Compared to some of the other reviewers here, I have to say I have never had a bad meal nor received poor service here---which, if you knew me you'd know that is saying a lot because I am notorious for receiving bad service, despite my pleasant demeanor! I usually get the fish & chips or the chicken sandwich and a tall Labatts. The waitresses have always been friendly and quick. No complaints there. I also went there for St. Pat's day and the waitresses was extremely helpful in getting me and my husband a place to sit, despite the crowd. Wish I could remember her name. Thanks Sheehans.

Great Fish & Chips on Friday Night.....worth the wait....and the wait staff is friendly and full of Sunshine.....Trudy is the best.....this is more than just a local irish bar...

The beer is priced decent and its a great place to watch a game. What I really go there for is the Black & Blue Burger. I swear it is the BEST burger I have ever had. I love their Blue cheese dressig. I always get extra on the side....Mmmmmmmmmm.

The waitress dropped off a tray of fixins when my eye was caught by a Tupperware bowl loaded with 20 fat lil pepperoncinis. My mouth sprinklers kicked on. They began watering my fresh lawn of taste buds, then a message sent all the way from my gut to the lips whispered "Hellz to the F*ing yea, I'm bouts to grub!" Now this right here is my kinda Irish pub old school beer joint. Old timers, locals, jazz music, micro-brews, benches soaked with history and beer. Golf, bar games, sports and TVs thrown around in the all the right places. The air smelled of decades of not giving a dang about changing a thing. This old joint should be granted a historical landmark sign as the Michigan institution on homestyle burgers, beer, and a good time. Oh yea and the reason I came, the cajun burger, served on a white bread bun with curly fries. The fat juicy patty, cheese, and sauce all soaked into that soft white bun and brought a smile from ear to ear. The curly fries were so hot and fresh I had to wait minutes to eat them. The only way I could cool them off in time was to smother them in ketchup and hot sauce. My biggest hope is when I come back, and oh I'll be back, Sheehan is still kicking it On the Green.

I rarely leave reviews. In fact this is my first one. I've been here multiple times in the past couple of months and every time the food is fantastic. I will say though, I've only ever gotten burgers. They are amazing. Cooked to perfection. The burger to bun ratio is ideal. Onion rings are massive and delicious. One of my favorite places to get a burger Edit: got a buffalo chicken wrap and it was dank

If you are looking for a great neighborhood style bar, Sheehan's really is just that. We go to trivia every week there and the waitstaff is awesome and friendly. The food, while a bar food menu is good and you can see them cooking so you know what you are getting. Seems like a pretty popular place.

What a neat little place. They got shuffleboard, and that's my joint. I had dinner here the other night, and it was fantastic. The chicken nachos were really good. I had a Caesar wrap and there are no complaints evacuating my face at the moment. Food was pretty well priced. Seemed like a cool joint. If I lived out this way I would go there a lot more.

Great place to stop in and green a quick lunch and a beer. Place is insane on St. Paddy's Day...get there early.

Their hamburgers and hot dogs are so good. The drink is variety of choices. The price are so reasonable. They are hidden off of 5 mile Rd however, I didn't know there is a such nice pub and diner nearby.

We live very close to Sheehans, so we come here pretty frequently for two reasons... Convenience and consistency. The burgers are good. The sandwiches are good. The fish is good. Common theme is good... The only thing I recommend is for the cook to season the food a bit more before cooking it. I find that I have to salt everything that I order.

Zero stars I have been here 3 different , times same experience extremely poor service , waited forever for our meal, forever for the check even after I searched for the waitress I give her my charge card to push Like. Umm hint hint 45 min my meals done I want to go -- still much later till we even received our check out !! Again poor service food taste wise is fair , burgers , sandwich- one order was wrong took forever to make it right so that never happened. Every thing is very pricy & extra for fries w your hamburger if u want tomatos for ur hamburger it's extra for that too. Basically u go there to drink watch a game and that's it mostly for rugged guys/men

Awesome! Wide variety of beers on tap and great food on menu. Don't forget to ask for Therese! She's the best!

Simple Irish bar that has very good bar food. If you order a burger, you get a full condiment tray to top your burger with all the extras you crave. The staff is always very friendly and the food is consistent. This is a great place to have a burger and a few cold beers after playing a round of golf or if you want to watch the game on their TVs.

For Sheehan's I feel like I need to come up with some golf punnery... Let's see... I wish I could say Sheehan's was an ace, but if feeling extremely unwelcome is par for the course then this place is a bogey. How'd I do? I'd really like to like Sheehan's, but I just don't know if I can. We went on a Friday evening for the burgers with a decent sized group. I'll start with the good part - the burger. We all had a burger and they were all delicious! I'm not a big burger person, but after reading a couple yelp reviews I had to try one. I had a spicy jalapeno concoction that was super tasty. The fries weren't too shabby either. Now the not-so-good part - The atmosphere is pretty typical dive bar, maybe a tad too musty for my taste. Unfortunately the clientele is really what killed it. It felt like we walked into a party where we hadn't been invited. A group of 7 people who all live within a mile or two and I felt like we were on Mars. Weird looks, unfriendly glances, and a few rude moments were just a bit too much. I don't know if we just hit a bad night, but it certainly seemed like most of these folks were right at home. The burgers are good, but there are plenty of places with good burgers, so I doubt I'll give this place a mulligan.

So it was my man's bday and I had reservations set for Andiamos, but the man wanted his burger fix and where else do we go to get that fix??? Yes, this is our place. Nothing fancy. Service is hit or miss, but the food is always on. So KUDOS to the cooks : ) The man had his burger and beer and was STUFFASATISFIED. I ordered wings and irish nachos. Nix on the Irish nachos, just not my thing. A friend had raved on and on about them, but I have had better. I would change to potato fries, not the hard crunchy chips. The toppings were weak; melted cheddar, bacon bit and i think some tomatos..The wings were FABU!!! I choose here for my wings any time over BWW; not too big and not to small. Crispy and just the right amount of heat. Need two blues rather than the one lil container. Fave place when I need that comfort food : )

My wife and her sisters meet here once a month or so for lunch since it is central to where they all live. My wife talks me into going there tonight for fish and chips. We had an issue and the manager had to come over, it was obvious the person has not been in the business very long, or has no idea how to handle customers..or both. The bottom line is that she let two good paying..good tipping customers leave pissed off, now my wife says she will never ever go there again to meet here sisters..she will find another place for their meetings.. and of course we will never go back there. So in not only did they lose our business they lost a once a month group of four women that like to eat and drink. Plus all the people we tell the story to and I am in the food business. Sheehans is not that good to begin with..and in this economy to not try to resolve a "simple" issue and to let customers leave mad is unheard of. When we were leaving the two couples sitting next to us and heard the manager said "I can`t believe they handled that so poorly" The only good thing about the whole night was our waitress..and she kept saying how sorry she was about how the manager acted. It was not her fault at all!! Never again for Sheehans!!

I can't believe I haven't yelped Sheehan's. This is my go to burger joint. The burgers have ALWAYS been consistent. The service is generally spot on and the popcorn is always at the ready. No decor, unless you enjoy tv sports and beer mirrors, but who cares. I love the fact that a fellow Yelper went here rather than Andiamo's. They don't realize how fortunate they were.

This place may not be my first choice for night time entertainment but I still will have a good time here no matter what. Andrew was right in his review...Sheehan's is a little bit dumpy, a little bit country but this place definitely has some heart. Located right on a golf course, this bar features your typical American draft beers, along with the Canadian and Irish staples (Guinness, and their cheesy ass posters for good measure). I come for the cheap beer but stay for the have-it-my-way burgers and the shuffleboard. The burgers are pretty good here. I always get the turkey burger, as I don't eat red meat but I hear that the regular burgers are pretty good as well. If you are ordering food, you have, have, have to try the onion rings! An order of onion rings will set you back a few bucks but they are worth is as they are the size of your head! They are these thick, crispy, greasy slices of onion-y heaven. Some gripes though: Small yucky bathrooms, the servers could actually feign a smile and the shuffle board table is somewhat blocked, as it is up against the wall surrounded by bar tables. I can do with the first two, but when you mess with my shuffleboard game, I get annoyed. It was just annoying to have to bother the people sitting and drinking because I needed to lean over to clear the board.

Not Bad... But, not Great! It depends on what your looking for. If you are looking for fun and great Beer deals, (Which, hell.. I'm NOT one to hate a great beverage deal!!) Then, this is your place!! Burger's are good, Fish and Chips are tasty!! Nice place to have a good time! Other than the burger's and fish, it's.. so/so! But, as far as the night life scene, goes... A good time will be had by all!

I love Sheehan's. I love it so much, I usually spend every birthday here. They have free shuffleboard, that is awesome. Or grab a beer and watch a game here. Any occasion is a good occasion. And they care about what happens there, because my former boss came up there with us once and got us kicked out because of fowl language. I find that great that a bar, and also a family restaurant, is keeping things PC for the rest of the patrons of the establishment. Not mad one bit we were asked to leave that day, and we went back the next. I love many things on their menu. Their burgers are great, so are really any of the sandwiches. Most of my friends that frequent this place love their corn beef sandwich. They also have happy hour specials, and I don't know if you can muster up cahonas to order a PBR bottle, but its just a $1.50 during happy hour. C'mon! That's awesome. The environment is always a plus. Tim, the owner, is there quite often, and he is always a pleasure and talking with the customers. Not even about the service they are getting, just chatting with them about their day. He's a great guy. The service is good as well, always staying on top of refills or new drinks before you are empty. And yes, they have free popcorn.

Dive bar done right! Stopped in the other night on one of our bar hop Friday nights. I love a "dive bar" like anyone else and was surprised how much I liked it here. The location is just weird but the place is great. It's located in the parking lot of a driving range and kids day camp place. Quick service and waitress was really nice. There was 8 of us so she gladly moved a few tables together for us. Ordered drinks and a burger. Good selection of beers and quality stiff drink. Back to the burgers!! All 8 of us ordered burgers and we all loved them. I had the black and blue and it was delicious. Large selection of burgers and toppings and seems to be their specialty. They do have a shuffleboard table and jukebox to add to the entertainment factor. It appears they have good beer specials because I did see a lot of people drinking LARGE beers. I believe they even call them personal pictures. Wife and I will be back for the drinks and the burgers.

Some of the BEST Detroit Area Burgers.... and anyway you like them! Way better than good. Free popcorn, free shuffleboard. Beer deals early. Nice pulled pork sandwich and of course, fried fish sandwiches too. Sports Bar with lots of viewing. Dine out on the patio if the weather allows. Go early with the kids and it is fine. Cozy old fashioned neighborhood bar feel. Nothin' fancy. Food is just plain GOOD! Prices are reasonable . We like it a lot.

A little dumpy, a little hillbilly, but good nonetheless. The burgers are good, free popcorn, free shuffleboard. What wins me over are the free pepperoncini's. Average beer selection. I usually come here to eat during the day, not for a drink at night.
