Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Got the BBQ Chicken Pizza, would definitely remove the red onion and banana peppers. Also the BBQ drizzle was sour which is the opposite of what should be on a pizza. BBQ sauce should be sweet and smoky. My friend got the White Top which didn't sound appetizing on the menu, but in person it was very good. Also the serve Blood Orange Lemonade which was amazing and I can't wait to go back, just for that.

Well that was delicious. Pizza was ready in about three minutes with all of my favorite toppings (black olives, mushrooms, pepperoni and spinach). It was chewy and perfectly crispy at the same time. Staff was super-friendly and happily explained the process to a newbie. I will be back when I want a treat! Super yummy!

The girls are rude when I asked him where do I order because it was my first time they looked at each other and rolled their eyes and started laughing and said over here in a awkward voice also anytime I asked for extra anything they would smirk and give me a weird look childish huh.

Please pizza is one of those places that you can go to that is fast like fast food but healthier then your average little Caesars. For the crust you choose either regular or gluten-free both are thin crust and delicious !! The price is great for seven dollars and some change you can get a full pizza for yourself or to share with someone if you're not too hungry. You can build your own pizza or you can select one of the signature pizzas that they have available one of my personal favorite is the red vine.. I love the fresh mozzarella and basil and olive oil!! If you're going to build your own I would definitely recommend the spicy red sauce or the white sauce and roasted garlic as one of your toppings!! Did I mention that there is no limit on the toppings you can get as many as you want on your pizza. They cook it in a brick oven for about five minutes and boom done! This is definitely a go to place in Novi or any other location that offers blaze pizza! If you save room for dessert make sure you get a Smore, you won't regret it!!

Blaze, where have you been all my life? I love you! I love pizza and especially thin crust!! It's like subway but fresh oven fired pizza style with great ingredients, ultra friendly service all for an awesome price! Try the white pizza and drizzle of olive oil or BBQ sauce at the end. $6.95 for a make your own with unlimited toppings or one of their signature pizzas. $5.95 for 1 topping. In a hurry? Don't worry, it comes out in about 2 min piping hot and crispy! Yummmmm!

This is how build your own, "fast food" pizza should be done. Fresh, premium ingredients. Very good price for what you get. And fast! I made my own creation: red sauce, fresh mozzarella (yes, I said fresh, like pulled off a ball) and fresh (not dried) basil. Thin, crispy yet chewy crust. Just delicious. Oh, and I tried their blood orange lemonade. Yum! Ken also made his own: spicy red sauce (that actually is spicy), sausage and green olives. Also delicious. Pizza was too large for me to finish alone but Ken polished his off.

Delicious delicious pizza. Fresh crispy dough melty and stretchy vegan cheese. Fired by flame as you watch. Love this place so much I would recommend others try this place out!!!!!

This was a FANTASTIC place to eat lunch. My grandmother and I came here for a quick birthday lunch and the service could not have been better. My pizza was amazing! We had a great experience. Roasted garlic and zucchini are the way to go!! It was fast, family friendly, and delicious!! I will definitely be coming back!!! My brother who is abhorrently picky was able to pick and choose and was absolutely happy!! Thanks Blaze for a phenomenal pizza experience!!!

My husband would give it 4 stars, I am just a 3 star for this place. Since I am rounding up, I went with 4 here. When you walk in the door you go down a line like you were at Subway. The crust is 11" thin crust and you can get gluten-free (it's pressed out by a machine right there on the line, so it is thin). You have the option to build your own with as many toppings as you would like for one price OR you can try one of their signatures. I tried one of their signatures the Green Stripe (not many to chose from) and my husband built his own. Cool part is you can add toppings to their signatures at no additional fee. I also got the goat cheese and beet salad, and hubby got the Caesar. The pizza took all of 4 minutes maybe to cook, and it came out hot. Actually, the pans are really warm when you pick them up and you have to take them back to your table. Maybe something to hold them with would be nice unless you are used to serving hot plates. The salads were both good and the dressing on the beet salad was really tasty! The crust is really crispy too. To me, it reminds me of the St. Louis cracker-thin pizza I have had in the past, and that is not my favorite. My husband loves this style, hence the difference in our ratings breakdown. Overall, I am sure we are going to go back since he loved the place. I will definitely get that salad again. The blood orange lemonade was a nice treat also.

O.M.G!! Soooo good, and soooo jealous I live in the suburbs of Chicago because if I lived here I would come almost everyday. Had BYO, white cream sauce, that large chunks of mozzarella (lanovini?), artichoke, spinach, grilled onions, chopped garlic, zucchini, pepperoni, cherry tomatoes, salami, banana peppers, drizzle of pesto and olive oil, and arugula. Sooooo delicious, super obsessed now. Crust is super thin which I really like. Run don't walk!

I'm not a Huge pizza person, however I thought would try this place. It's close to my job and next to Qdoba which I visit often. I visited durning afternoon rush. The line moved along fairly quickly. The staff was quick and pleasant. If there was a stall in line it was do to the person trying decide on the toppings. Everything looked fresh, the dough is made right there, all ingredients are displayed in front and the servers where gloves as they prepare your pizza. I had the Red Vine special, 6.95. I added chicken and sausage at no additional charge. I was sold at that point!! As I walked over to grab my lemonade and got back, my pizza was done! Let me say, I ate it so fast I couldn't even take a picture..lol I am sold on Blaze pizza. The toppings, sauce and thin crust is a MUST!!

This visit was terrible, I had the worst service from Raven and the manager could see how upset I was by Ravens rude behavior and attitude towards me, but did nothing. I am Lactose intolerant and Raven made it perfectly clear that she did not want to help me create my dairy free pizza!!!! Poor service can be the death of a restaurant, and with so many restaurants to choose from, there is a lot of competition, service is important as the food.... I would lose my job if I ever treated a guest or client in that manner, she should not be in a job where she deals with people

I heard a lot of buzz about this place, and decided to check it out with some co-workers on a Friday lunch hour. The dining room is reminiscent of a typical fast food joint, but tastefully modern and open. It was well staffed behind the counter, and they moved people through quickly. The menu is simple with a few specialty pizza and a comprehensive "build your own" menu. The pizza was excellent, fast fired or not. The crust is crunchy and flavorful, the perfect thickness. The sauce had great flavor, and the toppings are very fresh. They have a huge selection of toppings, sauces, etc. The pizzas may come out fast, but I would not classify this as fast food by any means. The quality is great. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable and the size of the pizza is perfect for lunch. I'm looking forward to going back and trying a different pie!

Excellent pizza. Just think about being at a Subway and getting all the toppings you want. It's all at your disposal. I really enjoyed how patient the staff is with your request and the customer service is excellent. If you're looking for a thin crust pizza with fresh toppings this is the place to go.

  • Rachel M.

This place deserves 6 stars! The "build your own pizza" thing is great, and $6.95 is very reasonable for an 11-inch thin-crust pizza. The workers are very helpful describing how to make the pizza and give pointers. The only advice I have is to go during off hours. We got there right around 11 and it was empty, but by 12, the line was pretty long. The line moves fast and they definitely have a system, but I'm glad I didn't have to wait. There's definitely only one demographic that goes there-30 year old men. I think I was the only female in the building (besides the workers). Regardless, it was very good, and the gourmet toppings are great - goat cheese, artichokes, kalamata olives, etc.

Decent for Build Your Own Pizza Pie. Would prefer other food options like bread. The staff is okay, some look like they want to quit while others are joyous and happy. The place could use a little better cleaning and shine up. The process of building is good, I'd like to see more options. Domino's seems to have quite a bit more. I'd like to see steak and cheddar added, maybe some other types of sausage mmmm. Overall it's a nice concept. However the interior does look a lot like a Chipotle, Qdoba, or nice Subway.. Doesn't feel so individualized as their pies. I'll Be Back.

From my experience this place is great for a quick meal! Really good customer service AND pizza.i it's like the subway for pizza. You pick your toppings from the tubs and they oven bake it deliciously!!! Yum, will work for pizza.

  • Ryan V.

Bad experience at this place. Ordered online and when I arrived they hadn't even made the pizza yet. Then for some reason it still took them another 15 minutes just to make the pizza, and then put it in the oven. Meanwhile several walk in customers got served. I got a gluten free pizza with basically all the vegetable toppings. They put basically 2 pieces of each option on the pizza - clear cost cutting. This is also a very average BYO pizza place. They have these all over the country and the ones I had been to elsewhere were much better managed and had more options. The only reason I didn't give them one star is because the manager/owner gave me a free pizza card to come back because I had to wait.

  • Brian H.

Blaze really exceeded our expectations. It's like Chipotle for pizza - I say Chipotle and not Qdoba because they're focused on doing 1 thing really well. Pizza. Build your own with no extra charge for toppings - how can you not love it? Things heard over dinner: "The spicy sauce is actually spicy." -Wife "It's a great idea. It just needs plates. " -Me "It's a perfect sized pizza" -Someone walking by "Pizza" -1yo Daughter I expect this place to get so crowded that I won't want come anymore. Hopefully there will be more of these nearby soon!

I come here often w coworkers for lunch. Fast, easy, fresh ingredients and great value. Not only are the pizzas delicious, but their salads are really good too. Hope they open more in other locations.

  • Kellie H.

The pizza is really good! I ordered a pizza and a salad- both great. Prices can't be beat. My only complaint is the online ordering system. I placed an online order that forced me to wait 35 minutes for pick up, which was fine because it typically takes longer anywhere else. But when we went to pick it up, we still had to wait because they hadn't yet prepared the pizza. Kind of defeats the purpose of ordering online and waiting an extra 35 minutes, when you still have to wait for it to be made upon arrival.

Make your own pizza, Subway style. As long as you're not opposed to thin crust, this place is great! You get to choose between different types of sauces, cheese, meats, and vegetables (and it's unlimited!). I really appreciated the variety in vegetables - they had all three types of olives, both sundried and grape tomatoes, artichoke hearts, banana peppers, to name a few. The staff is more than willing to help you out (it was my first time), and they were willing to put different toppings on different halves of the pizza. For now, I'll give five stars.

We first cam here 3 weeks ago on a whim and now we're hooked. Eat here twice a week. Pizza's are made to your specifications with fresh ingredients and fire baked in 8-10 minutes. Crust is thin and crunchy and fairly inexpensive. They also serve fresh lemonade. It's like the "Chipolte" place for pizza. Highly recommend!!!

  • Allan D.

Im not a huge fan of Pizza Hut, Dominos and co, so I like to try pizza joints with less of a brand name. Blaze did not disappoint. They have a very interesting style where you can put whatever toppings you choose (and as much as you want). I highly recommend it. The parking can suck and the lines can be long for lunch and on Friday nights but it's worth it.

I bought 3 pizzas last Friday. I realized that I left without one when I got home. The next day I went to buy two more, yes they are that good! One associate, Kianna, saw me in line and said, "You forgot a pizza yesterday, didn't you?" I was in shocked that she remembered me. She gave me a coupon for a free pizza and that made my day. Great food and great customer service!

The pizza is delicious..Thin crust! build your own pizza...as much topping as you want for one price..

  • Heather N.

First off, the pizza is delicious. It is that great thin crust, brick oven pizza that I love and it is consistently good. What I really want to praise is the customer service. I visited them only to realize when I went to pay that I had forgotten my wallet. I had a little bit of change in my pocket, but nothing else. When I informed the young man making my pizza that I was sorry but had to leave due to not having my wallet, he excused himself to the back only to return with cash in his hand. He said he would pay for my pizza himself. Obviously I would not let him do that, but the gesture was a true testament to the character this young man had. I explained my situation to the manager who was equally kind. So, if you want some awesome brick oven pizza made by some world class employees, this is the place.

Fast personalized pizza NY style. Very good! I like customizing everything and their spicy sauce is really fabulous. You go through the line to order and go find a seat. They call your name when pizza is done. We first went to the Royal Oak location but was so excited to see the Novi location opened up so had to come by. Same great taste. Friendly staff.

Fun place to eat and very clean restaurant. The food is always good. I ordered a Build Your Own pizza. This is not my first time at Blaze (I have been to this location and the Royal Oak restaurant). The first couple of times I added all sorts of toppings. I have refined my pizza to include more selective items, and because of this, the pizza was perfect. The manager, Raven, is wonderful, and goes out of her way to provide excellent customer service. Will be back soon.

Tried Blaze based on a number of favorable Yelp reviews. We arrived about 6pm on Sunday night, 4/27. Decor was simple and industrial, reminiscent of Chipotle. Plenty of seating. Dining room was starting to show signs of neglect...empty napkin dispensers, empty lemonade dispenser, missing (?) tea dispenser (it was on the menu but nowhere to be found). No adult beverages available. 8^( Must have caught them in a rush. Line was growing, service was slow and quite lackluster. No smiles, nobody looked happy to be there. Ingredients were getting thrown around. Pizza assembly area was getting quite dirty. A look around the kitchen showed dirty dishes piling up all over. Pizzas were assembled with desired ingredients after a couple of corrections. Reached front of register. Caesar salads out of stock. Waited nearly 5 minutes for a cashier. Saw assembled pizzas piling up on counters, as oven was full. Our pizzas came out before I had a chance to pay. Wife and kids took them to table while I waited. Finally allowed to pay and asked/paid for a side caesar salad. Waited some more for the salad. Decided to grab drink and have a hot slice then check back. Checked for salad after another 5 minutes. Told "he's working on it." Asked if he knew a customer was waiting for it. Cashier went back to retrieve a hastily assembled salad. In the end, pizza was decent, service was very bad. In the future, we'll spend the extra $10 at Amici's in Berkley, enjoying an adult beverage as well.

The first 2 times I loved it! I spread the word...however, the last 2 times it was filthy (toppings mixed in other areas, prep area nasty, tables dirty and the floor hadn't been swept). The first time I thought I caught them after a busy crowd, but the second time said to me it's going down fast. Last but not least, the employees were chatting back and forth (not interested in taking orders) and to top it off, conversation over my pizza says you could be transferring saliva on it! Not cool! Needless to say, I'm highly unlikely to visit again. Two times, same problem is too many!

  • Ryan B.

Great pizza. They have a wide variety of toppings. The meats look pretty processed like with most pizza places. I don't feel weighed down after eating a lot here. The staff is friendly and efficient at this location. I wish they would improve the workflow where the pizzas come out of the oven. I've seen them drop two pizzas on the floor out of the three times I've been here. This just increases the time everybody else has to wait.

  • Ben H.

There's certainly a great deal of potential here, from the neo-industrial decor, indie/college rock music & the promise of thin crust pizza made-to-order in 3 minutes. You can go with one of their special pizzas or create your own with a variety of sauces, cheeses & toppings. And the blood orange lemonade is a nice touch. But... Even though make your own pizza is fun, the crusts have to be really thin to cook in time. Meaning, if the cook pulls them out even a moment too late, you've got cheesy charcoal. I've had great pizza here & I've had a burnt crispy mess. And the DYI philosophy apparently extends to keeping the place clean, since the tables are often flithy. Finally, my biggest gripe. They serve salads along with the pizza, which is thoughtful. They claim they are made in-house, but they look prepackaged to me. The worst part - no forks. Yes, that's right. They have no forks. I get that pizza is the thing here, but who serves salads without forks? The staff is really hit-or-miss too. The guy who made our pizzas was great, but the woman at the register was rude. She looked bothered & perplexed by a simple utensil request after we paid for a salad. Pizza guy actually went to the restaurant next door to grab us one after watching my daughter try to eat her Caesar with her hands. Nice, but you should have had some to begin with. This place has such potential, but until they start living up to it, 2 stars.

  • Randy A.

Great pizza just the way you want it. They build your pizza any way you want and right in front of you. I had extra sauce, extra mozzarella cheese, extra chicken, spinach, tomato, mushrooms, green peppers, olives, garlic, and oregano on my first one. The price was reasonable and it cooked up so fast that I decided to have another one made, this time with artichokes. The flavor reflected quality ingredients and preparation. I'm going to be a regular here.

    (5)
  • Suresh K.

My pizza was served burnt (see picture). I showed it to the server and she was nice enough to get another one prepared. The second one was not only also burnt it was the WRONG pizza. There was a long line at the restaurant and it appears that they were running the oven too hot and burning Pizzas. The ingredients were fresh and sauce was very good. They need a better quality control so that they make perfectly baked pizza all the time and they do not have that now. They make good pizza most of the time but not all the time!

  • Rachel K.

Oh, my. I have been trying to find a thin crust pizza place for years after a local pizza place closed down. This totally hits the spot. Amazing! It's like Subway but for pizza. Try the Art Lovers if you artichoke. Add banana peppers! Mix the blood orange and regular lemonade, too. LOVE THISSSSS PLACE!!!!

  • Matt B.

Great place. We go about once every two weeks for lunch. The pizzas are made with high quality ingredients and have an outstanding taste. I always choose to make my own. The customer service is top notch as they treat you like real guests. They are always asking how your meal is and making a point to assist and make the dining experience more enjoyable. The value, customer service, and quality of the pizza will keep my coworkers and I coming back time and time again.

  • Marco D.

I like the concept of this place quite a lot. Fast and fresh thin crust pizza made to order. And they are the perfect size. As well it seems quite progressive with glutton free and vegan options. When ordering you can either go with a menu item pizza or build a custom pie for a bit extra. I ordered a custom pie which was essentially a veggie pizza with some pepperoni and sausage thrown on. The pizza was great. Fresh with a perfectly cooked crust. I'd easily give it 5 stars however the dining area was absolutely filthy. No tables were wiped down and the floor was littered with food scraps and used napkins. If the manager actually took pride in this place, the experience would have warranted a return visit. Notsomuch .

  • Heaven R.

Absolutely love this place! For roughly $7 you get a small fire grilled pizza with whatever you like on it. (small=5-6 slices) Try the Smore's for dessert if you dine in, very yummy! My brother said the salad was delicious too. I have dined here several times since they opened, each experience has been great. I've had Darrell help me twice now...nice guy, seems to really do out what he does.

I am so happy I looked to Yelp to find a new restaurant to try. My daughter and I loved Blaze. The pizza was so good, service was very friendly and quick. And the restaurant was clean, unlike what some other people have stated. The food was high quality with vegan options.

  • Lisa R.

Need to keep it plain and simple. O-M-G AMAZING. I usually keep it simple with just a plain one topping- red sauce, mozzarella (FRESH) and pepperoni.. cooked just a litttttle bit extra. They always make it perfect for me! Salt, pepper, oregano to top it off and some tabasco YUM. Sometimes I'll get a little crazy and add everything but it is perfect with just one topping. Another plus= SO CHEAP!!! I could eat a Blaze pizza every day if I wanted to!! :) Lucky me I work right next to it! Oh and get the smores after... GET THEM.

    (5)
  • Jenny Z.

This place is awesome. The crust is tasty, sauce is good, and all the toppings have great flavor (italian sausage, fresh moz, veggies, basil, salame, smoked ham). It's all delicious. The only temptation is to put too many toppings on all at once, which overpowers the great subtle flavors of the pizza. I recommend limiting it to 2 meats per pizza so the flavors are well balanced. The staff are very nice although a bit distracted and sprinkles the toppings in a half-assed way, missing half the pie... At one point the guy taking the pizza out of the oven actually asked me if I got a half-and-half because the toppings were placed so unevenly. They asked if I wanted it remade, to which I said no, I can always rearrange myself. Regardless, service has always been very nice, and try their s'more sandwiches - they are delicious! Oh, added bonus, they're open until 11PM!

I've now been to Blaze 4 different times. this review encompasses my 4 visits from 2013 & 2014. the 1st time I heard about them I thought WTH, I can't order a pizza on the phone and pick it up... But when I got there and watched the process I thought... Yeah... I get it now... All 4 times I've been there the service was quick, the prices reasonable, and the food... AMAZING. they seem to do only one thing - Pizza. and they do it Right. I've never sat in there to eat. But one day I will. Every Time I've been there its been in the midday or afternoon. I've never seen it not busy. My favorite is the Build your own. for $6.95, get a pizza made any way you want. If I want extra sauce - they put on extra sauce. At first I thought $7 for a small pizza was expensive. But every visit every pizza I've bought either for both Me & My wife, or just Me, has been EXCELLENT. Once we tried the spicy sauce - Whoa nelly. too spicy. I DO WISH They had a Chunky version of their classic sauce.... I love Tomatoes and I love Saucy Pizza. and I love Blaze... especially cuz they are open 7 days a week 11am to 11pm.

Think fast, lots of variety, endless choices, great location, and delicious and you have Blaze Pizza in Novi, MI. I was skeptical only because there isn't a lot of buzz about this pizza joint but as soon as I walked on I was impressed. Every pizza is individual so each person gets exactly what they want the way they want it. No mistakes. And with the economy the way it is this place is easily affordable and perfect for date night before or after the movies or a quick family meal on the go. The staff was very nice and the place is easy to get into and out of. Plenty of parking. Can't wait to go back.

Love this place!! It's like Q'doba or Chipotle, only pizza instead of burritos...good, thin crust, personal pizzas (11") made just the way you like it!!! If you like spicey foods with a little kick, try the spicey marinara. It doesn't hit right away...but you'll feel it after a slice or 3. :)

  • Tony D.

Heads up Qdoba, you guys are going out of business if you don't learn how to run a fast, delicious, inexpensive lunch spot next door! My colleagues and I were very pleasantly surprised to see this cook to order fast pizza joint open in Novi, as we're very discerning lunch-goers and not many places in this suburban wasteland can offer you an under $10, in and out within 40 mins, AND yummy lunch we haven't gone to before. We've had everything within a 10 min drive of Twelve Oaks for our workday lunches, and boy does this Blaze Pizza deliver! Build-your-own 12" pie for $6.95. done. It's like a subway counter full of toppings, as much as you want to pile on, all for $6.95!!! Hey Qdoba, how much did you want to charge me for a lousy extra morsel of chicken?! And the quality my god, it's Chipotle quality ingredients! The fresh hand pulled ricotta! Oy Before you've paid and filled your drink the damn thing is done! Piping hot out of the oven, the thin crust perfectly crispy. Crush it. But wait, add on an oven melted S'more! Are you kidding me? Forgetaboutit! All for less than $10 bucks! I could come back every day and not tire of the combinations I can make. Add it to the list boys, this is gonna be a regular!

Blaze is great. I am a big pizza fan, and feel comfortable saying it's some of the best pizza around. Workers are very nice and ingredients are always fresh. Wish there were more of these around so I could go more often.

I like the concept. Fast fresh pizza. I ordered the meat lover's pizza they have on there menu. I ordered it was the spicy sauce and it was spicy, lol. The cost is very reasonable for pizza I thought it was going to be on the pricey side. Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars cause I thought the crust was kind of soggy, not firm. I even ordered a pizza to go and heated up the next day and crust was still soggy. Overall I definitely like this place and I will definitely be back..

  • Amanda S.

Love it. The creators of Blaze are going to make bank. They've figured out how to do good-sized pizzas with great high-end toppings for a very fair price. Consider the fact that cooking time is 2-3 minutes and there's no "nickel and dime-ing" because you want to add a topping, and BOOM...cash-ola! There's a $6 option if you just want a single topping pie. This far exceeds the $5 hot and sweaty you were considering earlier, btw. We chose two pizzas-the ART to which I added roasted garlic and goat cheese (so good!) and the LINK IN- that we added pineapple and pepperoni to. Both were fantastic. Staff was friendly, joking and happy to be there. I also pulled a jerky "wait, I'm not done I saw this topping can I add it" move and one of the line guys was totally cool with it adding, "that was a good call. It's gonna be so good now!" For chipotle meets pizza, it's about what you expect but also so much more. Fair. Fast. Consistent. Winner winner, pizza dinner.

Love the art lovers! Will add pictures! Amazing!! The fresh ricotta & red sauce made my pants do a happy dance! Extra toppings Free! What the hell is a happy dance in my pants?

Not the biggest fan of pizza in general but I love Blaze! The thin crust is great and all the ingredients are fresh and right there in front of you for you to chose from. Most people create their own, but they also have a few specialty pizzas you can choose from. It's quick and fresh and you can see what is going into what your eating which I like. It's part of the trend for a fresher "fast food" that has been catching on as of late. Once you choose your toppings your pizza is in the oven for about 3 minutes and you can add on last minute toppings and sauces (arugula, BBQ sauce, pesto...). They also have these s'mores pies that they will heat up in the pizza oven for you for dessert. Bomb. My only complaint is the consistency. I've been 3 times so far and each time they made minor mistakes to my order. The first two times I ordered the specialty pizzas. The first time she made it wrong and the second time I had to remind the guy when he was forgetting some ingredients and in the end he still forgot some. How do you forget the recipe when it's written on the paper the pizza is sitting on?! Today they cut my pizza super uneven. Not a big deal, just annoying. Overall, great concept, great pizza, staff needs to improve their thoroughness.

I'm very, very, very impressed by this place. The options seem endless and I was shocked by that. It was actually fun to create the pizza. Plus, the quality of the food and toppings are outstanding and the taste is completely delicious! Read my reviews. How many times have I been that effusive in my praise? Or for that matter summed it up that quickly! I'll go on for a bit more then lol. I loved that crust and the flavor in all of the toppings. Two types of garlic? Sounds good to me. Gluten free crust and vegan cheese? Yes, needed, thank you for having both even if it does cost more. A variety of sauces? Wow, that spicy sauce is perfect. Plus, good management? Seems like it. They were very comfortable in explaining the process, in helping me to make sure the order was vegan/vegetarian friendly, and in answering my questions. Hopefully the employees are as well trained as the manager. The employees too were very funny and friendly. What else? So much! I loved that you could order online. By the time you were there you could have a pizza ready to eat! I loved that if you didn't preorder it would take maybe 5-10 minutes to get your order. I loved that there were pre-designed pizza choices or that you could custom make one for basically a similar cost. Most of all though, I loved that at first I thought it was expensive, and then (after trying the pizza) I completely changed my mind and thought it was worth it and that it filled me up. I'm happy that this place exists. I know there is another location but I haven't been there yet. Kudos to Blaze in Novi.

I like this concept. A quickly made pizza using fresh ingredients. The only problem was my pizza was under cooked. I'm not sure if that's the style or they just pulled it out early. Next time I'll make sure to ask for it crispy. I got the spicy sauce which was yummy but be careful cause it has some bite. Overall, a good place, and I'll be back.

First time here. Pizza was really good, but watch out! My son had not 1, not 2, but 3 hairs in his pizza! My other son's pizza was BLACK on the bottom.

Yaaaaaaaay! Finally, someone came up with affordable high quality pizza! For a little over 6 bucks for a pizza you can't go wrong. And they have GLUYEN FREE and DAIRY FREE options! Hallelujah!!! The toppings were great and the pizza had a great flavor coming right out of the wood fire oven. The atmosphere is very hip but this is also a very fun family place. My kids loves picking their toppings. And the best part was that everyone there working was so friendly! Excellent customer service and sincere friendliness is hard to find these days. This is like the Trader Joes of pizza places!! So happy they are here!

Awesome pizza! Great service, friendly staff; wonderful topping selection and cool atmosphere! Completely unique idea for pizza! We really enjoyed Our Blaze pizza and will be eating here again!

This is the coolest restaurant ever!!! You can build your own pizza or get a signature pizza for just $6.95! There is also a simple cheese pizza available for $5, and a simple one topping pizza for $5.85. There are so many fresh toppings and ingredients to choose from, including different kinds of pizza sauces, meats, cheeses, veggies.. The crust is amazingly crispy and light- the dough is made from scratch daily. The pizza takes about 2 minutes to fire. They also have gluten free dough and vegan cheese!! It's cheap, fast, and delicious. I agree with the other reviewers- it's like a pizza version of Chipotle.

Great pizza. Plenty of space. I really like the make-your-own pizza style. It's like a chipotle for pizza instead of burritos.

The pizza is by far the best in Michigan, this is how pizza is supposed to taste!!!! Finally somebody understands the basics of pizza! Bravo! Toppings are gourmet and much better quality ingredients. Five stars for taste but a little penalty goes to service... It is fair to say I am a regular, I order 5-6 pizzas to-go every week. I had 5 burned pizzas in the 60plus I have ordered to date, two which I had to refuse to bring home because they were really bad/burned. In both instances the manager was nice and reimbursed me for the inconvenience... Needles to say the heart of the operation is in the oven and I wish more training was available for oven guy as he must keep rotating the pizzas and sweep the chards from the prior batch so you don't get the bitter taste. But again for $5-$6 and the fact that this is not a Michelin star restaurant... How can I not give 5stars? The cheese amount is little depending on who is preparing, but I always ask for a bit more and they do it without a fuss. Jeff the manager is super nice but the rest of the staff may need some self motivation and be more courteous to customers, the cashiers could use some customer service basics too...sometimes I don't get a smile and I feel I am doing them a favor.

This is the third visit to blaze pizza in novi mi. This visit Daryl, Jillian and Ramon and the rest of the crew made our visit a wonderful experience. My wife has dairy allergies and Jillian hand made her pizza off line. Ramon was very patient and made the remaining pizzas for our group of 5 and they all came up ready at the same Time perfectly. Daryl is one of the best managers at a pizza place we have met. He is attentive, enthusiastic and cares about the customers. Thank you!

Great pizza place. For a flat rate you can build the pizza however you want. Takes about 3-5 minutes to finish. Family of 4 able to eat their fill and drink for less than $20. Definitely recommend and come again.

So I ordered the meat lovers 3 meat pizza. Good thin crispy crust, decent sauce, pepperoni made it way too salty. They seem to be a bit skimpy on the toppings like subway and that's why it's not 5 stars. Excellent service and friendly staff who were accommodating with our screaming kids.

  • Deep A.

Went to Blaze Pizzeria today and ordered their Veg and Meat Lovers pizz. The place has decent interiors and enough seating space, but could use a little cleanliness. The staff however is lazy and is just 'doing their job' instead of being interested in actually working here. The non veg toppings were all over the place and were cross contaminating with veggie toppings. Definitely didn't feel appetizing. The blood orange lemonade container was empty and there were no spoons or knives in their respective dispensers, so we settled for a coke instead. Now coming to the food. The pizza crust is thin, well cooked and the veggie pizza tasted well, but the toppings (meatballs and pepperoni) on the meat lovers didn't seem fresh and left a bad taste in our mouth. Not sure if we would ever be going again. There are better places (Tony Saccos etc) in the area.

Love this place. I show up about once a week to build my own pizza. I tweak the large selection of ingredients for each build to get nearer and nearer the PERFECT pizza for me. Easy parking, very friendly staff, clean and a good value. When I'm in Royal Oak I stop in at that store too, for the same reasons.

    (5)
  • Me ..

I get the build your own- I think $6.95? they are generous with the portions when I ask for a lot of a certain item. I don't usually like thin crust, but Blaze is not so thin that its crunchy. Most of the workers are pretty friendly. Very clean place.

    (4)
  • Chris G.

Great place for lunch. Thin crust and build your own makes this the best place for a nice pizza lunch. This is the subway of pizza. I wish there were more locations and when I say more locations I mean, a location downriver.

Great new pizza concept. Great food and service. Staff is very friendly. Have your pizza made the same way you get your sandwich in a sub shop. Pick your sauce and toppings then enjoy!

So good! So so good! It is worth the drive for the gluten free pizza! The staff is always very friendly. When you let them know you need gluten free, they take every precaution and are happy to do so!

I love this pizza! The quality & ingredients are awesome! I'm only giving two stars because I placed my order online today, and it didn't go very well. Not to mention it was lunchtime and there wasn't anywhere to park. When I stood by the sign that said "Online Check-In", a girl told me that I would have to actually go & stand in line at the register (which was backed up with people that were trying to pay for the pizza they just had built). It was just a really bad set up with employees just floating around looking lost. Even the guy boxing up pizza's looked confused. I will not use the online ordering feature since it would have been faster for me to go in, stand in line, pay for my pizza and be on my merry way. Definately try this place - but don't go during peak lunch or dinner time unless you have time to waste.

Fantastic stone-fired pizzas and only five dollars each! I thought of this place as a "Subway" but for pizza. Lots of options for toppings and ways to customize your pizzas.

  • Roman B.

When I come here for lunch with the fellas we get great customer service and a really tasty pizza with as many toppings as I'd like (unlike the boring cardboardish cheese and pepperoni pizza I am forced to get when I order pizza for the kids from those normal carry out places). The pizza is always cooked to perfection and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy. Makes me hungry just thinking about it!

    (5)
  • Nicholas A.

Finally had this the other day and I must say it was better than I expected. I thought the toppings were really fresh and it didn't take long to make! It is definitely something different to get when it comes to pizza and they have many options! I would recommend giving it a shot!

I was so skeptical of this place when I walked in the door. The place was packed and there was a like wrapped around the place. Finally made it to the production line and it was well worth the wait. Ordered two pizzas, one was veggie, the other just pepperoni. Both were delicious. Love the concept, love the food. I only wish it was closer to me.

Found this place because I go to Qdoba occasionally. The quality of the pizza is tier 1, and price is very reasonable. Great service as well- as soon as my friends and I entered we felt welcome. Can pick all the toppings you want for less than $7, and great customer service!

  • Emmanuel C.

Great thin crust pizza! I walked into this place for lunch today and will certainly be coming back! Make your own pizza with the freshest of toppings. There's a number of different sauces and toppings to choose from. The pizza is quickly fired and you're eating a delicious pizza moments after you've paid for it. Great prices too. An excellent value for a quality pizza. If you're in the mood for a fast and delicious thin crust pizza I highly recommend Blaze.

Awesome pizza! Fresh ingredients! Made "blazingly" fast! The atmosphere was simple and modern. The employees were nice, friendly, and service was quick! Knowing this location was new, there were a few minor issues with the service, but nothing that ruined the overall experience. Give them some time to iron out the details and this will be one of the best places in town for pizza! The prices were reasonable too. Each pizza, which costs around $6.00, is more then enough for a single person. I'd much rather buy a Blaze pizza over that garbage $5 hot and ready pizza from Little Sleazers. Blaze Pizza is my new favorite pizza place in town!

Dined in for the very first time tonight, what a pleasant experience!!! I was greeted right away as I walked in, place was very busy-it was dinner time, since I had never been in before I got the run down on how it works, very knowledgable and friendly guy!! While pizza was cooking I was talking with David and Adrien, very nice guys who made my experience that much better!! I will definitely be back!! Great pizza, great tasting, great price!!!

Amazing. We had some free coupons for this place at work. Just wow. You get a real good-sized, incredibly delicious pizza for a very good price. Great for vegans (yes, they have vegan cheese) and vegetarians, too! I will DEFINITELY be back.

My first time here! This place was very neat and clean and all the employees were very friendly and helpful. Lots of great choices for toppings and it was made pretty fast! I ate inside and found it to be mighty tasty! However, this is definitely a pizza you want to eat right away. Sitting out for a while and it started to taste kind of blah but it definitely tasted great right after it came out of the oven!

We stopped in on a whim as we were driving by but we will definitely be back! It is great to have a delicious meal for under $10. My husband and I both had "made to order" pizzas, his with pepperoni and mushroom and mine with spinach, olives, artichokes, tomatoes, mushrooms and zucchini. Yum! Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. Looking forward to coming back!

We use to love Blaze Pizza (Novi). My family and I live closer to Royal Oak, but my wife and I work in Novi. We were ecstatic once we found a blaze pizza closer to our jobs. We're usually greeted and waited on by crew members eager to help with a smile! This time however I was greeted un appropriately with "Hey Baby, what can I get for you today?" By a crew member named Raven. My wife was appalled with her overly flirtatious greeting and suggestive body language, as we continued down the line, Jenny was the other employee eager to assist us with a smile. Raven however disregarded Jenny and mumbled words that appeared to be degrading and unprofessional. Jenny was visibly effected by her words and actions and stepped off the line, no one she have to endure this sort of embarrassment! Even though the Novi location is closer to our jobs, we won't be back!!

Great place for people with food allergies! First pizza place I've found in the area that has gluten free crust and dairy free, vegan cheese! The line was incredibly long, but they seemed to try to move quickly. We tried the online order ahead, but the system didn't really seem to be in place and we ended up waiting longer than the people in line. (I wouldn't recommend it)

  • Julie G.

I work near here and my co-worker and I have been trying to get in here for weeks. The place would be near perfect if it weren't for the parking situation, forget about finding a spot during weekday lunch hour. Doesn't help the parking situation with Qdoba being right next door as well. Finally got in on a Saturday and was totally pleased. The service was great, very friendly and very helpful to newbies. He explained the pizza and process. For those who don't know, you can either make your own or go with the list of signature pizzas (I am a HUGE fan of BBQ chicken pizza). Made my order and specifically asked for NO banana peppers and watched him cross if off the list as he took my name and order. Got banana peppers on the pizza. Would have said something but by that time the line was getting long and it wasn't a huge deal anyway--the pizza tasted fantastic. Being a thin crust lover, the crust was chewy and flavorful and the perfect size for a hearty lunch. Nothing beats Supino's at Eastern Market but I can see myself coming here quite a bit as long as I can find some parking. Wish Novi would expand the lot. Definitely worth coming if you are in the area--try to avoid the lunch rush.

I LOVE Blaze!! I'm addicted and have been there many times in the last month. I love their gluten free crust. The only thing I don't like is the fact that I crave it so much!

    (5)
  • Angela M.

Not bad, not bad at all! Loved that you could create your own pizza and they really have a nice selection of toppings! The crust is pretty thin, but I think that's so they can cook it so quickly. Even so, it's still nice and crispy. The people behind the counter were very friendly and I liked that they called you by name. Nice touch. We enjoyed the service and the pizza and were pleasantly surprised. Will be back again.

No matter what pizza you get, make sure you add the BBQ drizzle and get a smore pie! By far, this is the best pizza I've had so far in Michigan!

  • Binnan O.

Great "fast food" option, basically a chipotle of pizzas. I've been here a few times and have enjoyed all the variations you can make, always a little different each time. The ingredients are fresh and the crust is crispy but with a little bite. I really enjoy the spicy sauce, which really isn't spicy at all, and always ask for extra sauce. In terms of gripes, some of the leafy greens they just toss on the pizza which in the extreme heat of the often really just burns/chars so i recommend adding a olive oil drizzle so they actually cook. I did have a slightly overdone pizza once which they re-made for me without too much issue. I'm always eager to find an excuse to come here when we're looking for a quick bite.

I debated on whether or not to give this place four stars. It's a great place for what it's meant to be. A place to get decent food, with lots of variety, at a good price. Is it the most quality pizza I've ever had? No. But it's pretty damn good and I really liked the variety and imagination of this restaurant. I ordered the Red Vine while my husband ordered the White Top and then we split it. Both of us really liked both pizzas and I really liked that it was slightly bigger than personal size and if I wanted to bring my two kids here it wouldn't cost me a fortune. They would love this place and the freedom to make it their own. My only complaint was that the area where they construct the pizzas had random toppings all over the place and was very messy which was a bit off putting. Granted, it could have been because of the time of day (rush hour) but a little wipe down wouldn't have hurt. Other than that it's a good place to eat and have any kind of pizza you want.

  • Margaret V.

I had high hopes for Blaze, but felt a little let down. Like others have mentioned, Blaze is a lot like Subway... You get to pick and choose what you want on your pizza. They have plenty of suggestions and you are able to add/remove as much as you want. I ended up getting the Vine pizza thought it was ok. That's about it. There wasn't enough flavor. It didn't have much sauce and it didn't have much cheese. I understand that it's thin crust and therefore you don't want to bog it down with toppings, but I wasn't overly impressed. The thin crust was nice. Despite that, I want to come back.. They have a lot of unique toppings that would make for a great pizza...

Love my triple cheese + Pizza! Good for a change! Very busy in there & lucky to get a table! We ordered the "unlimited toppings" & of course I always overdo it! Triple cheese/ triple mushrooms/plus! It looked Hugh, but when cooked everything blended in! Good place for young kids and also eating fast or on the run! You can order ahead or on line also!!!

  • Ornella B.

Still awesome pizza, the hubby and I visited when we were in the mood and it was delicious. They skimped a little on the onions and mushrooms though which was a bummer. However, one gripe is the price went up (this was noticeable since they did not top my pizza as well as they have in the past), the make your own is now over $7.00 per pizza =/

    (4)
  • Michael L.

Two rather large personal pizzas for less than many large or extra large pizzas. This place eliminates the need to either compromise or spend $30 to get the pizza(s) you want. I was impressed with the fresh meats, vegetables, and spicy marinara (optional). What makes this pizza place stand out is that aside from the cheaper simple pizzas all other pizzas (including build your own) are the same price! Lastly, (at least at this location) they are very cautious about dairy allergies and changed their gloves when we ordered our pizzas with no cheese.

    (5)
  • Brian B.

Called 3 times no answer at 1pm Thursday. Ordered online and given a pickup time of 1:45, got there and pizza wasn't made yet. It wasn't that busy when I got there. Why do they have online ordering if they make it when you get there, with 45 minutes to do it.

  • Billy J.

Blaze pizza is a genius for Pizzas. You can add all the toppings you want. It is a great idea for people to pick the toppings they want on the pizza. They do tend to call them "pies" which is not a term I use for pizza. I'll stick with the term pizza. You should go here any time, they are so quick for anytime service. You're welcome.

Gotta say, this place is fast becoming my favorite pizza place. Friendly staff, fast pizza. Im almost not missing the fact that I dont get breadsticks with my pizza. I love the Red Vine. Add sausage, black olives and spinach and I'm one happy girl. I might become a regular.

  • Alex V.

Blaze pizza is a place that continuously impresses me. From their modern atmosphere to the friendly fast service - I've always had positive experiences. For starters, this place doesn't feel like a chain to me. They have fantastic toppings to choose from, and the meats, cheeses and veggies always look so good! The worst part is having to pick which toppings to not put on. I've had a pre-made pie before, but if its your first time choose the 'build your own' option.

    (5)
  • Matthew K.

I can't tell you how impressed I was by this place. The workers were friendly, they handled the lunch-hour rush very well, and both orders were correct. It helps that we told them what to put on, sure, but they didn't mix up our orders at the end checkout, either. And there were dozens of pizzas rotating in and out at any given time. The pizzas themselves were great. Roasted garlic is always a favorite topping, but even them minced garlic turned out good on the pizza. I took the advice of others and added salt and pepper to avoid too bland of a pizza. I can't comment on how it tasted before adding, but the pizza was great. For $7.25, getting an anything-topping pizza that fills up a lunch appetite is a nice change. I've heard the prices have increased several times since they opened -- I can't vouch for that, but I hope they don't keep going up, because that's one of the main appeals of this place -- good pizza, made fast and to order, at a good price. Keep it up.

Went on Pi Day (3/14) for a great dinner out! The restaurant was rather packed and for a good reason - they were selling custom made pizzas with unlimited toppings for only $3.14! I made mine to my liking with spicy pizza sauce, mozzarella, gorgonzola, and feta cheeses, banana peppers, mushrooms, sautéed onions, pineapple, grilled chicken, applewood bacon, smoked ham, and barbecue sauce to top it all off! I must say it was a terrific pizza, but I'll add less cheese next time. Overall a wonderful time.

What a lovely experience for 4 first time Blaze Pizza customers! After a long day of walking around IKEA, dealing with miserable weather conditions (thanks for the floods, Mother Nature!) and shopping at Twelve Oaks Mall, my family of 4 were famished as we finally got a chance to get dinner before trekking home. My sister did the usual routine: Check Yelp for local restaurants with solid reviews and hope to not be disappointed. Blaze Pizza was far from a disappointment! We walked into happy employees happy to assist us. Because it was our first time there, they filled us in on how the place works. $6.79 for a build your own pizza with unlimited (fresh and gourmet!) toppings?! Sign me up! My family opted for 2 build your own pizzas while I was craving the BBQ Chicken. The wait wasn't bad at all and a gentleman even was helpful to my Mom, who informed him that my sister cannot have gluten. For $2 more you can get gluten free crust (which my sister and auntie loved!) During the entire course of my dining experience my family and I couldn't stop complimenting Blaze Pizza! We're not from the area so any type of pizza that is not a hot and ready is a win for us! While Blaze Pizza gives you a "hipster and fast food" type of feel due to their decor, I promise you the food is so much better than a regular fast food joint or even your local Jets/Little Caesars/Hungry Howie's. For $30 my family enjoyed 3 pizzas and soft drinks. Let me mention that a week ago my Mom paid over $25 at Jets Pizza for a large 2-topping pizza, breadsticks, and a pop. At Blaze Pizza we got 3 (thin crust) pizzas with unlimited toppings, 2 pops, and 2 bottled waters ..... all for under $30. What a great steal! I'll definitely be coming back for more again soon, despite the drive!

I was really excited to come eat here....Kind of like Chipotle for pizza. A water pipe had burst b/c of the cold and the employees were shouting about it to one another but never apologizing to the customers that the drinks, sinks and bathrooms weren't functioning... The employees all had hair in the faces, dirty clothing on and looked unclean. The tables were dirty, no napkins, no silverware, no to-go cups. I would love to suggest this place to others but until it is cleaned up a bit I wouldnt

Good pizza! I've visited a couple times now... if you go at dinner time, expect a line. Luckily the employees are efficient enough that you won't be waiting for long. I like their style of thin-crust pizza. It's got a good flavor and the size is great for $7. I mean, it's no $5 Hot-N-Ready, but you're getting much better ingredients and the comfort of knowing it was made fresh for you. I find the employees are a little greedy on toppings, but I haven't had an issue asking for more of this-or-that. The wait for your pizza is about 90 seconds after making it through the line. It comes out hot just for you. They also have boxes if you want yours to go, or want to take your leftovers. Plenty of seating, solid drink choices and friendly employees are just the mozzarella on the pie. The only thing that could make this place better would be an adult beverage selection.

Great lunch spot! Fresh personal thin crust pizza's at an affordable price. Concept is perfectly described as a Subway/Qdoba set up where you stand in line and order food and don't have a waitress The line can look intimidating sometimes but they have enough staff to keep the line moving. Even during the busy lunch hour I've only waited about 10 min or so. Pizza's are under $7 for as many toppings as you want! One downside is they don't have a ton of seating but luckily it's a quick turnover that I've never had an issue finding a spot to eat. Another negative is the parking lot is always packed. This strip mall has the worst parking set up! Staff has always been friendly and attentive and every time I'm there at least one or two people stop by our table to see how everything is or take our trash.

    (3)
  • Andrew W.

Fabulous concept. Super scummy employees and dirty store. Tables weren't wiped down, napkins weren't stocked, to-go boxes were out, every surface was covered with crumbs, pizza chunks, sticky or all of the above, and any type of service with a smile is a no go. More like 'whatchoo want, $9.95 (hand reaches out for your credit card)'. With some proper staff/training this place could be a knockout success.

I never imagined that someone would find a way to make a Fast Food Pizza restaurant. By Fast Food Pizza, I don't mean where Dominoes makes a bunch and keeps them under a lamp to keep them warm. At Blaze they actually cook your Pizza after you order it, so when you get it, its fresh made. I'm envious that we don't have any of these in Nashville and I have to come to Novi to get one! If you are in the mood for Pizza, but are on a "lunchtime" budget, I highly recommend Blaze. I can't wait to come back!

I really enjoyed this place. I think it is a great concept having the customer build their own pizza using whatever toppings, sauces and cheeses they want. My pizza tasted great! The line moves fast too and if you decide to eat in the store you can still get a to go box. Although the restaurant design is a lot like Subway, the quality of the ingredients isn't at all like Subway. Blaze uses premium ingredients unlike Subway which uses one grade above prison food. Blaze also has many more ingredients to choose from and you can choose any of them to put on your pizza whereas at Subway you can only select the veggies and cheese for your mostly bread sandwich. You can also order online and they will have it ready when you come in.

I'm sure the food is good but I wouldn't know because the rude girl that answered my call was "too busy" to take my order and hung up on me.

After multiple visits, we are officially big fans of Blaze. Whether we are ordering one of their specialty pizzas or (as I prefer) designing our own, the pizzas are crispy, the toppings fresh and the high heat oven reduces the time from ordering to eating. Our boys (pizza snobs that they are) devoured their cheese pizza and my darling wife and I had the opportunity to get creative with toppings. (Sautéed onions-yes, fresh basil-please). Great to have Buddy's in Novi for a deep dish gut bomb and Blaze serving as the perfect counterpoint for a lighter pizza experience.

Really I can't even give this place a star at all, because I didn't get to eat here. When my sister and I walked in, there were two employees working and the place was a DISASTER! They didn't greet us whatsoever, we stood there looking at the menu, trying to decide where to place our order. The employee that was making the pizza had her back to us and never bothered to turn around. Who knows what the other one was doing? I proceeded to go up to the counter where I assumed you ordered since people have said its like Subway or Chipotle. Still no one acknowledges me. Then a group of people came in behind me and just started ordering to the employee with her back turned. She turned around and started taking their order while I stood there in front of them obviously not part of their group and obviously ahead of them in line. That was my cue to leave. A little bummed that I didn't get a chance to try this place and that I'm still hungry! The concept seems cool and the pizza descriptions sounded good, so maybe at a different location I'd have better luck, but this place needs some help!

Went in at 1pm Monday Daryl, Adam, Toni, and I think his name was Bradley were awesome. This is how service should be. Everyone was friendly and seamed happy to help. My pizza this time was a meat eater and Adam made it perfectly just the right amount of sea salt. We will decently be back with this kind of service.

It's always fun to build your own pie. But this visit was not as pleasant as previous visits. Grouchy staff. Dirty and empty drink containers. The Blaze experience is fun when your customer service is better... Smiles go a long way...

This is my favorite place for gluten free pizza. It's a really thin crust but it doesn't taste like garbage which is awesome. Also for 9.95 you can get as many toppings as you want, which I am a HUGE fan of. It's subway style where everything is out in front of you and you just have them throw on what looks good. There's generally a long line, but you can order online and just pick your stuff up. Come on March 14 for pizzas for $3.14

What's not to like? Delicious pizza, that's quick and custom without a lot of pain!!! I can make it any way I like it, the staff was super fun and friendly as we moved through the line. Pesto sauce was so good and the thin crust was a nice change from deep dish pizza. Great for people needing veggie and vegan options which I appreciate.

Good take out place for pizza. The fact that you can make your pizza is on its own the best thing about this place.

We've steadily been going here since the first time we met up with Liz and her hubby on a cold, cold night last year. My stepdaughter is a pizza fanatic so of course we introduced Blaze to her as well, and she loves it. My hubby usually goes for a white pizza with whatever floats his boat that day, usually it contains onions of some kind with sausage and garlic. I am partial to the spicy sauce with simple toppings; fresh mozzarella and basil is on my rotation along with a roasted garlic with caramelized onions, ricotta and arugula pizza at other times. Grape tomatoes with artichoke and onion is another fave. As you'll have gathered from other reviews, the place has a highly customizable concept. Pick your crust (regular or GF), sauces (white, red or spicy) and toppings. At the end you can opt to finish your creation with a pesto or olive oil drizzle. Word to the wise, don't go topping overboard or you'll end up with a soggy pie where the toppings will slide right off. Tomatoes, onions and mushrooms are 'juicy' ingredients so keep that in mind, and if you don't want your toppings swimming in pesto, be sure to specify you want a 'light' drizzle - they are a little heavy handed on the squeeze bottles. At Blaze you can 'Have it your way' for prices equivalent to another fast restaurant who's slogan I just borrowed. Matter of fact, around $7 dollars for a filling meal with fresh ingredients, freshly prepared in front of you is not bad at all!

I totally love this concept! Literally building your own pizza without having to pay for all the extra toppings you love on your pizza! A very large selection of sauces, cheeses, meats and vegetable, they don't miss one! Great place for all ages, pizza lovers and quick dinner to pick up. The line does tend to get long but it is pretty speedy. The only option I was hoping for was a whole wheat crust, but besides that I didn't have many compliments.

I wasn't sure what to expect when we walked in but it's set up just like a Subway but with pizza. You can either pick from their eight pizzas or build your own. You have a choice of four different sauces, a few cheese options (they even had vegan cheese!), and a variety of toppings like roasted garlic, caramelized onions and more! The pizza takes about five minutes and you have the option to finish off your pizza with pesto drizzle which was yummy! We'll be back!

I love walking to the front of the line when I order online! Super speedy and Delicious!!! The employees are always very friendly, can't ask for much more when grabbing a bite to eat.

Blaze Pizza is top notch. It's basically a Qdoba, but for pizza instead. Tons of items to choose from, all for a great price. I highly suggest trying one of their s'more cookie desserts. They warm it up in the oven!

For fast food, this is a really great option. Lightning fast, inexpensive, tasty, and a decent atmosphere. One question, though: what's with the apostrophe in "Fire'd"? Seriously - somebody help me out here! I had the Green Stripe signature pizza on my first trip and it was quite tasty - well balanced flavor profile and the crust is quite good for a fast food pizza. There are a number of signature pizzas that look good -- the menu is much more inspired than some other supposedly-higher-end chains like Tony Sacco's. The parking at this location is awful, but if you can find a spot, it is a great option for a quick and inexpensive lunch. I'll be back any time I am passing through Novi during the lunch hour.

Love, love, love!! This place is the best concept since sliced bread!! Imagine being able to order a fresh, hot, delicious pizza with whatever you want on top. Imagine being able to get gluten free crust if you so desire, as well as fresh veggies, meats, and seasonings. Imagine that the pizza is baked in 180 seconds - oh and it's under 8 bucks! Welcome to Blaze Pizza

How can you go wrong? You create your own pizza. Delicious, friendly staff, no extra money to add toppings! Nice thin stuffed pizza so you don't get extremely full. All together great experience and will be returning

So since my last review, I've mostly been eating at the Royal Oak location, because it is closer to my house. However, today we ate at this location, since I was with my parents, and it was just as good as it was the last time I was there. My favorite thing to do now is the build your own, and I usually add shredded mozzarella, ovalini mozzarella, chicken, pepperoni, and mushrooms. From there, today I added Italian sausage, red peppers, oregano, garlic, and my favorite, at the end, a dash of pesto drizzle. I also really like their blood orange lemonade, it's not something you see at most restaurants. I would come back here if back in the area. Great customer service too, and the place is always clean and tidy.
