We like the food, service and the prices there...try to get early so you get a good table..don't get the fat waitress, she is slow. That must be the one everyone don't like....

Pulled in here on a total whim, I didn't even know it was there. Its in the location where Vitale's used to be, next to McDonalds. I rolled in relatively late on Tuesday evening, around 10pm, and I bellied up to the bar where Big Joe himself was running the show. They have a good variety of beers available. They don't have a million different beers, but they do have a good representation of things to satisfy most every taste. The bar was well stocked. The menu, however, is ridiculously extensive. It took me forever to figure out what I wanted. And you know what? Everything I had was really good. You can tell that Big Joe takes pride in figuring out what he wants to serve. I was talking to Big Joe about all the options on his menu and he could tell you anything you wanted to know about each thing. He even gave me a free sample of rings and fried mushrooms because I was curious about them. Both were really good, I would definitely order them next time I'm there. I ordered a cup of homemade chili that was very good. A bit of a smokey flavor to it. It wasn't spicy enough for me, but they never are. I also had a calzone that was very good. They also have a nice size patio with tables and chairs that would be a great place to have drinks and food. Alas, it was raining when I was there. I'll definitely be back.

We like to use our Entertainment Book and try new places. This was a perfect spot for a small road trip. Little did we know that not only do they not accept the EB coupons but they were incredibly rude about it and would not even offer some sort of discount or special. We would have easily spent $30-40 there with drinks but now we will never return. All they had to do was be friendly and courteous.

I went here with a group of 7 so we had a variety of food and to be honest most of it just wasn't worth it. The chicken fingers & fries were good and a club wrap was too but thats about where it ended. They had a sign outside saying authentic Mexican food. Uhm, no. A burrito with a sauce like tomato paste? Not so authentic. The chips and cheese deluxe was huge and just ok. I think the hamburger meat was better than the chicken but neither were particularly great. I had a chicken taco salad and I don't think I even got through half of it. The flavor just wasn't the best and the meat was a tad dry. I had asked for no onion and when I dug to the bottom discovered some weird sauce with big chunks of onion in it. I wasn't very happy. Their liquor selection is, well, not much of a selection. If you want beer then you should be all set but don't expect a drink if you like anything other than your basic rum, whiskey, etc. This place isn't that close to me so I probably won't be going back but I am not too disappointed about that. Just wasn't my cup of tea.

We don't normally go to Sparta but we tried it on our way home. We tried the southwest egg rolls on special. They didn't have any meat which was disappointing but they tasted alright. Also tried the pizza. Toppings were good but VERY light on the sauce so we asked for extra which showed up on the bill; I thought that wasn't good form since it didn't come with enough to begin with. Beer price seemed high but liquor price seemed reasonable. Waitstaff was friendly.
