Cracker Barrell is usually my go-to restaurant for Sunday breakfast if I don't want to cook or when I travel because I usually get a satisfying meal for a reasonable price. They have good portions. The restrooms need more attention and you can get some steals on the merchandise at this particular location as well. The service is very friendly and I usually have pleasant conversations with the people while I'm there. I usually have pancakes and bacon (love, love, love the bacon) or the fried catfish. Also the Coke Cola cake is great.

I don't mind coming here for breakfast, but other than that I have always felt that Cracker Barrel can be an overpriced choice. (not to mention the ridiculously high priced items inside their country store) But I came here for dinner on Sunday with my boyfriend and I ordered a satisfying dinner that was good enough to make me yelp! The menu had an insert advertising new homestyle skillet meals which was perfect because I really wasn't in the mood for anything from their usual menu like catfish or meatloaf. I was lured by the photos to try the Broccoli Cheddar Chicken. The meal was served in a cast iron skillet and consisted of big pieces of chicken tenderloin tossed with broccoli and cheese layered over hash brown casserole, and then lightly topped with ritz cracker crumbs. If that didn't cover all the comfort foods then I don't what does. It was so delicious and hearty that I actually ended up boxing half of it. My boyfriend also tried a skillet meal but he picked the Chicken Mushroom Jack. His skillet consisted of chicken and mushrooms in a butter sauce topped over seasoned rice with cheese. I took a couple bites from his meal and it was pretty good too but I noticed his skillet was a smaller portion than mine. Anyhow the meal also came with one side so I chose fried okra which ended up getting boxed with the rest of my leftovers. It was a lot of food to finish, and to top it off they bring out a plate full of their signature biscuits and corn bread. I'm hoping those skillet meals are not a temporary menu special because I'm a fan. The cost was pretty decent too; the skillet prices ranged from $7.99 to $8.99. And as always I gave my leftovers the old reheated next day test, and it was still tasty!

My wife and I ate here today for lunch. I had the perch,fried okra, and cole slaw. It was delicious. My wife had catfish, mashed potatoes and fried okra. These orders come with complimentary corn bread or biscuits. My wife had the biscuits and I ate corn bread. This was the real corn bread, crumbly and not sweetened to resemble cake, like most restaurants serve. Both meals rated a ten out of ten. The place is crowded and noisy, but so what? It's a family restaurant, not a gourmand restaurant. Service was exceptional and parking was plentiful. There was a 20 minute wait, which gave me time to shop through the old style candy bars and drop $20.00 on them. All and all a good time. I have eaten here several times and always been pleased with the food and service.

If you are a large party and you have Patty you might want to ask for someone else. She does not enjoy large parties. Except for Patty, who actually interrupted a family conversation with a "So Anyway" in an attempt to get us all to shut up so she could take our order it was a decent Cracker Barrel experience. My parents LOVE Cracker Barrel, so they weren't as cross as I was by the waitresses attempts to interrupt us and generally be combative with our requests. A little bit of humor, that doesn't really affect my review.. I had a hamburger that was made with two "bottom buns" while my brother in law had the two "Top Buns" on his burger. Overall a Meh experience, but if Cracker Barrel does better next time, I'll be sure to update my review

What can I say other than I'm a fan. You've been there before so I don't need to review the menu. We pretty much just go there for breakfast and of course, the place is always packed. Avoid Sunday mornings at all costs. Portions are large so bring an appetite or someone to share it with. When you go to the Roseville location, ask to sit in either Robin or Natasha's section. They are sweethearts and hustle to make their money. They also have the menu memorized and are quick to make suggestions that will benefit you either food or price wise. I love that! My only complaint is that everything comes on its own plate and you end up with a crazy amount of plates. The table top gets buried. My compliment is the real fire in the hearth when the weather turns cold. The smell of hickory is intoxicating.

Cracker Barrel is a chain restaurant, usually located near an interstate highway exit. They have a nice 'front porch' area with welcoming rocking chairs. Reserved handicap parking for those who need it, and for RVers, they usually have ample parking off to the side or out back. First off, I have never had a bad meal at Cracker Barrel. Their food is consistently good, and their offerings are consistently Southern. Of course, they also eat macaroni and cheese in the south, so there is honestly something for everyone. A section of the menu lists kids fare, so bring the kids along! This Cracker Barrel is usually busy. Sunday afternoon was no different, and the wait time for my party of 4 was about 10 minutes. If there is a wait, they will put you on the list and call out your name when a table becomes available. During that time, you are free to sit out on the rocking chairs, or perhaps browse in their store for an interesting item or two. Our server was pleasant and attentive, patiently allowing ample time to take our orders. Ayanna B. did an excellent job in taking care of our needs. We ordered 3 meals off of the $7.69 part of the menu. I can attest to the great taste of the Cajun Catfish meal, but the other meals were equally good. For a good meal that won't break the bank, give Cracker Barrel a try.

My server Juan was fantastic! The young lady in the country store was friendly and walked me around to promote for me the peg game to take home! Plus some proceeds went to Veterans organizations! How nice! I enjoyed it like any other CBOCS, but I had the haddock. That was so good! Along with their buttermilk biscuits and country vegetables, it was great!

This was EVERY time I've been there in the last few years. I went there with my son this past Monday (gift card from mom) let me run down the list of problems with this visit: Waitress was slow, no forks, no refills (or it took over a half hour to get them), had to send the steak back because it was well, well done (burnt), waitress forgot my greens and my sons baked potato and biscuits, chicken and dumplings were cold. The other tables were also sending back their plates as well. I really felt bad for the floor manager. Seems he had many unsatisfied customers and he was bouncing from table to table to make things right. I really want to like this place again. Probably because of sentimental reasons. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1.

I frequent Cracker Barrels but this place was a first for me. Run don't walk away. Waited and was ignored at hostess stand for seven minutes and several employees walking by with no acknowledgement I finally went to cashier and asked to be seated as I was with my blind father and I was getting angry at the rudeness , she never spoke to me just turned around and picked up the phone to call someone. Incidentally whomever she called still didn't respond. Finally got seated and my father asked her if she had a handy wipe available and her response was no and walked away. She spent her time filling sugar packets rather than cleaning the messy tables and floor. The waitress was nice and helpful but soup was stone cold.i wrote Cracker Barrel and have yet to get a response two weeks later. I frequent other CB stores up I 75 regularly and love them but this place was dirty and rude I have to say i will probably not frequent the others now because of the lack of response from corporate I was not looking for compensation but would have appreciated a letter or call that my concerns were addressed

Been to several Crack Barrel in several states but this one was a different experience than others. Have liked the food at all the others but this one was so so. Started off bad-no one was at the station to seat us so had to wait several minutes. When she did seat us put us at a table that was way too close to the diners at the next table. Asked her to move us which she did (it wasn't crowded when we arrived) waited for our server and waited. Finally came and took our orders of turkey dinners-I wanted a side salad as one of my sides. Sure she says. Brought our drinks and about 10-15 minutes later a different server brought our food. No salad. He sent our original server over-told her I didn't want it now and ordered okra instead. Turkey and dressing was good but a very small portion. Hubby didn't get his hashbrowns he ordered instead they brought him fries. Had to wait on the hashbrowns since she "wrote it wrong". Brought our check with the hashbrowns and never saw her again. Never came to see if we needed anything or wanted dessert. I like Cracker Barrel food but the service at this particular location was bad. Won't return to that location.

I love the store with all its old time charm and products. It brings back memories of the good old days. I also love the food, particularly the green beans which are cooked the way my mother cooked them and the turnip greens which you just don't find in too many restaurants. Good flavoring in both. Hubby had the pot roast which he said was super tender and very tasty (though he still likes my pot roast best - smart man). I wasn't super happy with either the service or the wait for the food, however. I asked three times for extra napkins, three times (maybe four) for more hot water for my tea. And it took more than 30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. When it did, the server informed Hubby that the fried apples he'd ordered would be another 25 minutes. He decided to order an alternate side dish instead. It was moderately crowded which may account for the several forgotten requests (though I can't imagine how many times you'd have to ask if it was super crowded) and that may have accounted for the slowness of our dinner arriving. But why it would take an extra 25 minutes to get fried apples? Unless they were fresh picked from the tree, that was a mistake on either the server's part or the cook's part. On the plus side, however, the server did bring our bread before the dinner since there seemed to be shortages on it (overheard this from other servers talking to other customers) and she also brought the apples when they were finally ready - at no additional charge. Of course, we were almost ready to leave by then. Yes, we'll go back but maybe try to get in a touch earlier or try a different day of the week, not the weekend.

There's really nothing like Cracker Barrel. I've been to dozens of this chains locations and though the food is always good and the portions plentiful. This one is a bit of a ghetto cracker barrel in that in sometimes has dirty bathrooms (one of the criteria I always look at in an eating establishment) and the service can be a bit iffy during the afternoon shift. I love the Country Boy breakfast which is served all day and includes your choice of grilled or fried catfish, or ham steak, or a juicy charbroiled steak, or grilled porkchops. It is served with biscuts and country gravy, grits, fried apples, and hashbrown cassarole.

Mh, what to say abut this place? Well I LOVE it! it's definitely got that down home country charm and when they actually use the fire place it's so welcoming! True the prices are a bit high, but the food for me has always been great so far. When it comes to their dinners I'm more prone to ordering their chicken n dumplings or their beef stew. For the sides the Mac n cheese, and the apples are great!! With their breakfast I can say, I've enjoyed their pancakes, the french toast, the biscuits and gravy, and even an omelette, which is NOT found on the menu but if you pay extra you can order one.

Cracker Barrell is usually my go-to restaurant for Sunday breakfast if I don't want to cook or when I travel because I usually get a satisfying meal for a reasonable price. They have good portions. The restrooms need more attention and you can get some steals on the merchandise at this particular location as well. The service is very friendly and I usually have pleasant conversations with the people while I'm there. I usually have pancakes and bacon (love, love, love the bacon) or the fried catfish. Also the Coke Cola cake is great.

I don't mind coming here for breakfast, but other than that I have always felt that Cracker Barrel can be an overpriced choice. (not to mention the ridiculously high priced items inside their country store) But I came here for dinner on Sunday with my boyfriend and I ordered a satisfying dinner that was good enough to make me yelp! The menu had an insert advertising new homestyle skillet meals which was perfect because I really wasn't in the mood for anything from their usual menu like catfish or meatloaf. I was lured by the photos to try the Broccoli Cheddar Chicken. The meal was served in a cast iron skillet and consisted of big pieces of chicken tenderloin tossed with broccoli and cheese layered over hash brown casserole, and then lightly topped with ritz cracker crumbs. If that didn't cover all the comfort foods then I don't what does. It was so delicious and hearty that I actually ended up boxing half of it. My boyfriend also tried a skillet meal but he picked the Chicken Mushroom Jack. His skillet consisted of chicken and mushrooms in a butter sauce topped over seasoned rice with cheese. I took a couple bites from his meal and it was pretty good too but I noticed his skillet was a smaller portion than mine. Anyhow the meal also came with one side so I chose fried okra which ended up getting boxed with the rest of my leftovers. It was a lot of food to finish, and to top it off they bring out a plate full of their signature biscuits and corn bread. I'm hoping those skillet meals are not a temporary menu special because I'm a fan. The cost was pretty decent too; the skillet prices ranged from $7.99 to $8.99. And as always I gave my leftovers the old reheated next day test, and it was still tasty!

My wife and I ate here today for lunch. I had the perch,fried okra, and cole slaw. It was delicious. My wife had catfish, mashed potatoes and fried okra. These orders come with complimentary corn bread or biscuits. My wife had the biscuits and I ate corn bread. This was the real corn bread, crumbly and not sweetened to resemble cake, like most restaurants serve. Both meals rated a ten out of ten. The place is crowded and noisy, but so what? It's a family restaurant, not a gourmand restaurant. Service was exceptional and parking was plentiful. There was a 20 minute wait, which gave me time to shop through the old style candy bars and drop $20.00 on them. All and all a good time. I have eaten here several times and always been pleased with the food and service.

If you are a large party and you have Patty you might want to ask for someone else. She does not enjoy large parties. Except for Patty, who actually interrupted a family conversation with a "So Anyway" in an attempt to get us all to shut up so she could take our order it was a decent Cracker Barrel experience. My parents LOVE Cracker Barrel, so they weren't as cross as I was by the waitresses attempts to interrupt us and generally be combative with our requests. A little bit of humor, that doesn't really affect my review.. I had a hamburger that was made with two "bottom buns" while my brother in law had the two "Top Buns" on his burger. Overall a Meh experience, but if Cracker Barrel does better next time, I'll be sure to update my review

What can I say other than I'm a fan. You've been there before so I don't need to review the menu. We pretty much just go there for breakfast and of course, the place is always packed. Avoid Sunday mornings at all costs. Portions are large so bring an appetite or someone to share it with. When you go to the Roseville location, ask to sit in either Robin or Natasha's section. They are sweethearts and hustle to make their money. They also have the menu memorized and are quick to make suggestions that will benefit you either food or price wise. I love that! My only complaint is that everything comes on its own plate and you end up with a crazy amount of plates. The table top gets buried. My compliment is the real fire in the hearth when the weather turns cold. The smell of hickory is intoxicating.

Cracker Barrel is a chain restaurant, usually located near an interstate highway exit. They have a nice 'front porch' area with welcoming rocking chairs. Reserved handicap parking for those who need it, and for RVers, they usually have ample parking off to the side or out back. First off, I have never had a bad meal at Cracker Barrel. Their food is consistently good, and their offerings are consistently Southern. Of course, they also eat macaroni and cheese in the south, so there is honestly something for everyone. A section of the menu lists kids fare, so bring the kids along! This Cracker Barrel is usually busy. Sunday afternoon was no different, and the wait time for my party of 4 was about 10 minutes. If there is a wait, they will put you on the list and call out your name when a table becomes available. During that time, you are free to sit out on the rocking chairs, or perhaps browse in their store for an interesting item or two. Our server was pleasant and attentive, patiently allowing ample time to take our orders. Ayanna B. did an excellent job in taking care of our needs. We ordered 3 meals off of the $7.69 part of the menu. I can attest to the great taste of the Cajun Catfish meal, but the other meals were equally good. For a good meal that won't break the bank, give Cracker Barrel a try.

My server Juan was fantastic! The young lady in the country store was friendly and walked me around to promote for me the peg game to take home! Plus some proceeds went to Veterans organizations! How nice! I enjoyed it like any other CBOCS, but I had the haddock. That was so good! Along with their buttermilk biscuits and country vegetables, it was great!

Back in the day, when Cracker Barrel stores where only in the south, going there was just something you did on vacation and you looked forward to it. Now I'm sad to say that it's just not the same. This was EVERY time I've been there in the last few years. I went there with my son this past Monday (gift card from mom) let me run down the list of problems with this visit: Waitress was slow, no forks, no refills (or it took over a half hour to get them), had to send the steak back because it was well, well done (burnt), waitress forgot my greens and my sons baked potato and biscuits, chicken and dumplings were cold. The other tables were also sending back their plates as well. I really felt bad for the floor manager. Seems he had many unsatisfied customers and he was bouncing from table to table to make things right. I really want to like this place again. Probably because of sentimental reasons. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1.

Ate here for second time on Saturday for lunch. Quite packed, took us 15 mins to get a table. Ordered the new deep fried chicken option from the menu and it was alright. Only complaint is the portion sizing seemed a bit small compared to the photo shown in the specials and to the portion sizes I am used to receiving from Cracker Barrel.

I frequent Cracker Barrels but this place was a first for me. Run don't walk away. Waited and was ignored at hostess stand for seven minutes and several employees walking by with no acknowledgement I finally went to cashier and asked to be seated as I was with my blind father and I was getting angry at the rudeness , she never spoke to me just turned around and picked up the phone to call someone. Incidentally whomever she called still didn't respond. Finally got seated and my father asked her if she had a handy wipe available and her response was no and walked away. She spent her time filling sugar packets rather than cleaning the messy tables and floor. The waitress was nice and helpful but soup was stone cold.i wrote Cracker Barrel and have yet to get a response two weeks later. I frequent other CB stores up I 75 regularly and love them but this place was dirty and rude I have to say i will probably not frequent the others now because of the lack of response from corporate I was not looking for compensation but would have appreciated a letter or call that my concerns were addressed

Been to several Crack Barrel in several states but this one was a different experience than others. Have liked the food at all the others but this one was so so. Started off bad-no one was at the station to seat us so had to wait several minutes. When she did seat us put us at a table that was way too close to the diners at the next table. Asked her to move us which she did (it wasn't crowded when we arrived) waited for our server and waited. Finally came and took our orders of turkey dinners-I wanted a side salad as one of my sides. Sure she says. Brought our drinks and about 10-15 minutes later a different server brought our food. No salad. He sent our original server over-told her I didn't want it now and ordered okra instead. Turkey and dressing was good but a very small portion. Hubby didn't get his hashbrowns he ordered instead they brought him fries. Had to wait on the hashbrowns since she "wrote it wrong". Brought our check with the hashbrowns and never saw her again. Never came to see if we needed anything or wanted dessert. I like Cracker Barrel food but the service at this particular location was bad. Won't return to that location.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I tried to order a meal to go and after being transferred 4 times I finally got to the right person to end up being hung up on. So I called back giving the benefit of the doubt & long and behold same scenario. I will never eat at this location again. Get your customer service skills together people. It does make a difference.

It has been a little while since Iv been here But I do like it, every meal that I have had was good, their gravy is good and pancakes are good and the way they do there scrambled eggs is good. I think this place is good.

I love the store with all its old time charm and products. It brings back memories of the good old days. I also love the food, particularly the green beans which are cooked the way my mother cooked them and the turnip greens which you just don't find in too many restaurants. Good flavoring in both. Hubby had the pot roast which he said was super tender and very tasty (though he still likes my pot roast best - smart man). I wasn't super happy with either the service or the wait for the food, however. I asked three times for extra napkins, three times (maybe four) for more hot water for my tea. And it took more than 30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. When it did, the server informed Hubby that the fried apples he'd ordered would be another 25 minutes. He decided to order an alternate side dish instead. It was moderately crowded which may account for the several forgotten requests (though I can't imagine how many times you'd have to ask if it was super crowded) and that may have accounted for the slowness of our dinner arriving. But why it would take an extra 25 minutes to get fried apples? Unless they were fresh picked from the tree, that was a mistake on either the server's part or the cook's part. On the plus side, however, the server did bring our bread before the dinner since there seemed to be shortages on it (overheard this from other servers talking to other customers) and she also brought the apples when they were finally ready - at no additional charge. Of course, we were almost ready to leave by then. Yes, we'll go back but maybe try to get in a touch earlier or try a different day of the week, not the weekend.

There's really nothing like Cracker Barrel. I've been to dozens of this chains locations and though the food is always good and the portions plentiful. This one is a bit of a ghetto cracker barrel in that in sometimes has dirty bathrooms (one of the criteria I always look at in an eating establishment) and the service can be a bit iffy during the afternoon shift. I love the Country Boy breakfast which is served all day and includes your choice of grilled or fried catfish, or ham steak, or a juicy charbroiled steak, or grilled porkchops. It is served with biscuts and country gravy, grits, fried apples, and hashbrown cassarole.

Mh, what to say abut this place? Well I LOVE it! it's definitely got that down home country charm and when they actually use the fire place it's so welcoming! True the prices are a bit high, but the food for me has always been great so far. When it comes to their dinners I'm more prone to ordering their chicken n dumplings or their beef stew. For the sides the Mac n cheese, and the apples are great!! With their breakfast I can say, I've enjoyed their pancakes, the french toast, the biscuits and gravy, and even an omelette, which is NOT found on the menu but if you pay extra you can order one.

It was a lot of food to finish, and to top it off they bring out a plate full of their signature biscuits and corn bread. I'm hoping those skillet meals are not a temporary menu special because I'm a fan. The cost was pretty decent too; the skillet prices ranged from $7.99 to $8.99. And as always I gave my leftovers the old reheated next day test, and it was still tasty!
