I love Elaine's in Troy I'm there if not once, twice a week their breakfast sandwiches are my favorite I usually get ham egg and American on a parmesan bagel and it fills me up for almost 6 hours I LOVE this place and really recommend the sandwiches, the staff is always friendly I love going in there and seeing them they always start my day off right!:)

I wish Elaine was in my family and I grew up eating her bagels more often than once every couple of months. That's how good her bagels are. Elaine's taught me what a bagel is supposed to taste and look like - and for that, I am eternally grateful. Outside of New York, these are the best bagels I've ever had. Hands down. If you haven't been, GO!

I drive ~10 miles and pass several other bagel shops just to get to Elaine's. I'm a huge fan of their cinnamon sugar bagels but they have a great selection besides that. I've been to all of their locations and I am not let down by any of them. Best bagels in the Metro Detroit area.

The "Elaine's special strawberry cream Cheese" seemed like normal cream cheese with pink food coloring. There was nothing strawberry about it. Very disappointing. And The chocolate chip bagel had a hint of onion taste to it which was really weird and upsetting as well.

I had a cheddar bagel with the works...eggs, cheese, and ham. It was the worst bagel sandwich I've ever had. They warmed up raw eggs in a microwave and out it on the bagel. The cheddar bagel had no flavor. Back to Einsteins bagel I go! Wish it would've been better cause the customer service was good.

Small quaint bagel shop- never had their hot beverages but the bagels whoo hoo. If you think you had a good everything bagel test out this place. The all star (everything bagel) and Asiago bagels are sooooooooooo flippin good. Love that they open so early so I can stop before I go to work. They also close early too I think around 2pm so if you want something better go before work. The employees are friendly & pretty fast too. Not expensive at all, I think a bagel with cream cheese is about $1.50 ish . And the bagels... they are big.

Come early, and get your bagels while they are hot! Their bagels are big and tasty. They are cheap too! Three bagels were $1.60. They were out of their asiago bagels on a recent Sunday morning, so I bought my mom a spinach one which she liked very much. My favorite is the salt bagel lathered with cream cheese. I gave them four stars only because I prefer the large chunk Kosher salt, instead of the fine salt that they use. The guy behind the counter was friendly. It must be kinda boring to work by yourself when business is slow.

Awesomely delicious bagels (great flavors and oh-so-chewy) Fairly inexpensive (plus I had a coupon--13 bagels for $6.50). Nice workers. What more could you ask for?

Stopped in over the weekend and really enjoyed this place. Its a cute little spot with great bagels. Had the Lox sandwich on an everything bagel, and it was delicious. Coffee is eh, but thats not what we went there hoping to find.

I used to love Elaines Bagels a few years ago. Since the new owner took over the quality has went way down hill. First off, let me say I have had so many bad expierences there, it is hard to pick just one. Fruit-flies are visable on the bagels in the rack. I have personally watched the owner drop bagels on the floor and then pick them up and put them back in the basket. The cream cheese is frequently spoiled and I have gotten food posioning on 2 seperate occasions. (You'd think I'd learn the first time) Store has a VERY unclean feel about it from the counter tops to the floor. Sure Einsteins is corporate but at least I know for a fact they bleach the floors on a regular basis. My overall feeling on Elaines Bagels-I'm suprised the health department hasn't shut them down.

Don't go here. The bagels are horrible, flavorless puffs of dough. Just because a baked good is round and baked, doesn't make it a bagel!
