have to say it was the first time I've ever been disappointed with Noodles & Co. The noodles were luke warm and clumped together as if they had been sitting for quite some time. I also asked for a side of extra seasoning (both at the cashier and when I took my carryout from the cook) and there was no extra seasoning. Now I will acknowledge that I did come at 8pm (they close at 9pm), but that being said I feel the first and the last customer of the day should both receive the same quality of service. Thankfully, I know this isn't a reflection of all Noodles, but I will definitely think twice before stopping at this location. If this had been my first experience with Noodles & Co. I would not return.

I like to stop into Noodles and Company for a quick lunch before or after shopping at Somerset. I tend towards just the Pesto Cavatappi- I'm hesitant to try some of the more international dishes, but the pesto is definitely good. It's also much cheaper if you have the noodles plain, without protein, which I prefer sometimes. Not somewhere I'd eat everyday, but a fun place to drop in once in awhile. Especially if you need a casual catch up, but want to make it brief.

First time visiting Noodles & Company. Cashier (older lady) was rude, pushy and not very helpful. I didn't understand the options and she was seemed very frustrated with me for not knowing how their ordering system worked. I consider myself to be pretty sharp so I am guessing that it wasn't me being slow or not paying attention. No smile. It got so embarrassing to my 12 year old son and me that I had to stop her and say "I have NEVER been here before!" sort of like "geez lady - stop being such a (insert word starting with B here). Funny thing her shirt says "advocate" (or something like that) on the front and "tour guide" on the back....I find that ironic since she was the exact opposite. It seemed the other people working there were trying to be helpful but they were not the front-line employees (and probably should have been). Food was just 'ok'. The treatment I received was bad enough to make me NEVER try Noodles and company again. All the fancy marketing, design, and menu do not make up for how you are treated. There are just too many other options (in the same small shopping center there was a chipolte, potbelly, and 2 other decent looking chains near - I should have chosen one of those). Lost a customer (and family) for life due to poor customer service and poor company oversight which allows valuable customers to be treated poorly by a person who clearly should not be on the front line.

I don't really like noodles, but I love Noodles & Company. Why? They have variety - a few good Asian dishes and a few good Italian dishes...and it is quick and cheap. Essentially, this is a fast food restaurant - and for a fast food restaurant you can't expect much more. In fact, their dishes are better than many sit-down restaurants, including Olive Garden and Papa Vinos

I like the noodles & company up there north of big beaver. the asparagus, tomato and linguine dish is really good, and the asparagus tastes actually pretty fresh. i also like the parmesan encrusted chicken they have there. get it with simple buttered noodles... it's yummy. the penne rosa is decent. and i really like the bangkok curry with some of their hot sauce on top of it. that's a good dish! the main problem is that the parking lot is a pain in the ass. there's also a chipotle, a potbelly and cold stone all right there. and the parking lot sucks. i mean, it's far from a delicious gourmet meal... but you know what you're gettin when you go there.

This is far from healthy; all the ingredients are already pre-cooked and sautéed. This is more like fast-food than anything else. I usually order the Pesto Cavatappi with Tofu which is the best thing on the menu and will fill you up, everything else is just bland or so-so. That dish costs around 7 greenbacks at Noodles at Company, I might as well be eating at a real restaurant or diner for that price. This particular dish also contains 30 grams of fat and 11 grams of saturated fat; that's 55% of your daily value of saturated fat right there. Some of the dishes have 2 grams of sodium in them already; that's your recommended salt intake for the whole day! The service is very friendly and copacetic, if you don't like a dish just tell them and they'll bring you a new one. If you like Noodles & Company or are looking for cheap eats, join their Noodlegrams e-mail newsletter; you periodically receive Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupons. Also if you don't like something, just let the people there know and they'll make you another dish for free; it's their policy and I wouldn't hesitate to use it because most of their dishes suck.

In the genre of Americanized ethnic food I think that I actually like this fast food Asian/Mediterranean/American mix. I don't know if things have changed since Janelle's ketchup pad thai review in 2008 but the pad thai that I had last week was on par with any Thai restaurants version. The pasta that I have had from here was well cooked and well coated with their tasty sauces. I really liked the Indonesian peanut saute. It was nice and spicy, more so than most American places would dare to serve. My work also had a catered lunch from Noodle&Co recently and we had some nice salads, pad thai, some pesto and noodles, I think it was the Pesto Cavatappi which I guess means super duper spiral pasta. Overall I think that they have plenty of taste and portion size options available and it is worth a try.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
