This restaurant has a breakfast I will drive across town to get. One where you can make additions (at a small price that make it better and better). It is: The Farmer's Omelet (Gyro Meat, Cheese, Peppers and Onions). I have tried a similar type of omelet at many Coneys, and they skimp on the amount, size, and thickness of the meat, but not here. My ultimate breakfast (about $10 bucks because of the extras, the basic is $6 without hash browns): Farmers Omelet, with Feta Cheese, Pita Bread and a side of Gyro Sauce/Tzatsaki with Hash Browns. I was seriously thinking this would be my last meal request if I was on Death Row.... If you get the basic, you can pick from American or Swiss and get regular toast included with the price. It loses one half star because they, along with many Coneys have switched from a quality Jam, like Smuckers, to generic Jelly that lists Corn Syrup as the number one ingredient with no fruit and a little fruit juice..... Over the years, I have tried other things on the menu, and they are fine. The staff is really friendly, and often remember me, even though I am only a semi-regular. Smoking is allowed, and has annoyed my kids when they have come (they say the pancakes are yummy). UPDATE: Last time I went, they had the same jam on the table, but brought two better quality strawberry jams with the toast.....Raise to 5 stars

Called and ordered a take out for salads, and they messed up our orders. The food was flavorless. Ended up taking all the chicken off my salad, didn't want to eat it. Waitress was nice when I picked up the food but I will never go back there to get food again.

I've only been here once. I did see the bad reviews, but I figured I'd play it safe and get a coney. I mean, if you're in a Coney Island you've never tried before at least you can count on the coney being passable. Not really, no. The dog itself was passable. The bun might have been OK, but it was drowned in sauce. And when I say drowned I don't mean a ton of sauce, I mean the sauce was basically the consistency of somewhat chunky water, so the bun got pretty soggy. If you were to take Leo's chili and cut it about half with water it would be like that. Except without any chile flavor to speak of. I also got chili fries, so yeah. It's not really dirty. Maybe a little grungy. Huge menu. I left abruptly because the owner and a customer got into a screaming match, something about poor customer service. I don't know who started it, but the owner seemed to be mostly enjoying himself, so I think I'll pass on this one from now on.

This is one of the worst places I have ever eaten. All I got was cheese fries and I found myself throwing it all up a half hour later. My friend got chili and felt like he was going to die. The only reason it gets two stars is because the wait staff is very kind.
