Love this place!!! Came in for my first ever krispy Kreme donut and it was so good. As we walked in we got to see the conveyor belt frying and glazing the donuts and before we ordered we were given a sample (which was a whole donut) of original glazed. Sooo good and hot too. Also purchased blueberry, sour cream, pumpkin spice and chocolate glazed donuts which were also very good. Service was quick and friendly! Definitely coming back for more!!

It is so hard to keep my waistline small when I have to ride past Krispy Kreme, mmm. Sugar and dough, we got them fresh and hot and OMG, melted in my mouth and in my hand. The only problem I had was which one to chose. I had a glaze and a chocolate and a cherry filled, Oh, I forgot I was a lady who counts calores and just enjoyed the great combination of fried dough and melted sugar.

One Star? Really? It's Krispy Kreme! They're the best! Yes. One star. Allow me to qualify this a little bit. I've been going to this Krispy Kreme since they opened. They were not always a one-star joint. They have only recently became one-star, and unfortunately due to my last experience, they will never recover from that for me. Service: Unbelievably, almost impressively slow. Have you ever walked into an joint where it appears that all of the employees have taken an Ambien just prior to the start of work? It's surreal. Now, look, I know it's about as great a gig as any fast-food restaurant. I'm not expecting much, but even at that low bar, they failed. It's been pretty lousy forever, but because of their product, you're willing to accept it. Food: So here's where we get a little scary. My most recent visit to Krispy Kreme involved waiting in line for a few hours and receiving 12 doughnuts. Upon opening the box in the car to eat said doughnuts I noticed a new topping. Ants. Little, tiny, and red...and everywhere in the box. Of course, ants are ... literally ... everywhere so my first thought was "Maybe the car is infested?" Nope. The ants were everywhere inside the box, nowhere outside. They were also a type of ant I have *never* seen before (is there such thing as a doughnut ant? If there is, that's what these were!) So, my dear, beloved Krispy Kreme. I will be visiting you no more. The experience was so horrifying, I probably won't be buying your products at the grocery store (they come from here anyway, don't they?)

Slow as molasses. Seriously. I've visited twice, and while both occasions were in the wee hours of the morning, there is no excuse for such slow service. The second reason I'm dissatisfied with this establishment is the diminutive size of the doughnuts. They are about as small as one could make a doughnut before calling it a mini doughnut. Skip this place. I know, it hurts to skip yummy eats, but you'd be doing yourself a favor.

On our way to dinner, my boyfriend pointed out that the light was on at the Krispy Kreme. Having never been in one, we decided to stop. Yes, we were on our way to eat, but donuts wait for no man (or woman). We walk in and are greeted by hot donuts...not just in the case , but being handed to us to eat! For Free!!!! They were gooey and sweet and just awesome.

This one survived the dot com boom. The one on Gratiot went out of business, a case of growing too fast & spreading too soon. The good news is this one was better, only now it's a farther drive. The people here are nice, if you walk in while their neon sign is on it means that donuts are being made fresh, they will pull a fresh donut off the conveyor belt and hand it to you for free. If you survive the transcendent experience of a donut right out of the vat you will order more and experience an assault of sugar that will epitomize the meaning of guilty pleasure. If you look behind the building there are a dozen Krispy Kreme trucks ready to take donuts to gas stations and 7-11's all over the place, now you know where they are all coming from. Why not go to the source? Pro's: You will enjoy this. Glazed, Chocolate w/ white cream filling are the top IMO. Quite possibly the freshest donut you will ever have in your lifetime. Cons: You will get fatter. Coffee is just ok. The Valentine donuts with sprinkles is like putting sugar on your sugar. Too much sugar. Sugar.

the quality of my experience fluctuates My first visit has been awful and infringing on racism. Two other visits (cant help myself when they give out free hot doughnuts!) were excellent. Its possible that they got much better since the first time. Cool place!

Krispy Kreme is always good. I just wish they had more locations in the Detroit area. Krispy Kreme is also served at 7/11 and other local places. However, eating one of these donuts right when they get out of the oven is so good. Every time I go here, the donuts are fresh. They are decently priced as well.

I saw the light was on & had hoped to get my freebie However. . although a light was on it was not "THE HOT NOW LIGHT" LOL So I bought one Krispy Kreme Klassic...fairly hot off the conveyor $1.06 It was so much better than the ....older ones at many speedways..

Went here tonight and the hot sign was on from 6:00-9:00. Went in at 8:30 and they gave us a free original glazed. We ordered a dozen to go. They were tasty but the only issue is that the glaze seems different than other locations. It's strange as it seems to be transparent and a matte finish. I've never seen it like that at various other locations. I also noticed quite a few rejected donuts on the conveyor belt.

Yum! The doughnuts were perfectly glazed and delicious! The service was a bit slow, but still well worth the wait.

Stopped in Sunday morning to pick up two dozen; they were making doughnuts but I wasn't offered a hot sample- did that change?

I had kind of forgotten how awesome Krispy Kreme doughnuts can be. Back in the early 2000s, I used to hit the one on Van Dyke once a week on my way into work in a secret experiment attempting to give the entire office diabetes. Or at least that's what I was accused of. Popped in here and there is still nothing more awesome that a hot and fresh-from-under-the-sugary-waterfall-of-awesomeness glazed Krispy Kreme. Nothing. Picked up a dozen to bring home, and the kids were on a sugary buzz and ask me at least once every other day when I'm going to be stopping back by here and bringing more home. I'm teaching them "moderation". :) The boston-creme style are also solid here. Always have been. Glad they're still around.

Have called them 5 times in past 30 min to try and place an order for doughnuts but no response what so ever, kind of disappointed.

Nothing beats the taste of a hot, fresh Krispy Kreme doughnut. The only thing better is TWO fresh, hot Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I've never has a problem with either the staff or the quality of the doughnuts. And be sure to try the special "seasonal" ones that come out sporadically. I recently tried the "limited run" key lime pie cheesecake doughnuts. They were absolutely friggin' magical.

Just read some of the other reviews on here ... I've never been handed a donut while walking in! I wonder if maybe this is a morning-only or night-only thing? I now live about 10 minutes from this location so I am careful to avoid it usually, only because Krispy Kreme is my FAVORITE type of donut and it could get dangerous for me if I started to frequent it :P. I did go a few months ago for their free original donut day, however, and bought a creme-filled donut as well (my favorite). Service wasn't slow but granted, it was like 1pm and there were maybe 2 other people in there. Sign up for their email list, they're doing a deal on May 15 + 22 of this year where if you bring a friend and both check in on Foursquare, you each get a key lime donut.

If you want some good doughnuts, stop in here. They have quite a variety of the deep fried, sugary sweets. It is fun to watch the hundreds and hundreds of freshly made doughnuts march by you on the conveyor belt while sitting there and enjoying a few doughnuts of your own.

I am in love with Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I want a doughnut for breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, late night snack, and wherever else I can fit it. The moment you walk in, they hand you a hot donut free-of-charge. Not all Krispy Kreme locations do this. I have never had a problem with service, the lovely ladies are always nice as they take my order of a dozen donuts and some complicated coffee concoction. (Their Krispy Kreme original coffee tastes like donuts.... mMMMMmmmm). And let me comment that yes, these clouds of air / bites of heavenly bliss / all of the above, are on the small side. But they are the same size as every other Krispy Kreme locations' donuts anywhere. The small-medium size makes me feel so much less guilty about eating 2 or 3 of these in the morning =)

We went to the Somerset collection in Troy and wanted to try the Logans near Oakland Mall (we usually go to the one in Utica) We were shocked to see a Krispy Kreme right beside, did not know these still exist! The location was huge, clean, and had great selection. The staff was friendly to, I think we were just excited to see something we never expected which made our trip that much more exciting!

WARM KRISPY KREME DONUTS CAN'T BE BEAT. this place is delicious and fun. You get a free donut when the hot light is on. The workers are ghetto as hell but love the place. Never an old donut.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I called and asked politely what time this particular restaurant closes, and the worker on the other end proceeded to slam the phone down and hang up. I proceeded to call back shortly after, a bit confused, and immediately following it being answered I was hung up on again. Needless to say, I will never spend another dime at Krispy Kreme again. If you cannot answer a simple question for me, you don't deserve my money. Service here is awfully slow. If you're in a hurry and only have a spare minute or two to pick up coffee or some donuts, this is the last place you would want to stop. The few times I have been to this location in person, the staff has seemed very short and pushy. Overall horrible, absolutely horrible, customer service. I would NOT recommend this to anyone.

I pulled up to the drive through ready to try something new. I wanted some sort of coffee and perhaps a doughnut or two. I hear, "Welcome Krispy Kreme I'mma take ya order!" I responded with, "I'll have two doughnuts and a large Latte Chiller" She said, "Welcome Krispy Kreme!" in an agitated, belittling tone. I again went ahead with my order and I didn't hear any response. So I sat there for about 2 minutes and drove off. Fuck this place. Seriously. The only reason I went there is because it was the closest place. I will never return. Also, they give their day old doughnuts to some homeless looking guy who always comes into my work and tries to sell them out of these cardboard boxes that look wet. GTFO of here Krispy Kreme. Let a respectable business have your building.
