Holy smokes the food is good and plenty. Unassuming dining area, very friendly service, and quick cooking times. I stopped in for take out, ordered a gyro and spinach pie. I was offered something to drink while I waited, which is a nice touch. Food was ready before I knew it and smelled very good. I thought the spinach pie was great and the gyro had a generous supply of meat which was hand cut and well spiced. Definitely worth a try!
I agree with everyone... This place is fantastic. The gyro, spanakopites, souvlakia, and keftedes are out of this world. You will never want to go to a coney place for "Greek" again. Gyro Kafe is my happy place and so close to home!
Think of the Gyro Cafe as a non-chain fast casual restaurant. They have tables inside like a diner. Real silverware, too. Gyros are very good. The Greek salad was fresh and had a classic Greek dressing. French fries are thick cut. Service is excellent.
What a nice place to meet my family for dinner. Our waitress, Ashley, was so friendly!! I would definitely ask for her section if she's working the next time we're back. Spaghetti was a favorite tonight!! Even my 2 year old granddaughter liked it... and she's as picky as they come! I have a feeling we will be heading back again to try more things on the menu. All ages qualify for the senior portion meal too. I like that option when a big plate of food is not what I need.
First of all, Jeff jeff is crazy. I've been to Danny's many times, the food and service are always good. They keep your coffee cup filled and are always pleasant!
Agreed Jeff Jeff is cray cray. Meal was good served promptly and with a smile. Furthermore I went to another establishment today and they were out of strawberries also. I think my nephew (aka Jeff Jeff) went in not wanting to like Danny because he wanted to go where he wanted to go probably chuck e cheese or something like that. The place we went today also had very cold ICED tea and nobody died there either. Should of had the BIG BREAKFAST BEN
