    4. Yep 4. Why 4? Because the corned beef hash sunny side up with some franks red hot sauce made my entire day. Is this place gourmet, NO. Is it fancy? NO. Is it little more than an old school diner with some cool vintage auto memorabilia? NO. But it is what it is and it does it well. It's an old school greasy spoon diner and I loved every friggin bit of it

We stopped in at Studebakers on Saturday morning prior to us taking the Soo Locks Tour cruise. We were seated immediately.....the restaurant was immaculately clean and we had the best waitress! Our food was delivered quickly, everything was cooked to perfection and well,,,they had awesome coffee! We highly suggest!!

Had diner here on a Wednesday evening, seemed to have a a lot of locals which is a sign of a good place. The bathroom was CLEAN as was the rest of the restaurant. Had bean and ham soup which was good. My husband had a fish dinner (sorry forgot what kind of fish) which was a large portion and cooked nicely. Prices reasonable for the tourist area.

Not a fan. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very out dated, from what I saw everything did seem clean though. At least where we were sitting. Absolutely none of the food tasted as tho it was made fresh in house, everything we ordered (chicken tenders with fries and cole slaw, and a burger with fries and soup) tasted as if it was frozen. The only thing i enjoyed was the cole slaw. Won't be going back.

Yesterday I had the best chicken fried steak breakfast I have ever eaten anywhere. Actually a real steak with huge portions for breakfast.

I don't have much to say about the atmosphere or menu here, it's pretty average I guess. But once in awhile I just really want a salad bar, and this is the place to go for a salad bar in SSM, as far as I know! :) Also (if you want to cancel out all the health benefits of your salad, haha) the deep fried ice cream is amazing. I've only ever had deep fried ice cream at 2 different places, but Studebaker's was far superior. They used to have a 7 layer dip that was also remarkable but sadly they have removed it from the menu. Big mistake. Big. Huge. :)

Nice restaurant. Very old school feel. Amazing food! It was typical prices that you would see at applebee's or chili's. Had a piece of cherry pie and was not impressed. I think it was like a frozen pie thawed out. Over all though it was great service and great food.

We ate here twice during a recent visit to the Soo, for dinner and breakfast. Both times, the food was delicious and the server was very friendly. The decor is a little dated, including the vinyl tableclothes, but with food and service as good as it was, what's on the walls doesn't matter at all.

Worst biscuits and gravy ever. Ever. How can you screw up something as simple as biscuits and gravy? Well, let me tell you. 1. Start with a cold biscuit out of the chiller. 2. Open a packet of the gravy mix you can buy in the store for 49 cents. 3. Cut up one sausage link and add to gravy. 4. Serve. I specifically choose the biscuits and gravy because it is so hard to screw up. Ugh! Wouldn't come back on a bet.

I had a "Studeburger" W/fries and my wife had a Club Sandwich W/homemade potato chips. Both were good, hearty sandwiches. Fries were good, wife didn't care for the chips. Overall, pretty good food moderately priced.

We pulled into or hotel after a day of driving and next door is the Studebaker Restaurant. After reading the reviews we were hesitant to eat here. We are so glad we took the risk! Had the wet burrito and the chicken pot pie, we both had the fried ice cream too. Highly recommend the place. The foods was delicious, the service was great, the decor is automotive past. Go and enjoy!

I ordered a T-bone steak and my wife ordered prime rib. The steak was tasteless. It was the toughest T-bone I have ever eaten. The prime rib had obviously been pre-cooked and just warmed up in a microwave. The over salted "gravy" that came with the prime rib was from packaged mix. We had the salad bar with the meal. Nothing exceptional there. The soup was flavorless and salty. My over all impression is that they are buying their food from the cheapest sources possible.

We ate here in their back room designed for groups with members of our church. My husband and I had the Sunday breakfast buffet and were very underwhelmed. The eggs were dry and crumbly and the buffet very little variety. I've heard good things about the menu, but after that experience I don't know if we will be back.

Loved the buffet, the soup and salad buffet was amazing. So many soups to choose from! All delicious. Sandwiches are really good too. Pretty quiet inside. Good for families and large parties. Wait staff was always lacking but had one or two friendly, happy servers. Last visit in 2010...hope it hasn't changed much. If you need to be super impressed, skip it. If you want a good meal, this is a good place.
