I frequent this place about once per week. Good pizza and good service. They get me in and out.

I used to love this place however, today I went in and my credit card was declined twice so I used my debit, it was declined also. Called the bank and they said nothing has posted that is was declined and the merchant was the issue. Might not be their problem if their credit card machine went down but it's enough to affect a perfect score. I had to go else where for pizza on lunch.

couldn't even eat my slices. (square pair of roni's) So nasty and dead for lunchtime (110PM) Really grossed out.

Tried them for the first time at the Southfield location and the pizza was pretty good. We had the 24" pepperoni pizza and I enjoyed it very much.

Marvelous, marvelous place. My daughter can't eat tomato sauce, and they special made the pizza with whitesauce that was great. The entire family enjoyed, and they made it fast. Would visit again. I had a salad that was great. Made just the way I like it in Michigan. You know that in Detroit they put beets on a Greek Salad? I think Detroit is the only place that does that. I love Detroit!

I've been to this Benito's before and had no problems until tonight. If you do a Google search for this location, it states that they close at midnight on Saturdays. I called around 11:15, asked if I could place an order, and was immediately asked to hold. After being on hold for twenty minutes, I decided it might be easier to make the 10 minute drive and order/pick-up. After arriving, still on hold through my phone, I'm greeted with "Sorry, we're closed." I asked, "How long have you been closed?" and the guy says, "Since 11." I then asked, "Why did someone answer the phone at 11:15 and ask me to hold on?" while holding up my phone to show him that I was STILL on hold. Of course since he was probably the a-hole who asked me to hold in the first place, he offers to make me something, but I declined. I love Benito's, but his location will never get my money again.

Recently under new management, this struggling pizza place has yet to really "own" the downtown Southfield area. Their pizza actually isn't too bad, and is a mark above the national chains. This location features a pizza and salad bar. Prices are reasonable and the staff has always been friendly. Even though the interior is set-up as a sit-down restaurant, most of the customers still do carry-out. The pizza by the slice is huge and a good value. Considering it is one of the few pizza joints in the area, I'm giving it 4 stars. We've ordered a few of their party pizzas and they are incredibly sized. I think 2 feet diameter. 1 party pizza can feed at least 20 people. Here's to hoping the new managers keep making it better.

I have been to this Benito's multiple times. Here's what you get: decent pizza, nice staff, and really poor service. The cashiers are nice and say hello. i really think they want to do well but simply don't know what they're doing. Case in point: They now have a pizza and salad buffet from 11 am - 2 pm M-F. Except they don't have any pizza. i mean, literally 1 slice on the buffet for 10 minutes at a time. Let me paint the picture, it's noon on a Monday in downtown Southfield area and all the suit and tie guys show up in mass herds. You put out a couple pizzas and like vultures the food is gone in 5 minutes. 10 minutes later you repeat the same steps. You gotta be quick if you want a slice so bring your cross trainers! Also, the pizza is in a place where you can't see if from where you are sitting so you have to keep getting up to see if anything has been put out. From where i was sitting I could see right in the kitchen and the cooks are moving at a snails pace. i MEAN, IT'S LUNCH RUSH HOUR GUYS--LET'S GET MOVIN'! Plus the buffet is $6.99 without a drink. So it's almost $9 for lunch when you get a drinky poo. Never again.

I like the food and it is a great deal, but after several trips there the service became awful. Haven't been back since a 60min wait and full meltdown of the staff that had people swearing and yelling from both sides of the counter... it was unreal. Some capable staffing would make this place MUCH better.
