I'm in the same boat as many others - was really impressed by the friendly staff and clean bathrooms when making a Chicago-Detroit pit stop. Everyone here was terrific and the food was good as well. The fried stuff is always good, but the Market Fresh Arby's sandwiches can be top notch from time to time and they definitely were here.
Wow...Sarah and employees were really nice here. The restroom was clean. They did a good job with my beef n Cheddar.
I don't know if all Arby's have a giant bell that you can ring right before you leave to show your appreciation for their good work, but this one does and I always found it quite fun to ring it and subsequently cause all the employees to yell out some recited sing song line about being glad that you are glad, lol. They always sounded so worn out by having to recite it a million times a day. Guess I'm kind of sadistic in that way.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE! My boyfriend and I were driving back from a weekend trip and were looking for a place to eat lunch. This place had great reviews and did not disappoint. The food was great, but the service was truly exceptional. The waitress greeted us and everything was brought to our table promptly. The best part was the involvement and dedication of the owner, who walked around talking to customers asking how their experience was and making sure everything was satisfactory. I had a Chicago dog and fried pickles, and he had Red's Ripper with tater tots. The tots we're crispy and fluffy and fresh of the fryer as were the well seasoned fried pickles. The all beef hot dogs were flavorful and juicy and very filling. Red's homemade root beer was pretty good with lots of vanilla flavor, and a mild sweetness, though not a lot of carbonation. It was served in frosted glass mugs and Red's offers free refills, even on the homemade root beer so my boyfriend was able to take one for the road. Overall, the place has a lovely old fashioned feel to it and the people are friendly and welcoming. If we .re ever in town again we will definitely be back.
Great little place. 50's tunes blasting, friendly owner circulating, tasty burgers and dogs and the best root beer I've ever tasted. A must stop whenever we're traveling 94.
Love Red's! This is a great locally owned business. You will not be disappointed. My son especially loves to go. We went the last day of school and Red gave a ice cream cone for being a good boy! Great place, with great people.

Lucky find on a road trip with family! I wish this place were a lot closer to my house! It's like having breakfast at your moms. You're comfortable the second you walk in. The ladies running everything we're super friendly. Several of us had the house made corned beef hash with two eggs, hash browns and toast which was perfect. They have an old diner counter with stools and cook everything right there behind the counter. Also, I never the bottom of my coffee cup. Highly recommended. Thank you Teapot Dome!
Really good food. Really good service. Ambience--meh. But it's made up for by the fresh homemade breakfasts and pastries. Mmmmm. And friendly staff. Real close to the flea market if you're in town. I'd recommend stopping in for breakfast.
Stopped last week for lunch after reading reviews here. Like most said - nice, friendly little diner. My wife and I each had different varieties of burgers. Both were very tasty and well prepared. She had fries and said they tasted fresh cut. I don't do fries, so I opted for macaroni salad. Very bland and commercial. 'Probably' from GFS. I'm sure we will be stopping again. Staff very friendly!

Best Chicken hands down for fast casual. Love the fish too. Nice owners and staff. Eat here often.
Best chicken strips you'll have! Lightly breaded and always juicy. Their lunch specials are reasonably priced. Great food at a great place. I wish there were more of these? I only get to eat here on my lunch breaks!
I always visit the Chicken Coop when I visit my sister in Matawan. I really like their battered fish. The two piece dinner is a LOT of food, quantity-wise. I am also fond of their clams and the cole slaw. Next visit I plan to try the fried chicken. We always get a little of everything and put it all out and try them all. We were impressed that they had fried okra (one of my gal's favorites.) You order and pay at the counter and when your meal is ready they bring it out to your table. During your meal they check and see if you need anything. This nice little non-chain restaurant does a good job. The staff is always friendly and heplful.

Best Mexican Restaurant I know in the area including the cities of Kalamazoo and Battle Creek. Stop by almost every week. Lunch specials are only $5.99. Chips and salsa are amazing too.
This was just okay. The flauta a were over cooked, but the tacos were good. If you do go here order a large pico de gallo with avocado and jalapeño. This was by far the best aspect of the meal.
Stopped by while traveling due to Yelp rating. Employees were friendly and service was great. Chips were stale. There was an extra charge for everything (e.g. Pico de Gallo, etc.). Choriqueso was primarily a bean dip, not much meat or cheese could be found. Couldn't taste much more than the tomatoes in the salsa. Fajitas were decent, but not enough to bring me back. Would not recommend.

We stopped here on a Sunday night and were the only ones in the place. We had great, friendly service. There wasn't much of a wine list but had plenty of beers on tap. We son had fettucini alfredo and I had lasagna. Both were GREAT. My husband had the pizza and thought it lacked cheese. The decor is very comfortable. There are some tv's to watch and a bar. Most of all, our food was VERY inexpensive. The lasagna was just $7.99! Great meal. Will stop here again when we're in the area.
It's good pizza. Not much more to say than that. Slower than normal service, but nothing horrible.
Happened upon this restaurant by chance- driving through from out of state and first time in town. What a find!! Clean, friendly, fun atmosphere. $7.00 pitcher of beer w frosted ice cold glasses- classy. Franco , owner , personally checked on our table a couple times and sent complimentary delicious authentic homemade cannoli for dessert. Server, Sierra, was really good-attentive and very sweet. The thin crust deluxe pizza was cooked perfectly and loaded with ingredients. Franco escorted us out, opened door for us and thanked us for coming. Again, this is a classy place at affordable prices with great food and service. We will be back

Best Bar in Paw Paw! low-key and fun atmosphere - friendly employees -great comfort food - newly-renovated - enjoyed the Jukebox and Keno - looking forward to Bike Night and live music in September!
The reviews for this place had me a little worried. But due to the fact it was close to home and it was a very snowy night I decided to brave it anyway. Was not disappointed. My server was an amazing waiter. He was attentive, told me about specials, and was exceptionally friendly. I ordered the 8 ounce sirloin which was a nice cut of meat and it was cooked perfectly. My husband got the ribs and they were equally good. The only problem was the food took a while. Considering the restaurant was almost empty due to a blizzard I'd be concerned going there if it was packed... Can't imagine how slow the food would be then. It's worth the risk and I'll be back.
Extremely poor service from the manager to the wait staff. It took 40 minutes to receive our food. We never did receive our appetizers. When our food finally did come it was cold. The cheese on the nacho dish my friend ordered was hard it was so cold. The steak we ordered medium rare was rare and cold. When we brought this to the attention of the manager his response was the steak was warm enough. He did bring us out a new baked potato. How hard is it to put a steak back on and cook it a little more?

Ive been going here for years, have had many of the very well done pasta's, ribs are very good too. On one of my first few visits i saw a pizza go bye our table, looked like a meatball under cheese on each slice. I asked the server, she said no its sausage. I had it the next time i visited, oh my. Excellent, i can not not order it. I had it this evening out on the patio with a morretti beer and gorganzola salad. What can i say i am hooked. My wife likes the pollo davinci, she thought the sauce on the lasagna was a tad sweet. If your near Paw Paw enjoy La Cantina Hopefully i will be there too!
Only ate here once and it was probably four years ago. The food was very good for small town Italian. Enjoyed the view overlooking the dam.
Probably the most high end you can get in Paw Paw. Great food, good service, just wish the atmosphere was a little more private.

My favorite place to eat! Their food is excellent! Best egg rolls we've ever had. Sweet and sour pork I would give a ten out of ten, the batter is crispy and sauce is perfect. Beef Lo Mein and Hung Su Chicken is out of this world. the portions they give in their combination dinners are more than enough. They always give you a fortune cookie with each order. They also sell chopsticks for eating with. You will love their Chinese tea. I highly recommend their restaurant!
This was the worse Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. First, they were exceptionally understaffed and couldn't effectively handle the customers. Not only was the service slow but they weren't very personable. I ordered the dinner for one. The egg flower soup tasted like warm vegetable oil. The egg roll was greasy. The sweet and sour pork was greasy. The chicken chow mein...not sure what to say about it. Resembled prison slop. Tasted horrible. Absolutely no Asian flavors. The restaurant was dated and not exceptionally clean. Just a horrible experience. Worse restaurant ever! 1 star for the hot tea, which was nice.
First of all, the lo mein should be added to the list of the most addictive substances. The hot and sour soup is the best, and made to order vegetarian style for me. Lots of great options for food allergies and special requests. and they are always willing to add or subtract as needed, due to the fact that it is made fresh to order. I always take family and friends visiting from out of town here and they never leave hungry or disappointed. The dinners seem pricey but you can easily split one between 2 people or more with some amazing crab rangoon's. As a small family ran business they take pride in the food they serve and it shows. They do get busy on some nights, but the food is worth the wait.
