My husband and I did delivery. We ordered off their website which was very easy and we got our food within 15-20 min. The food was very good and we highly recommend them for your next Chinese craving! Will be ordering again from them soon!

We went to Guilin with high hopes, but were sorely disappointed. While the staff was very friendly, the portions were generous, and the prices were good, the food was seriously lacking. Four of us ordered a variety of dishes, including wonton soup, chicken with mixed vegetables, cashew shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, and pork fried rice. Sadly, every dish was oily and tasted like stale cooking grease. We picked at what we had, even declined the carryout cartons.

Just ordered takeout from Guilin for the first time - using the website, which is fantastic, by the way. Paid for my order with a credit card online. Hopped into the car to pick it up. The place was as described by other reviewers - spare. The cash register is in the back. One of the daughters was running the register. She was efficient and pleasant. We got the Pu Pu Platter. It is a set of fried appetizers, two of five different kinds, so perfect for sharing between two people. Tasted OK. Hubby liked the combination of flavors. We also got Beef & Broccoli. We thought it needed a little soy sauce to be just a little more salty, but everyone has different salt levels in their diet, so maybe that's a good thing. Definitely will order from them again. They deliver, but I'm pretty sure my house is outside their area.

You can order delivery right through their website, the only place in Saline I've seen this. Hooray! Loved the General Tsao chicken and the Sweet & Sour shrimp.

My wife and I have been living in Saline for almost 2 years and hadn't found our "go to" Chinese restaurant. We got a menu in the mail for Gui Lin and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is scarce and there's no signage when you walk in to tell you to whether to seat yourself or wait (go ahead and seat yourself!). That's why I only gave them 4 stars. Otherwise, my General Tso's chicken was very good and my wife's sweet and sour chicken was also great! The pork fried rice that comes with the dinner combos's was also very tasty and the portion size was just right. I would have to say that if food quality stays as good as this first meal this will definitely be where we go for sit down and carry out Chinese food from now on!!

Saline is a small town with pretty bad restaurants but good schools. We ate here once when it opened. Greasy, poor quality Chinese food. Ann Arbor has at least 4 Chinese restaurants I can think of that are better than either of Saline's two Chinese options. Subway nearby is quite good.

Best Asian Chinese food in Saline/Ann Arbor, by far! Yelp got us here the first time, but we almost left without even walking in because of the outside appearance- 1/2 vacant strip mall, very *unassuming* storefront. My husband insisted we try it... What a delicious surprise! Great food, very clean restrooms, wonderful people working there. They also deliver! (And... Another great treat is Mickey's Dairy in the next parking lot- go there for dessert- Homemade ice cream )

Atmosphere is lacking but our meals arrived hot in short order. Cashew chicken was good but needed more cashews, egg drop soup was very good but the pork chow mein was mostly vegetables and very little pork. All flavored were good and ample portions. We also had the crab cheese appetizer and it was delicious.

This is our "go to" place for chinese. Let's be honest you don't get chinese food because it's healthy! This is our favorite place in the area. I love the portion sizes, they are just right, usually bringing a little home. The general tso's is really good. Daughter likes the honey chicken. Atmosphere is quaint. It's a small place with about 10 tables or so. Family owned, don't be suprised if your order is taken by one of the kids. That being said, they are friendly and always give great service. I would eat here more if my cardiologist allowed it!! Try the beef roll. It's beef and cheese in an egg roll. Yumm!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
