Dinner started off with a very loud birthday celebration at the table next to us, I wish the staff wasn't forced to screen a happy birthday at the top of the Lungs. After a rocky start our server CJ me the whole night worthwhile. The kitchen was putting out some pretty dense rolls, he made sure we get some fresh fluffy ones. Steak was great, CJ make sure we well taken care of, definitely would go back.

My husband and I really enjoy Texas Roadhouse. The variety, portions, taste, prices and service are consistently great. I, particularly, enjoy the BBQ chicken breast and pulled pork BBQ. Our grandson graduates from high school tomorrow. His open house is today and one of the things he requested is pulled pork BBQ so we decided to order it from Texas Roadhouse. Mmmm.... When I went to pick up the BBQ there were four large aluminum pans sitting on the counter. I asked, "Are those all mine?" The manager told me, yes, they were, and that 2 of them contained yeast rolls (YUM!). When I said I hadn't ordered rolls (I was concerned that they were giving me something I hadn't paid for) he replied, "I know. I just threw them in because people enjoy the BBQ on the rolls." Of course, I thanked him! Isn't that awesome? The whole process of ordering from Texas Roadhouse was pleasing and EASY, too. The few people I spoke with were all polite, helpful, and efficient. Not only will my family continue dining at Texas Roadhouse, we will surely be ordering food for special events in the future.

Their food isn't anything to brag about and the waiters and waitresses are rude.

Our waiter was awesome! Friendly and helpful. The manager checked on us even. I the food was great too! Quick, fresh, and more than enough for a serving.

Don't fall for their free appetizer gimmick. My sister and I took our daughters out for a night out. 2 separate checks.... My sister used a coupon to get a free onion blossom. When we got our bills everyones bill was full price. They said when anyone at a table uses a coupon then everyone at that table gets charged full price. What a joke. Everyone at the table ends up paying for the "free" appetizer. The waitress was a joke when I questioned the situation. I called corporate they apologized and promised to mail me a gift card... It never arrived...

Absolutely horrible guest service. I arrived and ordered the 10oz ribeye. It arrived and was about an inch thick and really flat. The color of the steak was a horrible grey color. It looked as if it was boiled. I could barely get through it. I asked the server about it and she said "yeah, thats what our 10oz looks like". I only had a couple of bites. She didn't offer me to have a different meal. I was not impressed. I even spoke with a manager about it and he seemed as if he didn't really care about how unhappy I was. It was my first visit to the Texas Roadhouse and it will be my last. My sisters sirloin was better than my ribeye! Horrible.

Okay all the birthday singing and the peanuts on the floor it's all a little gimmicky. That said, I ordered the bone in rib eye and it was excellent. The Caesar salad that started my meal was very tasty. I think now that I'm looking for a chain steakhouse when I'm traveling for work these guys are pretty high in the running.

Back when I was stationed at Fort Hood, the local chain Texas roadhouse was the best. Always had to wait to get in, usually 40 minutes to 1hour and a half. And we waited because it was that good. So when Texas Roadhouse opened near the mall i was naturally estatic, and have gone there plenty of times. But over the past year I started to notice the quality of the food was going down, and the service was increasingly unbareable. This LAST visit was the second worst dinning experience I have ever had. We were offered to sit at the bar for a 10% discount, this triggered an alarm in my head, as I work in the industry, and figgured they are doing this to have you purchase more of their overpriced liquer and beer. We declined since eating a steak inclose quarters isnt very fun. Upon walking to our table we were asked if we had ever been there before, and we asnwered yes... usually this would keep you from hearing the "we make all our sauces and cut our own steak speach" but that didnt happen. Then our server arrived, she seemed pleasent, but went on a very annoying sales picth on their gift cards. Now mind you The place i work at uses gift cards, but we sell them after the meal, if at all, they exist primarily to give customers the oppurtunity to buy them for family members. So to recieve this big push before the meal was highly annoying and seemed a desprite attempt to increase sales, like the before mentioned 10% bar seating discount. Now the clincher, I ordered a Ribeye med well, it was flattened and devoid of all juices, as I could tell they used a weight on it. Thus the portion of meat under the weight was smashed and over cooked and dry, the portion that wasn't weighted was Rare. Ribeye's are perhaps the easiest of steaks to cook as they have that line of fat that runs through them, this fat becomes loose and releases flavor through the cooking process, so as you reach medium to medium well, the fat begins to seperate. This wasn't present on my steak, as I could tell it wasn't cooked properly. Also given the fact that this was a 10oz cut, there was absolutely no reason for it to be weighted. The side dishes seemed bland, not due to lack of salt, there was plenty of that, but just in general felt the core ingrediants were cheap and flavorless to beging with, salt can only do so much to ENHANCE existing flavor. The second biggest issue is with the constant interuptions, I got my salad.. I don't need you to ask me how it was in the middle of it, because it's a salad, salad's are not culinary works of art, its lettuce, cheese and tomato's... there is no way you can mess that up. This didn't stop at the salad, it happened with the steaks, twice. Although I was not pleased with my steak, I ate it anyways because at this point, I felt un-welcome. I went out to eat with my mother, to catch up and enjoy a meal, this wasn't happening with all the intrusions. Now I realize this a corprate thing, to push add-ons, increase sales, to reduce waste by making sure the steaks are cooked properly to the customers liking " Can you cut in your steak so we can ensure its cooked properly" is fine, that is if your whole entire steak was cooked entirely the same way. But given the experience of this last visit, I won't ever be back.
