10% Senior Discount in this super clean, aways friendly neighborhood Ram's Horn. In a world where service seems to have taken a back seat, this restaurant is filled with professionals who make your dining experience feel like you're in a five star restaurant despite the family friendly fare. Though the decor needs updating, the management is top notch and so are the busmen. Healthy Way breakfast still my fav, but now they offer gluten free toast!

This is by far my favorite 24-hr place. Service is amazing, portions are huge, and it's super cheap! Being a Californian now, we don't have Ram's Horn. But I wish we did!

I loved this place growing up. They always had such good food. Recently they have been slacking in quality and have raised the prices. I have begun going less and less based on the prices hike, poor service, and quality of the food.

Worst service I've ever received. Waitress doesn't check in to see how food is, doesn't bother to refill empty drink glasses as they sit on edge of table, never brought the bill. Had to ask buss boy for water and napkins because waitress never came around. Ordered a country bowl and two eggs with hash browns bacon and a waffle bill was $30 for 2 people. I will never go back. Denny's or ihop is way better than this place. Management should reconsider their waitstaff and check on customers. This place will lose business if it continues to be so shitty.

While the food is just okay, this place treats it's regulars like family. The staff is wonderful and the food is....well, it's Ram's Horn. They do their best. I work in the area and love that the delivery guys know their customers and how friendly they are. They are incredibly kid friendly and the magician who comes out Thursday nights is a hoot. Stars are for staff.....not food.

Very friendly staff. Server was outstanding. Very clean and well maintained family restaurant. I had grilled salmon which was outstanding. The meal you get for the value is incredible. Menu had many choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. When back in town, I will definitely return.

Sunday Breakfast - The Ram's Horn was clean, the waitress (Erica) was pleasant and took my order. With only a couple of tables occupied by customers my order was fast....7:53 minutes from order to on the table. The Belgium Waffle to my disappointment was under cooked and cold along with the syrup. The big breakfast consisting of three eggs (Over easy), hash browns, sausage links and wheat toast was cooked well. The breakfast was a 6 out of 10.

Very good service and good food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are good. My favorites are the lunches and dinners. The cheeseburgers and other sandwiches are very good. The turkey burger is one of the best sandwiches.

AVOID UNLESS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A STOMACH ACHE! This rams horn reminded me of places I've seen on Kitchen Nightmares. The first thing that set me off was that the menu was really sticky and the countertop wasn't clean. I felt like I needed to wash my hands if I touched anything besides the food and silverware. The servers seemed to be there to socialize rather than work but worst of all... the food was awful! As hungry as I was I couldn't take more than a few bites of my dish. The fish didn't taste like fish and the chicken soup tasted as if it were out of a can and than watered down. I believe the bun was warmed by microwave because it had that strange de-hydrated thickness to it. The mayonnaise handed to me ( in little plastic packaging) tasted extremely odd and had a watery texture. The only things here that were up to standard were the diet coke and fries. At $13 for a sandwich and cup of soup, I felt it was overpriced especially considering the quality (or lack thereof). Honestly, my stomach would've been better off at McDonalds... I feel seriously ill.

I enjoy this rams horn about twice a month. It's very cheap but the food is good. The servers are very polite. The food for the price is great.

Rams Horn restaurants are hit or miss. Most of them I would say are a miss. However the one located close to 12 Mile/Telegraph is an step above rest. The staff is always super friendly, and your drink will never be empty. The staff was even kind enough to make me a swanky frankly (a hot dog wrapped in bacon and filled with cheese) even though it isn't on the menu anymore. It's stuff like that really makes a difference. The prices are good, and the food seems to taste better then at other Rams Horns down the road. A good place to eat, breakfast, lunch, dinner, or late night, and don't forget to try the chicken noodle soup.

Firecracker tilapia was terrible. Mashed potatoes tasted like they were out of a box with a ton of gravy. Never would've came here.

Terrible service! We had a waitress who was excellent taking our order, but then out of nowhere she was told to leave her shift, leaving us without any server. When we asked the manager for our drink refills, he yelled across the room for the bus boy to get it. Nobody else came to serve us again. We even asked for another server and the manager did not care. Do not eat here if you want to be treated with respect.

These two stars just because this place opens 24/7. The food was not good at all, i expected much more of this place. in fact i tried it twice and didn't like it in both times. I dare anyone can say they have one fresh thing in the menu, Fries not good, i am glad the second time i took the chilli fries gave it a flavor. the burger dont waste your money on it, this place needs to change their food quality. Service was good. I heard people telling me to try their breakfast but i don't think i will give it a try after all what i experienced there. it might be good though..

I have been going to this Ram's Horn for years - probably at least 15 years. It's been owned by the same family for longer and is a wonderful restaurant. Let me tell you a bit more about the genuine poeple there. My mother has lots of health issues, and hasn't been able to drive for over 8 years. I would frequently take her shopping, to Dr appointments and to the casinos - our first stop was ALWAYS this Ram's Horn for breakfast. There was always the same few servers, who knew us by name and remembered orders by heart. My dad would even get carryout for my mom form there occasionally and he, too, was well-known. My mother passed away last July and the outpouring of love and affection from this store was overwhelming. I stop in weekly to have breakfast and see either Rose or Susie (mother & daughter servers), and they're sweet as can be. So, this may not be a 5-star restaurant in terms of steaks and chops, but it's a good, solid diner/family restaurant. Breakfasts are the best (chicken fried steak & eggs is THE BOMB), good pita sandwiches and the cobb salad is great. Good food, good service and truly caring employees. HIGHLY recommend.

The only meal that I trust this place to make for me is breakfast! Once I ordered a Caesar salad And there was no romaine lettuce in sight. It was soggy, the chicken was not at all fresh at all and was small. There were other random veggies thrown in such as tomato and onions (not the contents according to the menu so I should have been asked if i wanted these add'l items in my salad). This is not the only gripe I have about the food, just an example... However, I really do like their strawberry pancakes...The staff is usually nice and it's usually clean. Still far from a favorite place of mine... Recently I noticed a new facade on the building, so I wonder if anything as changed with the quality of the meals...

The ultimate potato skins were not the best. The potato was dry and i knew immediately it was mad from bad frozen potatoes! The country breakfast bowl was awesome. I loved the gravy in it. It is a pretty heavy breakfast bowl though. The pricing was reasonable and the service was pretty good too.

Not a bad place for breakfast! One day I'm going to try their lunch menu. I just wish they get rid of the carpet in the dinning room...gross!

Eating at Ram's Horn now only occurs late night in my world, when the only options are fast food or Meijers. It's one of those joints that brings back memories of when we were too young to go to bars and would sit and chain smoke cigs, and drink coffee for hours, not ordering any food, to the dismay of our waitress. I think that for a diner type spot, the food is totally edible, tasty even. Real mushrooms, omelettes not over salted, coffee not too watered down. The french fries are not the best I have had, but the milkshakes make up for that. Certainly not a fine dining experience, but it doesn't get much better at midnight in Southfield. If you are post-bar, hungry and in suburbia, stop by Ram's Horn and enjoy the excellent service and non-florescent lighting.

This is the best place for an after 2 am meal. It does tend to get a bit rowdy at that hour but when you have the munchies you can easily get past it. I have been to many a Ram's Horn in my day and I'd have to say that this location has really good service. I started stopping here for a quick pre-work breakfast and found the wait to be short and the prices cheap!

Oh wow, I totally agree with Pookie's review. I AM on of those drunks that come to Ram's Horn at 3am!!! Well, actually I used to be back in high-school. I must say, I am a little more mature now. Ram's Horn used to be a bustling franchise around metro-Detroit but I do not notice as many of them as there used to be. I would always come here for lunch, where the BLT"s are awesome, as well as the chicken soup. Of course, at 3am I would get a slamming waffle with bacon and eggs and would be pretty satisfied.

What can I say? Food ain't that great but at 2:30am it taste like heaven! Unfortunately this is one of the few places in the Detroit metro area where you can get something to eat after a night of partying. The wait staff is usually overwhelmed so the service is just OK. The food is typical of any late night diner. Greasy and loaded with tons of extras like the whip cream you get on your pancakes or in your hot chocolate. To be honest, I go here when I feel as if I haven't hung out late enough. Something about coming in the house at 2am when I left at 11pm just doesn't seem right. It could be worse. I could be at home in the kitchen with a cheese sandwich. I'll take the Ram's Horn for $200 Alex!
