I'm so upset I just spent $40 bucks on this food! I called wanting Shish Kabob Express, but was told it was just under new management and a new name change but menu was still the same. LIE!!!!! I thought fine, I ordered my usual sautéed lamb and my husband ordered the vegetarian plate. My meat was tiny not seasoned at all. My kiddos breaded chicken tenders were just grilled chicken cut up. I'm really upset! Don't order from here

My husband and I went there for dinner about a week ago and we love it! Their food was amazing and the service was excellent. Will recommend it to any one, any time!

Shish Kabob Express, or not, I don't care. I stopped here for take out for my wife and I on the way home from the gym. The food was really good and the owner seemed nice. The prices were fair. Kabob combo and chicken shwarma were both excellent. Give them a try.

I used to go to Shish Kabob three years ago when I lived in Michigan. Since I moved to Seattle I constantly crave the chicken shawarma. But they just don't make it the same way in Seattle. I visited MI last month & the first thing I did was pick up a menu to study until I could return to eat. I don't know if the menu has changed. What I can tell you is that the garlic dip & pita appetizer, the pickles, and the chicken shawarma tasted exactly the same. I would know, since they've practically been in my dreams. If I could've taken ten orders of shawarma back on the plane, I would've. So amazing! My husband & I were with two other couples, and everyone seemed to enjoy the food. I'm taking one star off (regrettably) for two reasons: 1. The bathroom was pretty gross. There was ONE napkin on the back of the toilet that was supposedly to serve as toilet paper. 2. I guess the owner was waiting around for us to close because he followed us out & sped away. It was pretty early, maybe 8pm? I felt retroactively rushed-- if that's a thing.

Friends! Be warned! This is NOT Shish Kabob Express anymore! When I tried to call them to find out the name of the new place the person who answered the phone tried to tell me they were still owned by Shish Kabob Express but under new management. He didn't speak English well enough for me to even understand the name of the new restaurant. He said same food, same owner, same location, new management. NOT. I didn't even bother staying because it didn't even look like a lebanese restaurant anymore. I loved Shish Kabob Express! Tears... Update: this is called Baba's Kitchen and the new owner is operating in an unethical fashion by telling customers that Omar still owns it (the old owner when it was Shish Kabob Express) and that it is just under new management. It was sold to the new owner 9 months ago!

Top notch! Loved the food and the service. I found this place on a Friday and was raving about it all weekend. Hummus was unbelievable. Shawarma tasty tasty tasty. Only complaint is when I went back Sunday they were closed :( Love it , have been back two more times and will be a regular for me !!!

Sat down for lunch and they got my order wrong. They were out of baba ghanouj, but we were the only patrons in the restaurant. They even call it Baba's Ghanouj, like they're name. Food was average for the price. I would choose Lebanese Grill in Troy over this place any day.

I got the lunch combo. Let me start out by saying, I needed to cook my sweet potato fries the rest of the way before they were deemed edible. They soggy, half-cooked, loaded with oil and not seasoned. The chicken shawarma was the driest most tasteless sharwarma I have ever eaten. It was only redeemed by drowning it in the extra 2oz side of garlic sauce that cost me an additional $1.55. Oh and the fountain Coke Zero, was flat. So all and all that was a waste of $11. I will not be going back and I don't recommend you do either. PS this is my first review and I signed up to warn you about this place!

Gross fried spinach pie, too much vinegar in the tabbouli. I did like the falafel balls, although i prefer they be made with olive oil. My parents like their grape leaves amd sandwich but ill be sticking to la marsas.
