Burgers are not bad here. I would go with their slider burgers, personal favorite. Chili burgers are awesome too. Not a fan of their french fries.

Here are the positives of this place: -We showed up 30 minutes before close, and still received prompt and friendly service, so that is a plus! -They have some pretty good breakfast deals on the menu, and who would have guessed that "Hamburger Hut" served breakfast? - Their burgers are HUGE. Here are the negatives: -Unmemorable burgers -onion rings did not live up to their reputation In their defense, we were there late.... oh well.

Service is excellent at Hamburger Hut and the decorations are very nice looking. The burgers are nothing crazy to write home about, I wouldnt say there good or bad, there just ok. I also ordered the chili and you could tell it was canned chili and not fresh made. Overall the place is ok, prices are very reasonable. I'd go back for the service and the prices.

They definitely get a 5 star for service and ambiance! Our waitress was very nice and patient, as it took us forever to decide on what we were going to order. Love the throw back to the 80's/70's. Definitely a mom/pop diner. Unfortunately, I can't rave about the food. I'm been to diner's where the food is made from scratch and I feel like I'm sitting back in mom's/grandmas' kitchen. This had the ambiance of a diner, but the food was too bland for a place that has such great personality. I will go back, as I would like to try some of the made to order things. My hope is that there are things that are made from scratch and not just GFS quality. My husband's two sliders were dry and flavorless. We all agreed that the fries were blah. We also ordered cheese sticks...blah. The ranch dipping sauce was good.We LOVED the toasted buns. I liked that the lettuce was shredded and added to the burger. All of the food was served quickly, with a smile and piping hot. I had a 1/4 pounder and although it was juicy, it was seriously lacking in flavor. They had a steady stream of business and the prices were appropriate for the quality. like I said, I will go back again and order the soup (which a sign said it was homemade).

Fight the fast food blight - support the independent! Stop in just for the decor. Nice coney dog, but not sure why I paid $1 more than the special. Wish they didn't use that liquid cheese - be warned. But it is small, cosy, friendly, good vibes. Want to go back to try some other stuff, and be hungrier.

Good place to get a Hot dog or burger and fries. The breakfast is good also. Everyone that workers there is friendly. Great neighborhood spot.

This is a cozy little place, definitely a throwback. LP covers and comic books on the walls (that's no way to treat a comic book!). I get the feeling that they have a lot of "regulars", and the 2 times I've been here most of the other customers seem to be hitting the coneys. I had the burger special both times, once with fries and once with rings. Frankly, I wouldn't call the burgers "sliders". They're a little bigger, the buns are toasted, not steamed, and the onions don't seem to be pressed into the meat like a typical slider. Also, not nearly greasy enough. If you're craving a slider fix, drive on by and hit Bates or Greenes, both fairly close by. While the meat was obviously fresh, it was also a little dry and doesn't have a ton of flavor. Don't get me wrong, it's a perfectly acceptable burger, but it didn't hit the spot like a true slider. Next time I might go for a larger burger. Fries are OK, nothing special. The onion rings are...different. The batter isn't really crispy like most onion rings, and they seem to be a little light on the salt. Overall they're a little "chewy", but the flavor is fine, and the slices are big and meaty. Like I said, different. So all-in-all, a decent little place that I will return to. But not for sliders.

Food was not that good, service was bad. The waitress had my order wrong trying to say the menu was wrong but managed to bring out the correct order, also received dirty silverware that had dried food on it

This place is a neat little gem, situated on busy Grand River right near a McDonald's, that you might miss if you are not careful. Ok my favorite thing here is the "Hut Special", which is basically 2 sliders that are bigger than the standard slider that you would get at Bates or Greens. Also with the special you get fries and a refillable drink...all for about $4.50! They also have a great half pounder burger made with Angus that is sort of a really big versions of the slider (taste wise) for about $3.50, add fries for about a buck-50. I have also tasted the onion rings, and they are pretty good too. The ice cream and milk shakes are really tasty too, they use Saunders fudge for their sundays, mmmm! I think between the service and food quality, you get a great combo that will please many. I have eaten here often, and will be back again!

Wanted to find a new place to have a good, cheap burger and not a chain restaurant. Found this tiny gem on Yelp*. A good burger in a nice relaxing, homey diner setting. Everyone of the staff was friendly and Tammy took her time in explaining all the specials and welcoming us to the restaurant. Our order came in a short time and everything was hot and yummy. It's not a huge burger like Nassau or a Miller's burger, but it was very good. The bun is toasted and the raw onion is very mild, not overpowering at all! Also, ordered the chicken pot pie soup...guess what it tasted exactly like it's name. The best part is the value for the quality. We will definitely be back.

Must be a locals place with some really good food!! Four of us walked in and were so happy we found this place while in the Detroit suburbs. Greasy 1lb burgers are truly a "big deal." Gotta try the onion rings!! The wait staff worked fast when the full lunch crowd bum rushed the place on a Sunday. Can't wait to go back. Alotta eye candy in this place!
