We just moved to the area and this was our first dining experience. The pizza we ordered was great, the service fast and friendly. We will definatly order pizza from this place again.
Pizza was fab. The two women working and doing it all were perfect friendly and the pizza too notch. Tons of topping and great flavor.
Wow! First time here and I'm so glad I listened to the reviews. This place is top notch, and incredible. So incredible, I want to open my own Guido's in my hometown. Guido, if you're listening, I want in.

Loved the beer selection. Started with fired pickle chips and Texas toothpicks, both were fast and tasty. Sauce was awesome on the toothpicks, nice and spicy, so I saved it for my fries. Loved the prime dip and the chicken avocado sandwich. My husband and I ordered and shared and though they were both awesome. Friends got whitefish basket and were happy that it was fresh (and not from GFS or Cysco). Only thing that could have been better were the onion rings. Brian was our server and he was quick to serve and attentive even though it was busy as both MI and MI State games were on. Will definitely be back on our next trip to the Soo!
If you're hard up ... then pay a visit to Moloney's. There is a dearth of eating establishments in the actual downtown area of The Soo. So if you're famished, tired, and don't want to drive, try here. But be ready, you're gonna eat. But that's about all. My wife & I stopped here for the exact reasons above. It was 7:00pm on Sunday, only about 3 or 4 tables were occupied. A few more patrons at the bar, yet ythere was no hostess to seat us. We walked around to scope out seats when the bartender told us just pick an open table. OK then. In general, the service that night was horrible. We were served our drinks after about a 10 minute wait. Then we waited another 20 minutes to see our waiter. This person did not even introduce themself or say anything at all. So I guess we're ready to order??? OK then. It took us another 20 minutes to get our food. The menu there is typical bar fare. I ordered the pastrami sandwich. The sandwich itself was outstanding. It was served with carmelized onions on it - a good flair. But I paid extra for the Moloney fries - a total waste. It was an extra 3 bucks for some salty gravy, stringy cheese & supposed bacon. My wife ordered nachos with beef & chicken. I could tell by looking that the beef had been around a while. My wife said that the chicken was unrecognizable. After over an hour in there, we were out! Prices in general are good. The beer was cold. We paid $40 with tip (we were way too nice on the tip). At least Moloney's has a pub feel. But beware. We had been to Moloney's a few years back and the experience was OK. Much better than this time. Next time, I'm geting in the car and driving to Antler's or Clyde's.
Without a doubt one of my favorite hangouts while in college. Good burger and fries. I still love the atmosphere of the place. Always have good beer available.

Great Mexican food in a fun atmosphere! I had a burrito, chips/salsa, and a blended margarita. Our host & server were both friendly & attentive, even though the place was packed-mid-week! Please try the flour tortillas! Yum! The corn chips were good, too (served warm), but I loved the flour.
Went here one night with a large group of women, we called ahead, made our reservation and apparently there was a mix up with our reservation and we ended up being told we would have to wait for 2 hours to be seated. We were all at the 2 small table areas by the door/bar area no one was asked if they wanted anything to drink. If you wanted something you had to go to the bar and even then people were having a hard time getting drinks. We all ended up leaving and going to dinner at another place. The next day my husband and I went here for lunch and the food was pretty good, we got much better service and the food was out quickly. I don't see what the big deal is about the flour chips, they weren't very sturdy almost as if they weren't cooked long enough.
Yikes. I so wanted to like this place but I didn't. The queso was marginal at best. Just bland cheese flavor with little spice and no complexity. The homemade flour chips were chewy/soggy. The rice was unique and had promise but in the end was just ok. Same for the enchilada - I had high hopes but they were dashed. I'm not a Mexican food snob but I've had way better. Sorry Palace - it just wasn't good.

The Antler’s Restaurant

Reviews:
The Antlers. Hah! Yeah, this place is as sub-par as it gets for me. Let's get the food part out of the way: It's not enjoyable. If you enjoy dropping a few bucks for food that is of poor quality (eg soggy greasy fries, steak that, as one person had put it, is "like chewing on a cow's butt", or a "healthy option" menu that consists of a chicken wrap that is basically a cold chicken taco loaded with cheese and sour cream on a flour tortilla) then by all means, help yourself. The decor is interesting, but ultimately uncomfortable. You find yourself surrounded by trinkets, stuffed bears or other animals, and plenty of decapitated preserved heads hanging on the wall, collecting who knows how many years of dust, all looking down at you. The occasional siren and boat horn pierces the din of the sometimes-busy dining area, sometimes for a reason, but more often than not with no reason. It's a tourist trap. It serves its purpose well to that extent, as you pass through the gift shop before you get to the seating area. The only redeeming factors are that, sometimes, you get friendly service. Of the times I've been there, I get good service about 25% of the time. I don't know why I subject myself to this place to even come up with a percentage like that -- oh yeah, now I remember, because it's a tourist trap, and some guy has told whoever that they've gotta try this place. The other factor would be the quirky menu. Plenty of Michigan Upper Peninsula humor, but that only lasts as long as you're reading the menu. It's the kind of place that offers a menu where a peanut butter and jelly sandwich could potentially cost more than a steak. If you're told to go, it's because the suggester has fallen into the trap. Don't do it. Save yourself. You want a burger and fries? Try Jeff's 50's restaurant, West Pier Drive-In, or if you're up for it, the local bowling alley (which I'm told has the best burgers in town). Kids seem distracted/occupied by this place. If you have kids, and they desperately need eye candy, well, that's your call. It would probably work. Overall, you'd be wasting your time and money going here.
the Myth, the Legend, the Antlers. You gotta go to say you've been there. Four-stars for coolness.
Visually good. Animals everywhere. Alot to look at. Meal is just ok. I seem to remember the food being better and menu being larger.
