Array of food, all done well! That's 5 stars baby! I've been coming here regularly for about 1.5 years since starting a job just across the street. I've never had something bad there. Their breakfast sandwich on a bagel is a great value at $3.60, with nice variety. At least twice a week I get an egg, sausage, and peeper jack on a sun dried tomato bagel, or asiago cheese. You can get scrambled egg with your choice of Cheese and either Sausage, Bacon, Turkey Sausage, Ham or Turkey. Awesome! Their bagel variety is massive to say the least, and my co-workers often go here for treat day bagel procurement in the morning. Their lunch menu is expansive, and super fresh. I've been totally hooked on the #24 Chris' Cesear Club. It's Grilled Chicken, bacon, provolone cheese, cucumber, lettuce, tomato, onion & Cesear dressing on Grilled Panini. I get it either on sourdough, or their great chibatta. Their cucumber, lettuce, and tomato is so fresh I always tell my co-diners how good it is. Even if they have come with me 10 times before. 'Omg this cucumber...' I've introduced quite a few people to this place, and they are all impressed. They have home made cookies, and Detroit local snacks like caramel covered popcorn in vacuum sealed bags. The place runs, and seems like a chain, but is not. They just do everything good, and fast. The express coffee system where you can be on the honor system and place your money in the bucket is a great idea!

I agree with Katie M. The bagels are just the way a bagel should be: Crisp on the outside and chewy in the middle. They are a tad smaller than other places I've been to. They have 25 different bagels to choose from. Plus, they're only $0.75. The employees are friendly and get your food to you fast.

I understand that at 8:30 in the morning they are used to business people but that is no excuse to be rude to other customers. As soon as three of us walked in the employees acted like we were a pain. First I only wanted the lox sandwich but the girl tried to push the meal on me. Sorry but I don't want potato salad or coleslaw that early in the morning. Then when I got to the register they were going to charge the same price with the side! Only when I said fine give me the side then did they change the price. Also despite asking for it toasted with no onions. It was barely toasted and she mounded the onions on. Also as I was standing in line for the register the girl making sandwiches decided to hop on the other register and help. Great but instead of taking me the next person she instead took the next guy in a suit then walked away. Also the food was meh. Einstein and Bruggers are better tasting

Following it's namesake, they have bagels galore and tons of cream cheese options. If you have a sweet tooth the cinnamon-honey (or some similar name) was very tasty. I had ordered the onion bagel with veggie cream cheese and I was surprised to find big chucks of veggies in the cream cheese, looked like they made it themselves. They were a bit slow, but how can you blame them, they've probably been up since 4am. If you are into sausage and egg in the morning I'd highly suggest the sausage and egg bagel -I wish I had ordered one! They have around 6 options for coffee, only one of which that is "fair trade and organic". I wasn't complainin' though since it was the first place we'd been to in the Detroit 'burbs that had such a thing.

Good bagels. Bad clientele. No Fragels. Three stars. Pros: They have good, fairly cheap bagels that are pretty delicious. Their selection is good if you get there at the right time, and they have plenty of other options too. Drinks and coffee are cheap and good. Cons: THEY DON'T HAVE FRAGELS ANYMORE KWEKJRG;KJNGRSKJ This was the one place I could get the most delicious invention I'd ever had. AGH. Also, their selection seemed pretty thin around 7:30am, which is odd to me. You should have more than one cinnamon raisin bagel left people. Oh, and their clientele is terrible. If you talk louder than a low mumble, soccer moms will eyeball you like you're wearing a strap on in public. Seriously, me and my sister just being the not-so-mature people we are, getting called rude by the lady driving a Hummer H2 who is ordering 500 bagels and slowing down the line and of course could not be bothered to call in her order ahead of time. Ugh. Also businessmen spilling their coffee. god. damn. everywhere. Three of those guys, spilled their coffee right in a row.

Visiting a friend in Troy we craved a bagel sandwich after googling we found this place. Processed food... Bagel tiny and salty, eggs were a disappointment... If u want good breakfast pass this place and stop at panera.

The Bagel Factory is a good bagel place located just off I-75 in Troy. We stopped in here on the way to NE Michigan with a friend who lives in Troy (I'm from the Cleveland area) to grab a quick bite to eat for breakfast. I had already had something to eat that morning so I just had an asiago cheese bagel. It was pretty good. I liked it better with each bite. However, I prefer the asiago cheese bagels from Panera. It looked like a great variety of bagels though. When I came here, I thought it was a chain, considering the location and the way the shop was set up, but I later found out it's an independent restaurant. Overall, if you're in Troy and need a quick breakfast, stop in at the Bagel Factory. It's worth it.

Amazing bagels, lines that go fast, and a Starbucks next door to this one, too! So close to I-75, you could walk there! I mean, if anyone around here walked. Or you could walk on interstates. You know what I mean. It's awesome, though.

If you're thinking about turning your bagel into a breakfast sandwich, don't. The proportions are way off, I'd rather just have my bagel with cream cheese. And in that case I'd rather go to Einstein. On top of that, my smoothie was more like juice with a few ice chunks in it. She let the blender go and walked away for a good amount of time. The system they have going there is weird. Most of the girls in the morning are less than willing to give you good service. I'll probably never go back again. Thoroughly disappointed.

A cute little breakfast shop / bakery tucked into a little strip mall, surrounded by offices. I'll admit they aren't the most amazing place in the world, but they're tasty and I liked the sausage egg and cheese bagel sandwhich I picked up one morning on the way to work while visiting town. Coffee there seems kinda meh, but there is a Starbucks right next door, so you can get slightly less meh coffee for $3-4 a cup more. :)

I always enjoy making a stop here for a great light breakfast. Eggceptional breakfast sandwiches, a great array of bagels and coffees, friendly employees and a clean environment to enjoy a great start to your day!

Bagels are hit or miss near Detroit. This place has good ones, much better than the chains, and good sandwich prices, so I'm going back even though they gave me baby carrots instead of the requested potato salad with lunch today. I should have looked in the bag! I'd add to the review above that I prefer a smaller bagel, and it's probably more true to the bagel ideal than the giant bagels from Einsteins, et al. New York Bagel on Greenfield remains my favorite local bagel, but this place is good and fast and clobbers it on ambiance. A find.
