So happy to find this delicious bakery in Petoskey / Harbor Springs! A friend brought a loaf of Pepper Parmesan bread to a dinner party. It was fabulous! So fabulous, in fact, that we drove there the next day to see what other delicious things we could try. We decided to buy scones for breakfast the next morning - we tried cheddar scallion (based on yelp reviews) and mixed berry. The cheddar scallion were super yummy - although they were more like a biscuit to me, nice and moist and buttery and delightful. We will definitely be back on our next trip up north to try more delicious treats and without a doubt I will be picking up another loaf of Pepper Parmesan!

The bread is amazing especially the Parmesan Pepper! The green onion and cheddar scones and lavender cookies are also fabulous...I don't think you'll be disappointed with any choice. Too bad there's a lot of attitude coming from the older lady with short hair behind the counter.

I want to give 5 stars, but I think that would be kind of unfair. I have never been to Crooked Tree, but I have eaten POUNDS of their Addictive Granola. Honestly, it is the best snack in the Universe. Seriously. I have to get it online, but it is so worth it. Local cherries, honey, and maple syrup. Yuuuummmm. Some day, I'll make it to the actual bakery, and then I hope to bestow 5 stars. Until then, I'll be in the corner with my face in a tub of granola.

Their cheddar scallion scones are one of the highlights of any trip to the area -- they are FANTASTIC. White chocolate cherry are also great.

Pepper Parmesan bread is to DIE for!!! I could eat a whole loaf of this myself. I would go here again & get a loaf of bread & a cup of homemade soup from the deli next door & have soup & bread!

Every year I struggle with figuring out how many loaves of bread I can realistically stuff in my carryon bag ... pecan cherry sourdough bread, dense and rich pepper parmesan bread, addictive granola, scones, the most amazing molasses cookies I've ever eaten ... I'm a fan. Hmmm ... maybe I can get it all sent to me FedEX!

High quality breads and baked goods. Only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is that they sell out of my favorites (pepper parmesan rolls and mixed biscotti bags) often. Go early or pre-order if you really need something to take to a dinner, etc.
