First, I'd like to say I love you and thank you to all the Yelpers that directed us here. I had a migraine and was hungry so I looked up the menu online and ordered a 16' Godfather pizza (it had sautéed onions and sausage that sold me) and breadsticks with cheese. Amazing food!!!!! You can tell this was not your typical frozen stuff. This had to be some of the best pizza and breadsticks I've had. The girl who took my order was very sweet too. Thumbs up, hobo! Your food is pretty handsome too.

On the way back to our cottage from Michigan's Adventure and I spotted this place. Fantastic stop. The kiddo and I both had pizza - cheese for her and deluxe for me (plus a glass of the Malbec for me). Totally delish. Fantastic decor and waitstaff. If you're in the Muskegon area - definitely stop by.

Awesome place! Great food, the whole family chose a different New York style pizza and everyone loved it. Cool atmosphere and wonderful service.

My husband and I really enjoyed the food here. The Muskegon area has been lacking in good restaurants for awhile now, and HH's is just what the area needed! We each got a 9" pizza. I got just cheese, and my hubby got the deluxe. The Deluxe had really good sausage. I'll get that one next time. I also got the Teddy salad, and it had bacon that had just been cooked. It was still warm! The breadsticks are also very good. They're not greasy at all. The server was great and the prices are very reasonable. We'll definitely go back when we're in the area!

This was a delightful stop for dinner while we were vacationing in the area. The pizza was good, atmosphere welcoming and relaxing.

Had a party of 7 and we were still sat quickly. I assumed they wouldn't take dinner reservations because Hobos tavern doesn't. Now I know better that they do. The goat cheese app was amazing as well as the breadsticks. We also tried the farmers market pizza and loved it. A couple people at the table got the ribs and really liked the sauce but the ribs were dry. I had the spicy vodka ruffalini. It would have been amazing but there were way too many Jalapeños making it so spicy it wasn't edible. (And I love jalapeños). Over all we liked the food and will go back. We might get take out though if it's busy because it got crazy loud in there. There is more on the menu we want to try but I am really looking forward to having their pizza again.

After reading the other reviews, our minds were made up that we had to try this pizza while on a mini vacation with our family. We couldn't decide what to get so we got some of everything....deep dish pizza, hot wings, breadsticks, and a French bread pizza. We are a family of 4 so it was way too much food but we all got something we wanted. When we places the order to be delivered to our hotel room, they told us 45 min to an hour. It was a Saturday evening and we weren't in a rush so it didn't seem like a big deal. Well an hour came and went so we called. They said the driver had already left by did take $15 off our bill. That was great. But then 1.5 hours passed and we had to call again. They said 5 minutes more but really it was about 15 minutes more. We still tipped the driver as maybe it was a kitchen issue and not a drive tissue. Who knows really. We were told that the order some with silverware and plates and napkins as they knew we were in a hotel and not at home. They must have forgotten to add them to the bag of food. The food was not warm at all when it arrived. However, we did like how the food tasted. The deep dish was very good and so were the breadsticks. The wings were average but we didn't expect something spectacular like we did the pizza. All this being said, I believe they were probably so busy for a Saturday and sometimes that happens. They did try to make up for it. I just wish they would have told me the truth on delivery instead of us having to keep on calling back. I would be willing to try again if I was in the area and maybe alter my review of necessary.

Ordered from Handsome Hobo's while snowed-in at the Weathervane this past weekend. The pizza (New York style basil pesto) was delicious and far exceeded expectations. It was totally worth the extra delivery costs. Would definitely order from them again while in the area!

I stopped here on a whim, after looking at the reviews on Yelp. I'm glad I did. We ordered both the deep dish and the "house" pizzas. The deep dish was amazing. It was a perfect blend of spices and deliciousness. I'm not a big fan of the thick traditional Chicago style pizza. This particular one was just the right amount of bulk, without being too much. These guys have it right.

Very good! The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff were very friendly. The breadsticks were reallygood and the "Terry" salad was yummy. I had the olive oil and herb pizza and I loved it. I did special order tomatoes on the pizza and the kitchen forgot to add it, but it came out so tasty that I didn't even care. My 9 year old daughter devoured her pizza and proclaimed it so good she colored a picture for the chef. Would definitely recommend!

Great pizza, friendly servers that are very attentive. Ask about the happy hour drink specials. Luv the personal 9" pizza. It lets you have your special choice without disrupting your companions choice. The pizza is very favorable and yummy. The it place for pizza.

Went there for the first time tonight with my husband and left with such a positive experience. My husband got a pizza which was delicious, and we split the breadsticks (add the mozz! So yummy) and I ordered the bacon mac. I didn't love what I ordered, simply because I'm a freak about the texture of my bacon, and it was all soft and had the texture more like ham than crispy bacon. Needless to say, I didn't eat much of it but I didn't complain because it was my own fault for ordering something I am picky about. When our lovely waitress noticed I didn't eat much, she asked if I liked it and when I shyly said that I didn't she had her manager comp it from our bill. We were just very pleasantly taken aback at such great customer service. We will definitely be back.

A great dinner after an exciting day at the amusement park. The NY style pizza, angel hair pasta, and service were all very good!

As a Gluten Free Vegetarian....this place was perfect. You wouldn't tell by the outside.....the logo and external decor need a SERIOUS makeover. (Sorry, graphic designer...). The food is delicious and it is such a fancy place! A fire place! Dim soft lighting. Fancy bar! Fantastic desserts. Definitely a place to take a first date ;) (per my 13 year old brother)

We are originally from Chicago so I guess that makes us someone credible to review their deep dish. We really enjoyed it! The sauce was a little on the sweet side which I like, and the crust was definitely homemade. It wasn't a Lou Malnati's but I likes it better than Giordano's, Nancy's or Uno's. Try it, you'll like it!

While visiting Muskegon on vacation we came across this pizzeria. To start, the hostess' were determined not to seat our large group of eight (four were kids) even though there was plenty of available seating. Our waitress was very nice and responsive. The food on the other hand was lacking. We ordered two appetizers and three large pizzas. The artichoke dip was good but the brushetta was covered with balsamic vinegar and covered any other possible flavor. All three pizzas had very little sauce making it impossible to enjoy it. The Mac n cheese pizza was missing the cheesiness and the only standout flavor was the breadcrumbs. Both the white chicken and the bacon chicken ranch had the potential to be awesome if the actually put the Alfredo or ranch sauce on there. We spoke to the manager during visit, and he did not care of offer any suggestions for improvement. Save your money and try something else.

I've been here twice now and the pizza was fabulous both times! I've had both the deep dish and hand tossed and neither disappoint. I'm not a huge fan of deep dish- it always seems like it's a lot of sauce and not very much cheese or toppings. The deep dish here is STACKED with toppings and has the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. The cheese breadsticks are excellent too. Prices are reasonable- we fed 4 adults, a teenager with the appetite of a ravenous monster, a second teen, and 5 kids for $94 before tip. That was for 2 deep dish and 2 large pizzas, plus 2 orders of cheese breadsticks and pop or iced tea all around. There was plenty left for lunch the next day. I didn't check out the wine but they did have some craft beers on tap. Like others have said, don't let the exterior fool you. It's kind of cheesy (pun intended) outside but the interior is very tastefully decorated, warm, and inviting. Try it, you'll like it!

This place was great! My wife and I split the 10" Chicago style deep dish. The crust was flaky and very tasty. She had eaten at Giordano's a couple weeks before and she preferred the pizza here. Our son had the Cheese and bacon pasta and loved that. Our daughter had a cheese pizza off the kids menu and she spoke highly of it. Service was great. Ambiance was awesome.

The outside of the building, while boldly painted bright red, is a far cry from the elegance inside. The way it's decorated gives it a modern, vintage-y vibe. Antique radios handing on the wall. Art tastefully hung, not sh*t just hanging off the walls like at most chain restaurants. The paint is dark, the lights are dim. There is a long table that surrounds an indoor fire pit. The bar is upscale and sleek with wines ON TAP. A dream for a wino such as myself. I've been here a few times and everything I've ordered has been pretty fantastic. The risottos are ridiculous - in a good way. The sandwiches are piled high. The breadsticks are HUGE, twisty, garlicky goodness. Steak rollotini - bomb. That sauce!! You'll want to lick the plate, I swear. The cheese & cracker platter is a steal at $6. The only thing we haven't tried is the pizza, ironically. But it's only a matter of time. And it's only because everything else on the menu sounds so damn good! A few tips: sit at the bar if you can - I'm a terrible person and forgot his name - but he's always polite and very good at recommending drinks/wine/etc. Don't be intimidated by the parking lot always being full. It's a shared lot and most of the traffic is usually at Hobo's Tavern (which I think will change once more people give this place a try). And on Tuesdays bottles of wine are half off. Enjoy!

The food from the regular menu is great but its more than just pizza. Head chef Nick can do it all. I regularly attend a monthly wine tasting event that they host and they prepare different food that compliments the wine from different parts of the world and its amazing. Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff...it's quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Muskegon.
