Stopped in for a late night bit on my way back to Detroit from a day in Chicago. Glad to have read the Yelp reviews, as this stretch of I-94 is often a sort of food & drink no-man's-land, unless you're looking for higher end, on-the-water spots or yucky national chain fast food. Had a TERRIFIC Reuben with house-smoked corned beef and sweet sauerkraut there last night. One of THE BEST Reubens I've ever had - and I used to live in NYC. Seriously, that good. Plus had their fabulous hand-battered onion rings rather than the fries - definitely worth the extra buck uncharge! Tried a couple of Journeyman local spirits - the bourbon and the rye. I'm quite a fan of both of these grained beverages, and I really enjoyed the bourbon. Not so much on the rye - was a tad sweet for my palate and lacked that nice bite that most good ryes will convey. Personal preference, tho. Service was outstanding - two friendly bartenders were attentive but not annoying or cloying. I sat at the bar, so didn't really interact with waitresses, but the two or three that walked past me each said hello or how ya doing' which was nice. Don't get the gal who gave 1 star review on 8/9/2015. The mensroom was a tad outdated, but spotless when I went there. And, oh, did she NOT notice it was a bar, which does have deep fried food?My onion rings WERE deep fried but were far from greasy. I will DEFINITELY come here again the next time I'm passing through or in the area.

Everything was great. Dave Dushaj approved for sure this was no hole in the wall. Staff was great and so was the food. Don't pass this one up.

This place has an insanely big menu.We got the thundersticks as an appetizer and they were delicious. I had a brisket sandwich with an au jus that was also amazing. I am wondering how the Mexican food fares though. The margaritas were not great though, too much mix.

I seriously don't understand how this place gets 4 stars on yelp. I'm giving it 1 star, it is that bad. Greasy food, dirty restaurant and bathroom. However the service was good and our waitress was quick. I would never go back nor recommend it.

I don't get here often since I live in Minnesota but my husband and I stop when we drive thru bc of the delicious food and good crowd. Our server Zac is by far outstanding! He brings from home little puzzles for families to do together versus being on their phones! I love that! Family time!

Usually okay. Not great, but not terrible. This evening our waitress neglected to tell us about the specials, when it was mentioned to the other staff, their opinion was "Oh well, sorry". Other places in the area, if you are looking for a place to go, you could skip Coach's and not miss out.

Stopped in for lunch on our way to a girls weekend. It was a great beginning, our waitress was a lot of fun. Lots of great options on the menu which made it hard to decide. The salads looked awesome. I had the Lancer which was good but didn't knock my socks off. I would definitely go back and try something else on the menu. Nice selection of Michigan beers.

Great drink specials and a HUGE MENU!! Really enjoyed playing keno and they great an excellent menu, with a ton of choices. The atmosphere was relaxed, and everyone I saw seemed to be having a really good time. We have always had great service.

Food is ok. Nothing great. Nice atmosphere, but the bartenders are cold and non-conversational. Better personality might make the food worth it.

Very friendly staff. The service was very prompt. Place was clean. The food was excellent. Glad we stopped here.

Real good food. They have invested their own smoker so that ought to tell what to order here. 24 beers on draft. Well designed layout. Sports bar on one side. Dining on the other. Clean bathrooms

Really good place and seemed to be doing well as it was packed on the Saturday night we went. However we had reservations and despite the large groups waiting by the door, we were promptly seated. A ton of good beer on draft, the night we were there it was a Bell's Ale tap takeover so that was the feature brand which is local and one of my favorites. The menu is large with lots of good choices but reading that they had their own smoker, the BBQ seemed to be the way to go. I had the BBQ sampler plate with smoked wings, sliced brisket and some of the best pulled pork I have ever had. The pulled pork was so juicy and flavorful it needed no sauce whatsoever. Good bloody marys also. Highly recommended place if you are in the area.

Absolutely wonderful!! We had a difficult time finding it because yelp/Google maps had us turn right onto Glenlord street instead of left. Glad we figured it out! I love smoked food!! Our family of 6 enjoyed everything that was ordered. The service was excellent too!!

Today we had Coach's in Stevensville cater my grandmas 80th surprise party. I will have to say, they exceeded all expectations. We had pulled pork, brisket, potato salad, and coleslaw. When ordering we said it was for about 40 people. This food could have fed 60+. It was amazingly good. The potato salad was the best ive ever had. If you ever need catering I would highly recommend them. They accommodated us picking it up before they were open and were extremely friendly. Thanks Coach's! You completed our party!

Stopped here to watch a soccer game. Lots of TVs in the bar area. I ordered the Ditka Melt and it was delicious:)

I've now eaten here five or six times with big and small groups (2 to 25). Every time but one I have found that the service was good & relatively quick. Every place has an off night, and I assume that was all it was. I've had a little bit of everything here, and I particularly enjoy the Thundersticks (crispy tortillas filled with chicken, cheese, and jalapenos) and the Charlie Weis burger (burger plus pulled pork & onion rings). Their pulled pork & brisket are very good, and everyone I've brought here has enjoyed themselves and had a good experience. The management seems to be very engaged and on top of everything going on in the dining room. I'll be eating here again soon!

The food here is OK, and the prices are reasonable. But last night, we were told the half-price wine special had been moved from Mon to Weds. WTF. About a year ago they moved it from Weds to Mon. So this is the second time we've been skunked. We ordered a glass of wine each instead at full price. Then I was told that they no longer offer their meatloaf dinner. Too bad. I have ordered it in the past and it was unique because it had BBQ meat mixed in with the ground beef. The manager finally made her way to our table just as we were about to pay our bill. She asked if everything was OK. I explained to her about the wine special. She offered to cut our wine charge in half (which amounted to about $5 which is well under the value of half off a bottle), or to send us home with a full bottle at half price (we'd planned to share a bottle of wine over dinner, not after dinner). We refused both offers. Why not empower your servers to make a compensating offer up-front when patrons have a legit beef about something like that? If the server had offered half off a glass of wine, we would have ordered two each and it would have been fine. This place is just too unpredictable, and they don't seem to understand how to right a wrong. There are too many other options in the area.

Had the Izzo /olive burger and the too die for hush puppies. Highly recommended to visit this bar/grill. The staff was awesome and I was very happy with a 12 dollar total. Would go to again. A+ Jim

Driven by the place many times and finally dropped in with a few guys. Good place for a few beers and to watch a game. Staff friendly and good service with a sample size of one night.

This location has switched names/styles/iterations more often than Lady Gaga. But Coach's ain't half bad. The Steak & Blue Cheese Nachos were great, but the Triple Play Club was a regular ol' club sandwich, pretty well indistinguishable from any other. The Rockne Irish Reuben was a reuben, pure and simple. Altogether, decent food but better than McDonalds.

Good food. I don't think I've ever had anything bad. Their menu has a lot to choose from. I love their honey ginger wings and their bleu cheese is awesome! It's definitely one of a kind.

Order the bbq sampler. Pork and brisket were ok. Wings are very good. They have a really good beer selection. Service friendly and attentive. Stop in if you are in stevensville. And, order some wings.

If you are looking for bar food. You found it. I would expect anyone to say this is the greatest meal I ever had. The place has a lot of good TVs for sports but food is weak.

Do not go here. We had dinner here on a Saturday night. Sat at the bar. Service was slow and we were not offered samples of any beers before ordering them. Ordered the lettuce wraps, some sort of turkey sandwich, a side salad and coleslaw to split. Everything arrived at once -- and cold. Lettuce wraps turned out to be random leaves of lettuce with a piece of chicken slapped on top with some ranch dressing and parmesan cheese. Side salad was your typical side salad in this area -- a pile of iceberg lettuce with some dressing on the side. Wrap was nothing special. Lacking in flavor. Coleslaw was inedible, and a mayo-slathered mess. I had read good reviews and was hoping to have a new place to frequent. No thanks. I'd rather go to the Livery where they happen to have amazing pizza and hummus.

Have been to Coach's several times now and have yet to be disappointed. Helpful and engaging staff that know their food and beverage menus. On the food front have only been for lunch, but they offer a wide range of items from wraps and sandwich's to burgers and BBQ. They have great onion rings and their fries are nicely seasoned. Best part is they offer many different types of breads (pretzel rolls) for their sandwiches and burgers. Meals are severed quick and allow plenty of time to get back to office. We will keep going back.

Ate in the bar so my husband and I could watch the Tigers' fame. Service was very good. His mixed drink was served tall, not requested, and weak. My wine was the safer bet. I ordered a wrap which was really good. My hubbie loved his beef brisket but the serving was pretty skimpy so he stacked the meat on one side of the bun. He also thought the BBQ sauce was great. We will probably return but not order mixed drinks or the BBQ, unless they can promise a larger portion worth the $9.

I want to slap myself for being about to write that the wings here are he best I've ever had, but it's true. The ones with "Uncle John's" seasoning, the dry rub, with the (must be, right??) homemade blue cheese in the oversized bowl - THE BEST. The only * would be if there were others on like a 25 cent or less wing night or something, then you could make the argument that on a value adjusted basis these might lose out. Big centered (not pinned to the wall, thank you) bar, plenty of beers, pool table and darts in their own game room - this place is a winner. Tippy-top for SW MI.

Good place for a large group. The other customers may not agree, but we had a 10 person table and probably over stayed our welcome. The food was what we were looking for, for the price. My main complaint is that the fire place was super hot to the touch, not safe. But all in all if you avoid the bar area it is pretty nice place.

Great place. Sports bar on one side, family/fine dining on the other side. Well designed spaces with inviting furniture, warm fireplace with couches to relax. Food is great as well. I've had the pulled pork on pretzel roll several times and love it. The lettuce wrap appetizer is great. I have also enjoyed the bean burrito. Wait staff and hosts are also very friendly. Highly recommended.

We have gone to this place many times because we really like the food. We always sit in the bar to watch games on the tv. Tonight, however, we walked in and NOBODY greeted us (servers were chatting amongst themselves) so we grabbed a seat in the bar, only to be told that table was for someone else. (So why weren't they sitting there??) AND that these other patrons were "very upset". So we got up and went to the lobby, then were told that yes, we could have the table after all. We followed the server back to the table and AGAIN were told the table was not for us. WTF? SERIOUSLY? And as all this was happening, the servers continued to chat amongst themselves. Nope, never again. Very unprofessional.
