I do not get why Panera is always crowded, I really don't. I was really trying to go to a MUCH better sandwich/salad/soup place in the same complex, to write a great review for them, but it effing closed!!! It blew anything Panera had to offer out of the water...and if people would have clearly given this other place a chance instead of going to stupid Panera, one of my fav. lunch spots would still be here....grrrrrrr..... What is Panera good for? BREAD and BAKED goods...nothing else. I had to go in because I was already taking a late lunch as it was and was already in the parking lot...I hate this Panera because it's always PACKED no matter what time of day and you end up with soccer moms and weirdo people all around you. It is so overpriced for what you get lunch food wise, it makes me sick, it's like designed for people with too much money to blow that don't know good food. 5 dollars for the smallest bowl of soup ever? WTF? They had a new mushroom soup and I asked the lady if it was broth based and she said it was...guess what??? It was basically a mushroom marsala sauce in a bowl...sweet...accompanied by the smalled most basic salad ever. Althou I did get a piece of delicious french baguette with it...again because this place is only good for BREAD. Would I go back to Panera? Sure, for just bread and cookies and crap it's fantastic...this review is for their crappy lunch options on a menu that I swear has shrunk since the last time I was in...this time will probably also be the last.

Very clean and probably the fastest Panera I have ever been to. If you have never tried their toffee cookie then you have been missing out my friend. It's amazing. I always get a frontega chicken sandwich and my daughter gets good old PB&J. Yummy!

Really good food. It was my first time here and it made a good impression. The guy who waited on us was really nice. It was lunch time when we ate, so it REALLY busy. It got a little crowded waiting for the food. They take your name at the register and then you go to the end and wait til they call your name. Broccoli cheese soup is to die for. I'd def. go again.

I always enjoy the smell of fresh bread as soon as I walk in the door. The simlicity of a great sandwich on fresh bread, with fresh lunchmeat, and a side of soup always hits the spot. I also appreciate the free wifi as well. Only drawback is that it's usually busy and there's a bit of a wait...a good problem for any business to have!

On the way home from daily activities and both my sis-in-law and I had a serious craving for a Bear Claw. If you've never had one before, they are a "claw" shaped flat sweet dough nutty pastry that Panera sells and I am sure other places sell. They are about $2.30 each but so delicious. Novi Rd was messed up due to construction so I had to do a detour to get over to Panera. Its tucked on the end of a little strip mall on the SW corner of Grand River Ave & Novi Rd, only a hop skip and jump south of I-96. Like another poster remarked... I can't fathom how come Panera is so busy. But I am starting to find out why. I routinely stop at the Panera in Farmington Hills on 12mile Rd on the way to work. Normally I stop for a quick Breakfast and sometimes buy a Souffle or a signature bagel - the Asiago Cheese bagel is my choice. My wife loves the Souffle's and turned me onto them for cheap bfast option... I've tried the Spinach & Bacon and Turkey Sausage & Potato. She likes the Spinache & Artichoke. Anywho, We are at the Novi Panera. Its my Bday month and I received an email for my Panera card that I had a freebie. I checked in and lucked out I was able to get 2 free pastries. I bought a Bear Claw for my sis-in-law and got 2 more for free as part of MyPanera card. No visit to Panera is complete without a something to drink. My all time favorite is the Green Tea. I order a hot Green Tea and doctor it up myself. A few weeks back my wife let me sample one of her Panera lunch sandwhiches... it was some sort of BLT on red bread... I found out it was the Turkey Bravo on Tomato Basil bread. WoW it was tasty. And I had to order a Half to eat for later. Still it was very busy in there. Its always busy at every Panera. I guess thats a good sign. They are doing something right.

What is not to love about Panera? Homemade soups, yummy breads and bagels, comfort all over the place! I took my two boys here recently for dinner and it was not crowded at all. The food was up quickly and the service at the counter was fast and friendly. I ordered a soy latte to go and it was perfection. I love love love Panera!

lentil-quinoa bowl. very good here, the kale was super green and fresh tasting, the portion seemed generous, and the spice was just right. i really love this dish. they forgot to ask bread/apple/chips so i ended up with a baguette. told the guy i was gluten free and wanted chips. he gave me the option, baked or kettle. i chose baked, thinking they'd be healthier, but they were essentially pringles and not only did they have forty-seven ingredients, they tasted like yesterday's paper. i took them back and he handed me a bag of kettle chips with a smile, no questions asked. super service.

The service at this location and most Paneras are very inconsistent. They don't seem to mind that people wait a long time. The food is good, portions are small! Today, went for the discounted Baker's dozen special. It is a great deal, but only a great deal if they still have bagels. I don't think it is unreasonable to think that, at 10am, there would still be a variety of bagels to choose from. Not the case! Poor planning or apathy for the customers needs. More often than not, I leave Panera disgusted.

Catering pick-ups are a little disjointed but the food was good. Come a little early to make sure they have time to set you up since they get a little mobbed at lunchtime. Parking is cramped on that side of the building but it's a convenient spot for a Panera.

I'm here now enjoying a bagel. Not that crowded, even for a Sunday night, and pleasantly warm here too. It would have received 5/5 stars from me except the bathroom was a bit messy, and also really cold. On a side note, didn't bagels used to be cheaper at Panera? A "signature" chocolate chip bagel is now $1.34. I got a salt bagel the other day and I believe it was $1.10.

As Paneras go this location is average. The food quality is good, but the service is inconsistent and usually aloof and slow. I always find that odd as other area Panera locations aren't like that. Stopping in once again today, 6/19 was no exception.

Very average in the world of Panera. Service is slow and this one is not always clean.

I love Panera Bread Broccoli cheddar soup. On a cold winter day their is nothing like it. If you really want to splurge try their cheddar and bread soup bowl. They have a lot of good food but this is just one of my favorite.

Love the food selection. It's a little pricey for the type of food they serve, but worth it. Employees are polite, but some advice, please until someone walks up to the counter, please dont yell as a Customer is walking in the door.."Can I take your order"? Sheesh
