If you're in the mood for the iconic greasy sliders, White Castle fits the bill. The staff is always fine, but this is a good place to carry nothing short of a 40 or 45 caliber Glock because it's a rough crowd here around the clock. A 38 special or 9mm probably won't get you out of a jam here. I remember the homicide they had here in 1987 during my Gratiot cruising days. I like to go here only between 6am and 2pm since then. The new egg and sausage breakfast slider is downright excellent and worthy of trying if McDonald's has too many seniors lined up to get free coffee refills.

Finally, years after I learned about White castle thanks to Harold and Kumar, I get the chance to try these legendary sliders. To be honest with you, I was not a fan at all. Sure, price wise they're real cheap but the food was not satisfying, even in my inebriated state. I thought the fries had a weird after taste and the sliders were just greasy, bland and just sat in my stomach. Not a pleasant feeling at all. Maybe if I haven't been to exposed to chains such as Shake Shack, In-N-Out or Dick's, I probably wouldn't have judge these as harsh. But really, you're better off going elsewhere for late night munchies.

It's White Castle so you know what you're going to get. It's not healthy eating but at 2am not much is. Let's face it most people only go to White Castle after midnight anyway. You know you'll pay for it later but damn if those greasy little burgers hit the spot. There's usually a line at the drive-thru but it's worth the wait when that burger craving takes over or you need something to soak up the alcohol. There's usually guilt associated with eating here. Just embrace it.

I pull up & he says the drive through speakers broke .?!?! BUT he was talking to me through it?!? So lets add to an already slow process, pull up to the window & order one car at a time. After 19 minutes in line, I would have normally bailed, except my 75 year old dad, was craving 2 Jalpeno Cheese after surgery..

Well, its white castle. The food is okay, i like the jalapeno cheese sliders and the clam strips. The drivethrough takes forever every time i go here though but when i want food in the middle of the night again at some point i know I'll end up here.

I had to laugh at the comment someone made about it not being the safest place anymore. Nothing has changed around here, it's just as safe as it was when you used to come here while cruising. Anyway, it's White Caste. Delicious yummy burgers that I wish I could eat 24/7. This location can sometimes get busy but the food is what you'd expect.

Our order was wrong. I order straight WC and mine were slathered with mustard (no ketchup, only mustard with the onion.) My husband order his with cheese and without onion and his had onion. We spent $18 on food that was really sad.

My first time back to Michigan in almost 10 years and this was the first place I wanted to go eat... and I did. Being from Clinton Twp., back in my cruising Gratiot days, the closest WC was down at 8 Mile Road and the Top Hat that used to be at 12 mile was the nearest match. I was happy when they built this nearer site. I can recall many a late night grabbing a quick after-hours meal here. Not much has changed from my last visit. The interior has been changed and now they have chicken on the menu (what's up with that?). The burgers were as good as I recall... but... mayhaps it's just an error in my memory, but I seem to recall the mustard/ketchup mix was originally about 50/50 but now it seems to be much heavier on the mustard and I had to add a bit of ketchup to each burger to match my taste memory. The fries are better than most other fast food places... by far. The folks behind the counter were very friendly and courteous. And finally, the bathroom was cleaner than any fast food joint in California, where I now live. My next visit to Michigan will include a WC visit!
