I'm here on business from Canada. Tim Horton's is as Canadian as the Maple Leaf. We're bottle fed Tim Horton's coffee by age 3 months. So I was excited to see one right beside my hotel. I don't think I've ever received better service. The girl at the counter was happy, smiled and genuinely wanted to help me. The Chilli was excellent. And there was a great selection of bread to go with it. We don't have any options at our Timmie's. Way to go USA! You've made your Canadian brother proud! And no, 90% of Canadians DON'T say "eh".

I used to love the Southfield Tim Hortons so much they had the best employees but... The last 3 to 4 times I've been there I have never had such rude people serving me at any fast food chain ever in my life. This most recent visit I had literally had said hello into the speaker three times I waited for five minutes six minutes there was no will be right with you, sorry for the wait, hang on one second. Nothing. The kicker... There was a lady in front of me waiting at the window and there was two girls inside.

I was so excited to find a Tim Hortons near our hotel. I have really fond memories of Tim Hortons but hadn't been to one in years. Returning to one was OK, but a bit of a letdown. I feel like Dunkin' Donuts has better drinks and donuts. I got a very hot tea and a donut - both were fine, but not much to write home about.

I am no longer a Tim Horton virgin! I usually get my coffee fix from Starbucks or Coffee Bean. We are currently traveling cross-country and I noticed that Tim Horton was popping up everywhere. A friend told me a little about Tim Horton and I just had to give it a try. Lucky for me it was right next to our hotel. The first time we came here was for dessert. We ordered a box full of Tim-bits, which are pretty much donut holes. I wish they had more selections as it was limited to chocolate glaze, plain, and sugar glazed. They were a bit sweet but were enough to satisfy my sweet craving. The also had a lot of delicious looking donuts on display. The second time we came here, we tried their hot chocolate which was oh so good! So rich and chocolatey. We tried a couple of their sandwiches, the ham and swiss and the turkey and bacon, both of which were beautifully prepared and tasty. Will probably come here one last time before checking out of our hotel tomorrow. Gotta give their coffee a try!

I have a confession to lay at your feet. I've been having an office romance with Southfield Timmy's, though I remain mostly faithful to the Ferndale store. It all began so innocently to fulfill a promise to bring Timbits. I flitted through the drive-thru and placed my order in precise numbers based on personal tastes (pumpkin spice, apple cider) and coworker requests (chocolate, no old fashioned or plain). I received my box without fuss, confirmation on the quantities and types one and all before the attendant handed it to me. She insisted I check to make certain, and it was fine, no one was coming up behind me. What happened to hasty, flicker-flash, out the door and begone so we can get back to our iPads and Facebook? I think I swooned. This Timmy's does things right, although I haven't shown up at the 8:00-9:30am rush in the mornings, being an anti-morning person in general. When I have gone through, they have fresh products and move efficiently. My oatmeal has been toasty rather than lukewarm, the doughnuts delectable, and service with a smile. Quoi? What is this, a place aiming to be personable and efficient with careful service? I dare say it's a standard other Timmys in the area ought to aspire to reach.

This place is right across the street from my office so how could I not like it!! My usual is a large hot chocolate and a couple Tim bits!! YUMMM!!! This Tim Horton's is new(er) and they are so super fast when it comes to service and yet everything is still on point!! What's not to like about that!! Although my healthy way of eating does not allow me to indulge in the hot chocolate Tim bit combo very often when I do decide to dive in i know the service and quality at this Tim's will be the best!!

What a happy group of employees at this Tim Horton's! Being from Florida I had never been to a Tim Horton's before so after seeing them dotted around Michigan we decided to give them a try. I like that they have a bigger food selection than a Starbucks but I didn't think the donuts tasted as good as they looked. The coffee was also not as good (or expensive) as Starbucks. I actually much prefer Florida's coffee chain Barnie's to either Tims or Starbucks. What earned this Tims four stars were the awesome employees. It is so refreshing to have chain employees who act like they like their job! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. One of the ladies gave my son a free banana donut hole. The whole group was very warm and earned Tim Horton's four stars.

No, No, No, you guys have it all wrong !! Take it from me, a true Canuck !! These Tim Horton's that have sprung up like diapers in a dumpster here in Michigan SUCK !! That's right you heard it ! In Canada, Tim Horton's have hot coffee and creamy wonderful donuts. However here in Michigan, they are not the same at all. Here is the differences. In Michigan, the coffee at Timmy's (that's right, we call it Timmy's in Canada) is not HOT ! Who in the hell wants warm or lukewarm coffee ? And here in Michigan, they are always pushing the coffee protection sleeve on your drink cup ! How in H E double hockey sticks am I going to burn myself with 80 degree coffee ? Give it to me HOT ! If I hit bump and burn my crotch, so be it ! Why should we all have to put up with warm coffee since the lady sued McDonald's ? In Canada, we don't even have or offer the protection sleeve on a cup ! Save your sissy sleeve, because it is not for me ! The coffee is good if they get it right and it would be 50 degrees more hot ! Asking for a double/double is like playing Russian Roulette, you never know what you are going to get once you are a mile or km down the freeway. Sometimes they just add double the cream and forget the sugar ! The donuts here suck ! Big differences ! In Canada, the frosting on a donut at Timmy's is like cream, soft and rich with goodness ! Here in the midst of make a buck as fast as you can land, the frosting is like a wax. Why so many preservatives here in the donuts ? And another thing, clean the damn bathroom ! PIck up the cigarette butts in the parking lot for chres sakes ! Don't these employees take pride in their job ? Or are they just waiting to land that job with six figures while buffing their nails ! Get with it !

Call me crazy, but I think this location makes the best coffee. The service is slow as molasses in the early am (around 6), but its worth waiting a bit. I generally get the Bagel BELT combo with the whole grain blueberry muffin and a double double. The sandwich is filling and the muffin makes a great late morning snack. All of this for around $5.

The good: * They've always gotten my order right. * It was very quick. * The store looks well-kept inside. * Plenty of napkins The bad: * They put my frosted doughnut, unwrapped, in the bag with the napkins and sub. Half my frosting stuck to a napkin. * They don't clean their knives between cuts. You get a little bit extra from the previous patron's sub. * You feel rushed when placing your order, like you are imposing if you ask for any additions or deletions to your sandwich. * They just switched to Pepsi products. Blech! No more combo meals for me! (Almost earned them a star deduction.) It's about what you expect from fast food. A decent meal with a few flaws.

I regularly hit the drive thru on my way into work and they are fast, accurate and friendly. A very solid location considering how busy they are.
