Couldn't give it no stars. :-( I had to ask for a menu, sit myself down, ask for napkins and water and ask for the bill. If you don't speak up you will not be noticed or helped. We ordered fries and Mozzarella sticks. Took about 25 minutes to come out and the fries were not even cooked all the way.. Halfway into eating we still did not get out napkins or an silverware. So we had to ask for it.. And they still took a while to get them to us.. Would not recommend this place at all. Go to McDonald's.. They will at least acknowledge you are in the building. And it was not busy when we got there either..

We were touring the old homes in the area and decided to stop for lunch. We sat up on the roof and had a great view and it was cool under the umbrellas on a warm day. Couldn't resist ordering the perch basket since we always like to sample the local fish. Wow! If you like fish and you've never had perch you should try it here. It was absolutely delicious. The breading was very light so it didn't spoil the taste of the fish. If you're in the area this is a must stop for lunch.

We have frequented the Tipsy Toad many times during our Summer Celebration excursions. We returned to the Tipsy Toad on April 17, 2011 to celebrate by niece's 21st birthday. This was our first stop of the night. I was surprised to see only a couple of people in a bar that used to be pretty well-frequented. A member of our party, who had recently visited Tipsy Toad, ordered a "sex on the beach" drink, and upon receiving it was told that they switched to a "pre-mixed" drink. Several at the table tasted it and agreed it was a terrible drink, compared to the original bar-mixed version. Upon voicing her dislike of the drink with the server, the "owner" sitting at the bar, berated or server and told her she would be lucky to have a job on Monday. The bar tender re-made a normal version of the drink, which was fine, but it was really unprofessional that the owner would berate his employee just because a patron had a problem with a drink. Which, he did, right in front of us. We felt really bad for the server, she was just serving what the management had established as policy. The manager, after just one round, told our server to cash us out because he evidently didn't appreciate us standing up for his server. I feel sorry for the server and WILLNOT return to this establishment. It's a shame, because it at one time was a decent bar/restaurant.

My husband & I shared a 1/2# cheeseburger and onion rings. Not very impressed. The ground meat had a funny taste to it. It just might have been us, but I don't know. Nothing special about the onion rings

Muskegon was one of our stops on the 2011 Hod Rod Power Tour. We had some really good power tour coupons provided by the City of Muskegon Tourism people. All the businesses that honored the coupons put blue balloons outside their front doors.The Manager of the Tipsy Toad put the blue balloons outside, and then would not accept the coupons once the bill came. Shame on you.
