Growing up in Saline, going out to breakfast is an often occurrence for me-be it with family members or friends. I believe that after giving every breakfast restaurant in Saline it's fair chance, City Limits is tops in the town. I usually get the omelette-always fluffy and steaming hot served with a heap of home fries and toast (they also offer pancakes instead of toast). I've also had their skillets which are very tasty as well. Every single time I've eaten here I've left very satisfied with the food and how much I paid for it. The workers here are very friendly, too, which gives it a family atmosphere perfect for a next-day hangover cure, a family get-together, or just to grab breakfast with some good friends.

Great food - dirty place I love the menu selection! Now update the interior, clean the floors and bathroom, train the wait staff, put up proper partitions between prep and dining areas, and this would be a nice place to eat. We won't be back unless we see some updates happen. Sticky divy diner place that is worse than any coney island I've come across. I was worried about the quality of the food but we were pressed for time and out of options. The food was great! I had one of the Benedict selections and my hubs had crepes. Great food! I hope they clean up the rest.

I've been here several times for breakfast and lunch. Just an ordinary little diner where you can get all the American staples, and a few surprises, like the chicken quesadilla. Should have ordered that today, but I went with a chicken salad sandwich. Decent-sized portions. Decent prices, too. If you order from the specials list, a sandwich, fries or onion rings + side salad or soup will set you back $6. They are NOT open for dinner. Only breakfast and lunch. This is the kind of place where everybody waves to each other when someone they know shows up. Saline is a small town, and you get to know folks here. An update: I went back about a week later and tried the chicken quesadilla lunch special. Bland! But I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I'll stick with the stuff they do best -- regular, "American diner" sandwiches. Maybe next time, I'll get the gyro sandwich. The young ladies that work here as wait staff are real sweet on one of our neighbors, who is a regular. They fuss over this old guy like you wouldn't believe. I find that touching, that they are so friendly.

Great gyro omelette! They are true angels with excellent service and attention to detail. They messed up one of my orders but got it right the next time, and also got it right another time I came in, but I forgave them and enjoyed the atmosphere. There is a classic Americana feel here in this small diner, and I personally love it. They have big portions which are appropriate for what you pay. There is also a great selection of toppings for the omelettes.

I eat here a couple times a month. I use it also as a meeting place for business occasionally. Food is consistently good whether you order breakfast or lunch. I like the skillets at breakfast and I love the gyros or wraps at lunch.

I've only been here for breakfast, and I've always liked it. A bonus: it's not as greasy as the OTHER breakfast place in town that I also love!

Really enjoyed breakfast here. My husband and I moved to Saline a few years ago and this was our first time in. He had french toast and I had an omlette. It came with fresh fruit and raisin toast and everything tasted great. The waitress was very fast and attentive always making sure we had everything we needed and making sure there was always coffee in my cup. Look forward to going back and so fortunate to have so many great places in our home town : )

Lots of food for little price. Who doesn't like om letters, eggs, cinnamon toast, and fresh fruit? Gyros are good. Only open for breakfast and lunch.

I eat breakfast here with my parents often. Very friendly staff. Typical greasy spoon. Good value. Fresh fruit in place of hash browns and pancakes for toast. Yum

I wish I could find even one thing good to say about this place, but I can't. The food wasn't good, the prices were high, the service was lousy and the booth we sat in had food on the seats. I ordered one of their $8+ 'skillets' that was supposed to have 'home fries' in it, which to me means chunks of crispy potatoes. The home fries turned out to be raw mashed up potatoes, and when I asked the waitress about it, she said, 'Oh, that's how we make our home fries...' O.k., but cold & raw?? Also, the mushrooms in it were canned and rubbery and the broccoli was old and brown. I ended up eating the toast and eggs from the top of the 'skillet', and left the rest. When I told the waitress about it, she didn't seem concerned or ask if I wanted anything else; she just took the plate away & eventually told me the manager had deducted 10% of my order (roughly .85) to compensate. I told her I didn't eat most of it, but would pay for the eggs and toast I had, but was told the manager said 'No', and the most they would take off was .85 and my husband's coffee. So we ended up paying almost $20 for what little we ate. (My husband's breakfast was edible, although he said the pancakes weren't very good.) If the manager would have stepped over, apologized, and removed even half of my meal, I would have been o.k. with it, but there was no excuse for treating us this way. I would definitely not recommend this place; we would have been better off at McDonalds.

A good greasy spoon. Nothing special, but dependable for decent food and good service.

Everything about this place was average. Average food. Average waitstaff. Average wait time. Average prices. The food portions were a bit more than we expected though. Nice, big, Midwest hungry man plate sizes. We ordered a little bit of everything for breakfast. Good biscuits and gravy. Good ham. Good sausage. Good bacon. Pancakes weren't the greatest. Eggs were a little undercooked for our taste. Light and buttery and fluffy, they just could have been left on a minute longer. But again. Everything tasted like it should. A decent place to go if you're hungry. Not great food but not bad either. Average. You will leave feeling full and good about yourself and life and that's all that really matters anyway, isn't it?
